Hello Paper Cat ♥ Stationery Haul

Hello Paper Cat Haul
My first experience with Hello Paper Cat wasn't the best. I complained that the magnets of the bookmarks were too small and not strong enough to hold anything! However I'm a believer in second chances. Today I'm presenting you guys with my second order from Hello Paper Cat. I ordered a bookmark to see if the quality has improved since my last order.

Hello Paper Cat Haul
Everything came secured in such cute packaging. I also received a Valentine's Day bears free bookmark!

Hello Paper Cat Haul
Since I wanted to see if the size of the magnet has changed I ordered the Hello My Name Is Unicorn Bookmark. I am delighted to say that the magnet part of the bookmark is now bigger and strong enough to snap shut.

Hello Paper Cat Haul
The main reason I order from Hello Paper Cat was because I saw that they have mini Happy Planner covers! You can choose whatever planner dashboard you want and gt it turned into a mini Happy Planner cover. I wanted to order multiple covers but refrained and decided to get two this time. For my first cover I went with the I Love Breakfast dashboard.

Hello Paper Cat Haul
For my second mini Happy Planner cover I went with the Umaru Moon design. The quality of the covers are well made. The cover isn't as firm as the covers of the Happy Planner but they are strong enough. The edges are of the Hello Paper Cat cover are sharp and not rounded like the Happy Planner covers, this doesn't bother me too much though.

A Weekend Post ♥ Week 4

A Weekend Post
#1 Isn't that coloring book the cutest you've ever seen? I've been looking for a affordable but cute coloring book for the longest time. I found the Kawaii Alpacas through an instagram post and when I searched for it on Amazon it was only $7 so I instantly bought it! Would you guys be interested in a review on it?

#2 Earlier this weekend I received a slew of cute stationery. It's amazing how some happy snail mail can uplift your mood!

#3 Along with my stationery I also received my pins from Just Peachy! This is my second order from them. I really love the design of their pins. I keep them pinned to my dream board for inspiration.

#4 Happy Lunar New Year! This year is the year of the rooster. I was born in the year of the rooster so hopefully this year will bring me good luck!

#5 I've currently recovering from some sort of sickness. It all started midday Wednesday and then I was sick all day Thursday. I honestly don't know how I even got sick because I was home all day Tuesday and Wednesday so I guess it came out of the blue? I normally never get sick because I have a pretty stable immune system so when I do get sick I get pissed at myself for not treating my body well.

#6 Since I was sick I slept all day Thursday and wasn't able to publish my blog post that I had planned for that day. So I pushed Thursday's post to Friday (read here) and Friday's post to Saturday. I could've just missed these days and post them next week but I have so many posts waiting to be published!

#7 I've been up since 5 pm yesterday and haven't been able to sleep because of this stupid cough! Send help!!!!!!

Best + Worst of COSRX ♥ Mini Beauty Reviews

Best and Worst of COSRX
If you log onto any online Korean beauty website and check out the bestselling page you will always see a couple of Cosrx products on the list. I've been testing out some of theses so called bestselling products and today I will be quickly reviewing each one of them. So are these Cosrx products worth it or not?

Best and Worst of COSRX
Low pH Good Morning Gel Cleanser
"But first, cleanser. This Low pH Good Morning Gel Cleanser boosts a low pH level of 5, which makes it perfect of any skin type. It's also infused with BHA and Tea Tree Oil, a magical mix of ingredients that rids of dead skin cells, dissolves impurities deep within pores, and controls sebum, leaving skin glowing."

I've mentioned before that my skin is very picky when it comes to cleansers. So any cleanser that works with my skin is a win win! It cleans my face nicely without drying or making my skin uncomfortably tight. It's not the most amazing cleanser that I've tried but I would repurchase it again.

BHA Blackhead Power Liquid
"This powerful yet gentle chemical exfoliant boasts BHA, the scariest weapon against blackheads. Without harsh peeling or irritation, this BHA and natural extract-infused liquid roots out stubborn blackheads and helps replenish skin to prevent new build-up in the pores. Now that's a force to be reckoned with."

