Daily Masking ♥ One Year Later

Daily Masking
It's been over a year since I decided to start using a sheet mask every night. Since it's now been over a year since I've added this extra step to my skincare routine I thought I would share my experiences of daily masking now that it's been over a year. If you are considering daily masking then you might find this information useful.

Like I mentioned in this post at first I had no pimples or blemished for months! I was
When I first started using masks I didn't get pimples for months! However, that time has past and now I get them like regular.

When I first started using a sheet mask every night I dreaded adding 10-20 minutes to my skincare routine. However. after the third month, it became addictive. I am now at the point where I feel incomplete if I don't use a sleep mask.

Don't Wear For Too Long
This is something that I recently learned. You know those suggested times on the back of the sheet mask packaging? Well, they aren't just there for no reason. I would be one of those people who would leave sheet masks until the mask dried out but sometimes doing this isn't the best idea because the mask material or essence could break you out if left on for too long. If you've tried the same type of masks then go ahead and add a couple minutes but be cautious of new sheet masks you've never tried before.

Extra Essence Is Your Best Friend
I can't tell you how happy it makes me when I know that there is a lot of leftover mask essence in the packaging! The following morning I squeeze the liquid out and gently pat the essence until it absorbs into my skin.

Kbeauty Skincare Empties ♥ Beauty Graveyard #3

Kbeauty Skincare Empties
Every time I run out of a skincare product I save the empty packaging for weeks (sometimes months) in hopes of publishing a beauty graveyard post but I grow tired of waiting to build up a decent empties collection and end up throwing them away. However, I was running low on three products that I've wanted to review but never got a chance to doing so. Now it's their time to shine! Three products and three mini reviews all in one post!

Kbeauty Skincare Empties
Innisfree Bija Trouble Cleansing Gel
I'm still pretty new to the world of cleansing oils and have only tried a few others but the Innisfree Bija Trouble Cleansing Gel is one of my favorites that I've encountered so far. It's a gentle non-greasy cleansing gel that performs just as well as cleaning oils. I'm also sure that a Lush junkie would approve of the pleasant fresh scent.

The only downfall is that it doesn't remove all makeup and sunscreen in one go so I would recommend you use this as part of a 2-step cleansing routine. I would still repurchase despite this small problem though.

Kbeauty Skincare Empties
Klairs Supple Preparation Facial Toner
What I love about Korean toners is how hydrating they are. Not only do they help clear up your face but they're moisturizing which is why I fell in love with the Klairs Supple Preparation Facial Toner. It's a refreshing toner that removes excess dirt and sebum. Reduces irritation and provides deep hydration all while restoring pH balance and it's also suitable for all skin types!

It's kind of pricey for a toner ($25) but you are definitely paying for quality with this one. I will definitely be repurchasing this toner again.

Kbeauty Skincare Empties
COSRX BHA Blackhead Power Liquid
This product I'm still not sure if it did anything or not. I bought this product because I heard everybody rave about this product and how it evened out their skin tone and blah blah blah. But honestly, I've gone a couple months without this product but my skin hasn't significantly changed. I would apply this every night with my hands and gently pat in the product (you could use it on a cotton pad but I preferred using my hands). The liquid is clear and unscented it basically felt like I was applying water to my face.

One thing I will note is that I do have a lot more visible blackheads on my nose but there were some days (while using this product) that I noticed the same blackheads but on other days they weren't as obvious. So I don't with this product.

Summer Essentials ♥ Summer 2017

Summer Essentials
It's summer! Whether you are on vacation, at the beach, working or just chilling at home here are my top essentials that I think can handy to have in the summer. If you aren't using one of these products in summer you might consider after reading this post.

Summer Essentials
I can't stress enough about sunscreen! Wear sunscreen every single day and reapply every 4 hours if you are going to be outside for a long time. To make reapplying easier invest in a mist with SPF so you can quickly mist while you are out. Remember to wear some SPF on your lips too!

Summer Essentials
Sandals are a summer staple. Find a couple pairs that suit your style and wear them all summer long!

Cooling Eye Stick
It's hot in most places during the summer so using cooling products in summer really helps refresh mine under eyes. The coolness soothes my eye bags and helps wake me up. Keep it in the refrigerator for a refreshing kick!