This is one of Cosrx's top selling products that every Korean beauty blogger raves about and I honestly don't know why? It does what it's suppose to do (get's rid of blackheads) but that's about it. This is not a miracle product it's not gonna cure all of your skincare woes just remove blackheads. I don't understand the hype of this product. It's basically water, it's just looks, feels and smells like water. But somehow this miracle water can diminishes blackheads.

After using this everyday I noticed my blackheads have significantly disappear. It does it's job but would I call this a holy grail product? No! Maybe it's because I don't have that many blackhead to begin with (only my nose). It's an extra skincare step that I can live without.

Aloe Soothing Sun Cream
"A standout SPF cream that not only protects skin from the sun's harmful UVA and UVB rays, but also soothes and moisturizes skin with Aloe Vera and other nourishing ingredients. So you can leave the old-lady visor at home with no fear of redness, sunburn, and irritation. Plus, the cream is non-sticky and oil-free for an easy application and long-lasting effect."

It's not greasy and absorbs fast but it's kind of heavy. I'm also not a fan of the aloe sunscreen scent. It also is kind of tricky to remove, I started double cleansing because of this sun cream. It's not the best sunscreen I've used, my favorite go-to sunscreen is  Missha All-Around Safe Block Essence Sun.

Best and Worst of COSRX
Ultimate Nourishing Overnight Spa Mask
"Cooked up with 65% Rice Extract and other amazing natural ingredients, this super nourishing overnight mask brightens, hydrates, and nourishes skin as you sleep. You'll wake up to a milky complexion that no amount of beauty sleep can ever offer."

This sleeping pack is a rich, smooth, non-greasy, clean smelling cream that glides on easily. It takes a while for the mask to set. When I woke up the next morning and wash off the mask I noticed my face was brighter and moisturized. I found out that on days when I used this sleeping mask back to back I would get these small bumps, not exactly pimples just flesh colored bumps that would disappear when I stopped using the mask. I would repurchase this again but I want to try the Honey Overnight Mask next.

Advanced Snail 92 All In One Cream
"An all-in-one repair cream jampacked with an incredible 92% Snail Secretion Filtrate. It intensely moisturizes skin and boosts its elasticity, keeping wrinkles and fine lines at bay. It even treats damaged spots and blemishes, resulting in smoother skin. It's so nourishing, you can use in place of essence and moisturizer."

Since I'm in my early 20's I've started using many anti-wrinkle or snail creams as my night cream to help combat premature wrinkles. I haven't noticed a difference since using this cream. It just doesn't do anything. I wouldn't repurchase again because I know there is another amazing snail cream out there.

One Step Pimple Clear Pad
"This one-step trouble-shooting pad is supercharged with soothing Allantoin and blemish-blasting Betaine Salicylate, which exfoliates dead skin and promotes cellular renewal. It leaves pores unclogged and skin pimple-free. We can definitely get used to that."

This is Cosrx's best product ever! It's my absolute favorite Cosrx product! You can read why here.

Acne Pimple Master Patch
"Medicated with Hydrocolloi, these sticker patches knock the daylights out of pimples. They sap zits dry and prevent them from growing bigger by protecting them from dust and viruses in the air. Your blemishes will shrink into oblivion, but in the meantime you can even wear these patches out since the're geniusly clear."

Each pack contains 24 different size patches. I've used most of the patches up already.on various spots that have appear on my face. I don't get pimples that often but when I did I would use one of these patches. However, after I stick one of these patches onto my face guess what happens? NOTHING! I've given these patches countless amount of chances and nothing happens! I've tried using these at morning anf night but once I remove the pimple would still be there the next day. This product is so overrated. I would not repurchase or recommend these to anyone!

Best and Worst of COSRX
So after testing out 7 products from Cosrx only 3 of them are products that I would repurchase it. The rest of the products either didn't do anything or weren't as good as other products that I've tried in the past. Maybe it's because I don't have acne prone skin and most of Cosrx products are for those with acne. I will continue to try new Cosrx products but I won't have my expectations raised up as high.

Sprinkled Pug ♥ Sticker Haul

Sprinkled Pug Haul
I haven't posted a stationery haul in forever! I'm still obsessed with planner stickers but I do have self control. Back in 2015 when I was posting a sticker haul every week I noticed that I was spending so much money on stickers so I decided to stop buying them until I used up more then half of my sticker collection. Today's shop that we will be talking about is Sprinkled Pug. The store is located in Ca and run by Liz. Not only are Liz's stickers incredibly adorable but they are also affordable! All of her stickers are less then $3! Plus, if you follow Sprinkled Pug on Instagram you can get a some coupon codes, there is currently one for 30% your whole order! Since the sheets were so cheap I bought quite a lot of stickers. Let's see what I got!

Sprinkled Pug Haul
Everything came packaged in the cutest envelope (I forgot to take a picture)! Liz included a cute handwritten note on Sumikko Gurashi stationery! She also gave me her business card and a lot of freebies which I will show you later.

Sprinkled Pug Haul
I love the amount of pastel stickers she has in her shop. I bought the pastel banner, Pocky sticker sheet and checklist and a mini box stickers.

Sprinkled Pug Haul
I also picked up the pastel laptop stickers, Nintendo 3DS stickers, Instagram bubbles and a sheet of water tracker stickers.

Sprinkled Pug Haul
Sprinkled Pug has some adorable character stickers from Animal Crossing, Bob's Burgers, Anime, Adventure Time, etc. I got the Animal Crossing, Alpacasso and Totoro. The Totoro ones are also available in two other colors. These were my favorite stickers from my order!

Sprinkled Pug Haul
These were my extras stickers I got with my order. I didn't expect this many freebies! She gave me two different size samplers. I'm not sure if I got 2 sheets of Animal Crossing stickers but they are two different sizes so I'm hoping she added it for free and not on accident. Either way I'm grateful for all the stickers I received. Thank you Liz!

Too Faced White Chocolate Chip Palette ♥ Beauty Review

Too Faced White Chocolate Chip Palette Beauty Review
If you saw my Christmas haul you saw that I bought the Too Faced White Chocolate Chip Palette as a Christmas gift to myself. When pictures of the mini chocolate palettes first surfaced I made sure to keep my eye on them because they looked too cute to pass up! I bought the Matte Chocolate Chip Palette for my younger sister and the White Chocolate Chip Palette for myself because I preferred the shadows on the White Chocolate Palette. This is my fifth palette from Too Faced and certainly not my last! I've been using this palette ever since I opened it so today I will be sharing my thoughts and pictures of the palette.

Too Faced White Chocolate Chip Palette Beauty Review

Too Faced White Chocolate Chip Palette Beauty Review
Description
"White chocolate dreams come true with a confection of powdered sugar pastels, creamy nudes and a pop of black sugar to keep things sexy. Chocolate Chip White Chocolate features 11 antioxidant-rich cocoa powder infused shades and our signature chocolate scent. The bite-sizes palette is the perfect travel companion that allows you to indulge your beauty craving anywhere you go. "

Pros
- Wearable eye shadows shades
- Various shade finishes
- Comes with names of colors
- Smells amazing
- Travel friendly
- Nice mirror
- Affordable
- Cute Packaging

Cons
None

My Experience
I love how they made a portable version of the Chocolate Palettes. The Chocolate Bar Palette is one of my favorite makeup products but it's not as travel friendly as the Chocolate Chip Palettes are. Whenever I'm running late but still want my eyelids to have some color I throw this in my bag and run out the door. The mirror is a decent size as well! The mirrors in the other chocolate palettes aren't as big as this one making touch ups easier.