Water Bottle
Staying hydrated in general is important but especially important in the summer. Invest in a cute water bottle and refill as much as possible throughout the day to stay hydrated.

Summer Essentials
Lip Tints
Lip tints are my favorite type of lip product to wear in the summer. They're light, easy to apply and fade beautifully throughout the day. Peripera is known for their lip tints so if you are looking for a new lip tint maybe consider buying from Peripera. Etude House's Dear Darling Tint also has a wide selection of shades.

Summer Essentials
Sea Salt Spray
If you don't enjoy going to the beach (like me) but still love the textured beach waves apply some sea salt spray to loose curls for that tousled wavy look.

Dry Shampoo
To give your hair volume and texture apply some dry shampoo. My new favorite dry shampoo is the Not Your Mother's Beach Babe Texturizing Dry Shampoo. It gives the same beachy wave appearance without the effort.

Summer Essentials
To combat your eyes from the harsh sun rays a cute sunglasses is necessary! Heart shaped sunnies are my go-to (I got mine from Target).

If you are traveling or just chilling on the beach some reading material is pleasant to have by your side. Get yourself a fashion or gossip magazine (or a book) and chillax.

A'PIEU Wonder Tension Moist Pact ♥ Beauty Review

A'PIEU Wonder Tension Moist Pact Review
The latest trend in the Korean beauty market are tension pacts. The original tension pact was made by Missha and since A'pieu is a sister brand owned by Missha they decided to come out with their own version that's affordable and aimed at a younger audience. The purpose of a tension pact is to get the appearance of a smooth and flawless skin. They contain a woven net that filters out foundation evenly giving a light even application without applying too much pressure. The foundation in tension pacts have a creamy texture and a higher viscosity, unlike regular cushions that tend to be more liquidity. The puff is also slightly different from previous puffs because they are "jumbo" which makes the foundation adhere better.

I know a lot of people say that tension pacts are different from cushions but personally, I think they are the same thing with slight differences. I have used many cushions but this is my first time using a tension pact. Did it live up to my exceptions? Keep reading to find out!

A'PIEU Wonder Tension Moist Pact Review
A'PIEU Wonder Tension Moist Pact Review
A'PIEU Wonder Tension Moist Pact Review
Product Description
"Moisture type tension pact which directs skin to moisturize. Wrinkle improvement, whitening, UV protection functional cosmetics. SPF 37 PA++."

- Moisturizing
- Brightening
- Contains SPF 37 PA++
- Natural coverage
- Light floral scent
- Packaging looks luxurious
- Convenient packaging (the Marymond one is way cuter though)
- Affordable

What drew me to this pact was the slim and sleek luxurious packaging. The foundation itself makes your skin appear healthy because it brightens up your skin tone giving a natural dewy look. The coverage is light to light medium. It's high enough to cover minimal redness, pores and small blemishes. The coverage is good enough to match even your skin tone.

- Only two tones (#21 and #23, I have #23)
- No refill

I don't have anything to complain about with this cushion. Obviously, it sucks that it only comes in two shades. One thing that I was annoyed with was that this didn't come with a extra refill like most cushions do but this isn't a cushion so I understand why they didn't add one.

Final Thoughts
Since this tension pact is a moist version it's suitable for dry or combination/normal skin. If you have oily skin then I wouldn't recommend this to you because it would make you look super shiny. They do have another version that would be more suitable for those with oily skin so if you are interested in this cushion I would recommend you checking out that.

Where To Buy
You can purchase the A'PIEU Wonder Tension Moist Pact here. You can get the Marymond packaging here.

What's In My Purse ♥ Summer 2017

Summer 2017 What's In My Purse
You know it's the start of my summer series when I show you guys my updated what's in my purse post. I've noticed in my past what's in my bag posts that I am always using my Rebecca Minkoff Mini Mac purse but this time I am finally showing you a new bag that I've been using off and on for the past year. I don't think I carry too much with me but I will let you be the judge of that.

Summer 2017 What's In My Purse
This is the bag that I am currently using. This is a pale pink colored bag from Forever 21. There is lots of space inside so I can store a lot inside. The only downside is the zipper, it isn't sewn completely across the bag so it makes it difficult to zip open and close. On the side, I have my Stella Lou keychain. She's just chilling on the side.

Summer 2017 What's In My Purse
Starting from the left I have some eye drops (I get very dry eyes), earphones, heart-shaped sunglasses with a wipe to clean them, my cow coin purse which I keep my cards, cash and coins inside, oil absorbing sheets and finally my iPhone 7.

Summer 2017 What's In My Purse
Here are all my beauty goodies. This section is always changing depending what makeup I am wearing that day. From left to right, Mario Badescu Rosewater facial spray, Too Faced white chocolate palette (great for traveling), Etude House lip tint, Supergoop! setting mist, It's Skin Mini Bebe hand cream, mini perfume bottle, Sun Bum lip balm, A'PIEU Wonder Tension moist cushion and Bath and Body Works unicorn anti-bacterial hand gel (it contains glitter!).

Lifestyle Favorites ♥ June 2017

June 2017 Lifestyle Favorites
Time for part two of my June favorites. This time I am sharing my favorite and most reached for lifestyle items that I used most in June such as food, games and other random junk. If you still hungry for more check out my June beauty favorites after you read this post.

June 2017 Lifestyle Favorites
Ello Glass Water Bottle
I recently switched from plastic to glass water bottles because one random night I couldn't sleep I decided to do some research and basically using plastic bottles aren't really good for you. Definitely, do your own research if you're curious too. I found this water bottle on sale at Target. There is a silicon lining around the bottle to prevent any risk of breakage. The color is also really cute!

Stella Lou Keychain
One of my favorite purchase of the year has been this Stella Lou keychain. She's been on so many adventures with me already (she came to Disney World with me) I can't wait to take her on more!

Strawberry KitKats Minis
I've been on the hunt for these strawberry flavored KitKats ever since I first saw them on Instagram. Finally, I found them on a random trip to Walmart so I snatched up a bag and OMG these are delicious! I need to pick up more bags before they discontinue them!

June 2017 Lifestyle Favorites
Smarty Pants Adult Probiotic Complete - Lemon Creme
I've bought these Smarty Pants probiotic gummies in the past but this time I tried a new flavor, lemon creme. I don't like them as much as the blueberry ones but they do their job which is why I decided to include them in my monthly favorites.

Bath and Body Works Summer Boardwalk Salted-Caramel Popcorn Candle
This is my absolute favorite candle ever! When Bath and Body Works discontinued Summer Boardwalk a few years ago I only had one left so I made sure to only use it when I craved the scent of carnival food. However, this year they finally brought Summer Boardwalk back! It's a super sugary sweet scent (I love sweet scents) so it may not be everybody's cup pf tea but at least smell it next time you're cruising BBW.

June 2017 Lifestyle Favorites
Tekken 7
I grew up playing the Tekken games so when I heard they were releasing a new Tekken game I was all over that and stalked release information (as I do with almost everything). Tekken 7 contains a similar story like the previous games, family blood bath and other nonsense. Honestly, the story mode was rather boring but what I loved about this game was all of the female characters! I remember back when Nina was like the only female character that was available but now you have 11 female fighters to choose from, which is amazing! I played Tekken 3D Prime Edition so a lot of the players were familiar but I loved the new fighters, especially Lucky Chole!

Disney Photo Diary ♥ Summer 2017

Disney Photo Diary
Today instead of posting my weekly edit post I wanted to share a few photos I took whilst in Orlando. I didn't take that many photos but I am sharing the photos I did take since I have them anyway and don't want to delete and forget the memories from my Disney birthday trip.

I won't be posting my regular weekly edit posts for the next two (maybe three) weeks because I will be in Mexico and won't have access to a computer because I won't be taking my laptop due to the laptop bans. Instead, I will be posting a regular post in its place. Hopefully, you guys understand. Follow my Instagram and Twitter to follow my adventures in Mexico!

Disney Photo Diary
Every time we go to Downtown Disney Springs I indulge and get one of those chocolate covered caramel apples because they are so cute and yummy! I wanted to get a Baymax apple (like last time) but they didn't have any at the shop I went to. I picked up the Minnie Mouse instead which came with chocolate covered marshmallow ears!

Disney Photo Diary
My birthday pin in front of Cinderella's castle.

Disney Photo Diary
They gave me a free chocolate cake when I went to eat because I was wearing my birthday pin. I don't like super chocolaty things so I shared this with my sisters. I loved the Mickey sprinkles!