The palette contains 11 gorgeous shades with different finishes; 4 matte, 1 frost, 3 metallic and 3 shimmer/sparkly eye shadows. My most worn colors are Cookie Dough, Indulge, Exotica and Pearl Candy, which I use to highlight my inner corners.

My Rating

A Weekend Post ♥ Week 3

A Weekend Post
#1 My grandmother is going to spend the next couple of days with us. She is staying in our spare room which also happens to be our game room, we keep all of out game consoles in there. Since I need to play Splatoon to relieve stress I will be moving the Wii U into my room until she leaves. This could be dangerous because now I can play Splatoon whenever I want but I'm so excited!

#2 Two songs I've been obsessed with lately are CLC's Hobgoblin and Dreamcatcher's Chase Me. Both of these songs are so catchy! You have been warned!

#3 I'm really satisfied with all of these week's blog posts. This week I posted my Updated Tsum Tsum Collection, How Cruelty Free Am I? and My First Impressions on the Mini Happy Planner. Give them some love if you haven't read them already.

#4 Today I received my first Sprinkled Pug order. This made my day because everything is so cute! Even the package the stickers came in was super adorable! I will share what I got in a sticker haul next week.

#5 I finally bought some compressed air! I plan on cleaning my laptop's fan this weekend. I never cleaned it before but I heard when you clean your fan it makes your computer run faster.

#6 It's suppose to storm all this weekend, some could be severe. For those who don't know I hate strong storms because they make me anxious (especially when we have tornado warnings!). So I will be on edge all this weekend.

#7 I started watching A Series Of Unfortunate Events on Netflix. I read the books when I was younger and watched the movie starring Jim Carrey when it came out. This Netflix Original series stars Neil Patrick Harris as Count Olaf, his is much more darker then the movie's Count but he's also funnier. I've only watched 3 episodes so far but I will continue watching the series this weekend. Are any of you watching the series?

The MINI Happy Planner ♥ First Impressions

The MINI Happy Planner First Impressions
Back when I got my 2016 Happy Planner I made a post on my first impressions of the planner. After using the planner for a year I grew to love the Happy Planner so much that I decided to repurchase it again this year (Even though I still haven't bought it yet!). Anyways, this year Create 365 or MAMBI decided to release a smaller version of their popular Happy Planner. So today I am sharing my first impressions on the mini Happy Planner.

The MINI Happy Planner First Impressions
The size is a lot smaller then I thought it would be. It's about the size on my hand for someone reason I was expecting to be a couple more inches bigger. I added a picture with the original size happy planner to compare the two sizes. There is also a bigger version of the Happy Planner but I don't have that size so I can't compare all of the sizes. I think the Mini Happy Planner is travel friendly so it's perfect for those who go to school or live a busy life and want to keep a portable organizer.

The MINI Happy Planner First Impressions
The MINI Happy Planner First Impressions
When you first open the planner you see this welcoming page. They provide a line where you can write in your name. The next pages contain the 2017-2018 yearly calendars.

The MINI Happy Planner First Impressions
Next is the monthly calendar. I like to use this to schedule what blog posts I'm going to publish on each day of the week. The bottom left corner has a flower which kind of annoys me to be honest. The flower designs vary for each month. I will probably cover the flowers with a sticker or washi tape once summer is over to fit in with my monthly themes better.

The MINI Happy Planner First Impressions
The Mini Happy Planners come with a horizontal layout. There are 8 long horizontal boxes. The last box is for notes. In the notes section there is a square box which is different every week sometimes there is an inspiration quote, weekly highlight, word of the week, etc. I really love the addition of this box! The center of the weekly calendar has a black and white pattern in the middle that is reminiscent of washi tape. There are only two different designs throughout the whole planner, stripes and polka dots.

The MINI Happy Planner First Impressions
On the last page of the month right before a new month starts is a favorites page. You can list all your monthly favorites on this page like what you've been loving, crafting, feeling, dreaming, listening, improving, etc. There is also a section for birthdays, important dates throughout the month and a I'm grateful for section. This is my favorite part in the planner because it will help me remember all of my monthly favorites!