Disney Photo Diary
Big Thunder Mountain! We went on a very typical summer day (hot and humid but cloudy enough to cause a storm) so most of the outdoor rides had all these weather advisory alerts that could cause the rides to close down if the weather got really bad. We managed to ride Big Thunder Mountain in the end though. It's such a fun ride, it's a kiddie coaster but still enjoyable.

Beauty Favorites ♥ June 2017

June 2017 Beauty Favorites
It's a new month which means a new selection of beauty favorites! I've been buying lots of new products for summer but today I am just showing you the ones that stuck out to me. Here are my top 5 beauty products from the month of June.

June 2017 Beauty Favorites
Shea Moisture Super Complex 10-in-1 Renewal System Hair Masque
I bought this is late June and used plenty of times in June because it's an amazing hair mask! It's so moisturizing and makes my hair feel and look healthy after every use. I am almost done with this tub because I used up most of the mask when my hair was long but now that my hair is short I don't have to use as much as I did but I will still buy another tub when I finish this one.

Not Your Mother's Beach Babe Texturizing Dry Shampoo
I was in Ulta when I discovered that NYM came out with a beach babe dry shampoo. The beach babe spray (original not the banana one) by Not Your Mother's is one of my favorite hair products because of the texture it gives my hair. I love that effortless ocean waves look so I bought this without hesitation because I knew I would love it and I do! This gives your hairs lots of texture and volume and still manages to make your hair look clean.

June 2017 Beauty Favorites
A'pieu Wonder Tension Moist Cushion
It's been a while since I used a new cushion pact. This one by A'pieu was a pretty good cushion. The coverage is light, breathable, and sets within a few minutes. It's a great summer cushion because it has a light coverage if you don't have that many skin troubles this would be fantastic for you.

Etude House Fix and Fix Tone-Up Mint Primer
Color correcting is something I've always been interested in but never dabbled in because I was scared to do. But I finally invested in a green primer because I suffer from redness on the side of my cheeks. This Etude House mint primer reduces redness while brightening your complexion. Just make sure not to apply too much product because it will make you look like a ghost!

Essence the Gel Nail Polish
I've wanted to buy an Essence nail polish for a long time but never bought any before because their color selection isn't the best. However, I finally caved in and bought, which I've had my eyes on forever. The color is really pretty (though I have similar colors in my collection). The brush reminds me of the Sally Hansen nail polish but what I love most about this nail polish is the formula. It isn't too thin or thick and no matter how many coats you apply the color looks the same which is rare.

Disney & Orlando Haul ♥ Summer 2017

Disney & Orlando Haul
I'm back from my weekend trip to Orlando! It was so hot and humid I almost died but I had a fun time. Today I am going to show you guys what I picked whilst in Orlando. We only went to the Orlando Premium Outlet, Disney Springs, Target and Magic Kingdom. I wanted to explore Disney Springs and the Magic Kingdom but we went on rather humid days so we got exhausted really quick. I will still share the few things I bought though.

Disney & Orlando Haul
Here are all my Disney themed items I purchased. At Disney Springs I found Mickey's Coffee that I wanted to get and the Ellie badge/pin! The Alice in Wonderland mug and postcard are from the Orlando Premium Outlet. At the Magic Kingdom, I got my free birthday pin (my birthday isn't til July 14 but this trip was in honor of my birthday). A lot of the cast members said Happy Birthday to me and I even got a free chocolate cake so wearing the pin did have its benefits.

Fun fact: My sisters and I call each other 'Nana'. My younger sister wrote the name on the pin but it was so hot and humid that the name started to fade!

Disney & Orlando Haul
Here are the non-Disney goods I bought. They had a lot of Korean beauty products at the Forever 21 I visited. I only bought two Berrisom Water Bomb Jelly Masks though and an ice cream loofah. The rest of the beauty items are from Sephora (minus the Essence concealer which is from Target). I got my free birthday gift from Sephora, Tarte blush, and lip gloss. I also found a travel-size duo by Drunk Elephant that includes the famous Glycolic Night Serum which I heard amazing reviews on. I also bought a Mini Bebe Hand Cream by It's Skin and the Supergoop Defense Refresh Setting Spray with SPF 50.