The MINI Happy Planner First Impressions
Lastly, we have the notes section, which only contains one page for notes. I don't use the notes section so this doesn't bother me but if you like to have a couple of pages to doodle on then this could be disappointing.

How Cruelty Free Am I? ♥ Cruelty Free Clean Up

Cruelty Free Clean Up
As you guys know by now I'm going cruelty free thig year (minus Korean beauty products) and urge those who may be interested in going cruelty free to join me. You don't have to go cruelty free overnight (you can if you want to) but you can decided to stop buying from beauty brands that test on animals starting right now! There are tons of companies out there that are just as affordable as some of these brands that choose not to test on poor animals. You can discover new concealers, foundations, mascaras, skincare products, etc from other brands.

Today I thought it would be fun to dig into my makeup drawers and check how many products I have aren't cruelty free. I decided to do a huge make up purge and throw away anything that I haven't used in months or expired. While I was cleaning out I found products from brands that do test on animals that still had time left and decided to keep them. Some of these products I bought not too long ago or contain a lot of product inside and I simply don't want to waste them. However, once I'm done using said products I will throw them away and not repurchase. With that said, I won't promote these brands or products anymore. I will just silently use them until they're gone.

Cruelty Free Clean Up
Obviously big brands such as L'Oreal, Maybelline, Cover Girl, Revlon test on animals. Normally big brands like these aren't cruelty free because I guess they're global brands and advertise well enough not to care about going cruelty free. Most of these products I don't mind giving up. I will throw anything away that has already gone off date but those few products that still have some time left I will use up because I hate mindlessly throwing away things.

Cruelty Free Clean Up
Garnier, John Frieda, Bosica and Hawaiian Tropic also all test on animals. Out of all these products I'm most upset about giving up the sun lotion because it's literally the best sunscreen I've used on my body!  But I'm pretty sure there is another animal friendly sun cream that is just as good and even better. I bought all these products less then 5 months ago so I still have some time left with them before I throw them out.

Cruelty Free Clean Up
Now onto the tricky brands. OGX (or Organix Hair) and Benefit. Both companies claim on their websites and products however after researching I found out that they are actually not. Which sucks because I was overjoyed when I first found out OGX didn't test on animals because I love their products and use them on a daily basis but I am willing to give them up for another brand. You can read more as to why these two brands aren't cruelty free here.

Lastly, MAC Cosmetics. Back when I first went cruelty free a couple years ago MAC didn't test on animals but now they do. It's unfortunate but like I said before I'm willing to give up a brand that test on animals for another beauty brand that doesn't.

Cruelty Free Clean Up
What's your thoughts on companies that test on animals?

Tsum Tsum Collection ♥ Updated

Tsum Tsum Collection
It's been a year since I've shown you guys my Tsum Tsum collection. My collection has grown tremendously since then. I still actively collect Tsum Tsums I'm actually waiting for a Disney order at the moment. I would've waited for that order to come in before I decided to show you guys my collection but I it's only two Tsum Tsums so I figured it wouldn't make a huge difference. Anyways, let's get started!

Tsum Tsum Collection
Here is an overall look at my Tsum Tsum collection.  I have a total of 73 Tsum Tsums. My heart shelf is pretty much filled but I can still squeeze one or two more Tsum Tsums in there. I bought the heart shelf last year so I'm not sure if they still sell it.

A majority of my Tsum Tsums are from the Disney Store online, five of them are from Disney Japan and the rest of them are from Target. I don't have any of my Tsum Tsums in any specific order. I tried to keep them organized by collection but as you can tell they got rearrange through time.

Tsum Tsum Collection
This is a close up at the top left part of the heart shelf.

Tsum Tsum Collection
This is the top right of the heart.

Tsum Tsum Collection
Finally we have the bottom of the heart (the peak?).
