Weekly Edit #11

Weekly Edit
#1 On Monday we dealt with the remains of Hurrican Irma (it was just a tropical storm when it reached us). I was kind of worried because we had the chance of getting hit with powerful winds and strong storms. However, I had work that day and by the time I came home I took a very long nap and slept until midnight and by then the storms passed (I'm not sure if we even had any). Thankfully there was no damage near us but most schools and establishments were closed until Tuesday.

#2 If you are ever feeling down I recommend watching the Molang videos. They're incredibly cute you can't help but smile!

#3 I finished Over The Garden Wall this week. There are only 10 episodes so it was a quick watch. The show is strangely random and slow at first but the ending was quick and bittersweet but it's a cute show and I will be watching again. I love Greg! He's such an innocent soul! "Oh, molasses and potatoes!"

#4 I've been trying everything pumpkin flavored that Starbucks has to offer. I've had plenty of iced pumpkin spice lattes and pumpkin scone but I want to try the rest of the pumpkin things on the menu.

#5 My armpits have been really irritated lately I'm not sure if it's a new body wash I've been using or my Certain Dri deodorant but I've stopped using the deodorant first because that's what I've been using under my arms more. However, if I see no improvement I will stop using the body wash next.

#6 I was really disappointed with the latest Nintendo Direct. I was expecting some new games for the Switch but we got nothing interesting. I mean I wasn't expecting anything extravagant but a first look at games underdevelopment would've been nice. Looks like we have to wait until the next Nintendo Direct.

#7 During the Japan Nintendo Direct they revealed a Girls Mode 4 trailer! For those who don't know Girls Mode is what they call the Style Savvy/Style Boutique games in Japan. They gave Japan and Europe release dates for the game however they didn't mention a North America date! It took almost a year for Style Savvy: Fashion Forward to be released in North America I hope it doesn't take that long again.

September Goals ♥ Blog & Lifestyle

September Goals
It's time to share my goals that I want to accomplish in September. As always I will be sharing my blog and lifestyle goals. This month I decided to take a look back at the goals that I set up for myself in August. I never did this in my past monthly goals because I didn't want these posts to get too long but after reading other bloggers monthly goals posts I thought that it would be better to take a look back to see how many goals I completed and hold myself accountable.

Last Month's Goals
Comment on blogs, Twitter, and Instagram
I only commented on blogs but not on Twitter or Instagram so I can't completely cross this off.

Start making DIY projects
Again, I can only cross half of this goal off because technically I did post the crochet sunglass cozy pattern but I didn't post as many DIY projects as I would've liked but I'm proud that I posted at least one.

Buy a Nintendo Switch
Yup! I honestly didn't think I was going to find one but I did! I am so happy!

Have a closet cleanse
Another yes! Plus, I also cleaned out the drawers on my wardrobe too!

DIY for myself
Not only did I finish the two crochet painting that I wanted to finish but I also finished crocheting these cupcake coasters that have been sitting in my crochet bin for years! The pattern is from Twinkie Chan.

This Month's Goals
1. Start planning out Blogtober and Blogmas
I'm still not sure whether I have enough Halloween/Autumn ideas for there to be a Blogtober but so far I am really pleased with my Blogtober ideas, I will keep you updated if I decided to partake. As for Blogmas, I've participated in Blogmas for as long as I can remember so I feel like I just have to do it every year I have a couple ideas but I need more so I can start planning as soon as possible so the holiday stress doesn't get to me.

2. Post 2-4 times a week on Instagram
Maybe you have noticed that I started to post more on my Instagram. I've been slowing trying to post more pictures up on my Insta-feed. Some may be wondering why I want to post on Instagram more and I just want to be more active on all of my social media to spread my blog name out there. I can easily just post photos of my scheduled blog post every day (which I've done in the past) but I want to post random photos of my life like cute things or pictures of Lucy.

3. Get rid of candles
Back when I was cleaning out my drawers I found a lot of candles from Bath and Body Works and Yankee Candle. I have over 5 large candles that I want to finish burning so I can make room for new autumn scented candles! I actually already started this goal and have been doing a pretty fine job at burning at least one candle a day. Most of the candles are halfway done so my goal is to burn through as many of these as I can.

4. Start using my bullet journal again
Remember my bullet journal? Well, I haven't used that thing in months! It's so annoying because I spent a lot of money on that journal and I don't use it enough so I feel like I am not getting my money's worth out of it. It's not like I can sell that thing either because it's already scribbled all over. So I want to start using my bullet journal more I've been getting inspiration from Instagram and Youtube so hopefully, that will help inspire me to journal more.

5. Go to the doctor
I haven't gone to a proper doctor since I was 19 (I am now 24) so it's been a long time! It's not that I'm scared or anything (I would much rather get regular check ups) it's because of health care. Long story short, I have been having some stomach issues and I really want to get it checked out because the pain has gotten stronger in the past two weeks. Hopefully, it isn't anything serious.

My Washi Tape Stash ♥ Stationery Collection

Washi Tape Collection
As you guys know I love stationery and probably have more than I need but I can't help it I adore stationery! I've shared my planner clips before and wanted to continue the share my stationery collection this I am showing my washi tape collection. My washi tape collection is pretty small (at least I think so) and can fit in an old Birchbox but I love my washi collection!

Washi Tape Collection
I tried to organize my washi box as much as I could but somehow it still doesn't look like it. The first and last rows are the most organized. The box if you are wondering is from a past Birchbox.

Starting with the bottom roll I have a bunch of glitter washi tape most are from sales but I haven't used these too much yet. I also keep washi that contains the most amount of tape on this roll. On the second row, I have a bunch of random washi tape but this row I keep my washi that contains less washi.

Washi Tape Collection
Next row is the cute washi! I mean I have a bunch of cute washi but this row is my personal fave. All of the washi are from various places such as Target, Etsy, Michael's, etc. Finally the last row, I keep my smaller rolls of washi tape and the remaining thin washi that I have left over from a previous set.

Washi Tape Collection
I have many rolls of thin colored washi tape. They sell these rolls of thin washi at Michael's Craft Store they have different colored set, I have the pastel and primary colored ones. I only bought the primary ones for the black roll I rarely use the other ones. haha

Washi Tape Collection
My latest two rolls of washi tape are from Hoshi Island. She has the cutest washi tape! Look at that pumpkin spice latte washi!

Beauty Favorites ♥ August 2017

August 2017 Beauty Favorites
I know it may be a little bit late to post my August favorite but since I took a break last week I will be posting my favorites this week. I only had a few favorite things in August so these posts won't be too long. This month I only had 5 beauty products that made it to my August favorites. Let's start!

August 2017 Beauty Favorites
Etude House Sunprise Mild Airy Finish Sun Milk SPF 50+ PA+++
As much as I adore my trusty Missha Sun Essence I want to try out other sunscreens. The one I decided to try in August was the Etude House Sunprise Milk Airy Finish Sun Milk. Etude House has a couple different sun protection formulas but I decided to go with a sun milk because I never tried one and wanted to see how the formula compared to other sunscreens. It sets to a powdery finish so if you are not into dewy sun creams you want to consider checking this out.

Peripera Ink Lasting Mint Cushion - Perikiki Collection
Every summer I try out a new cushion and this year I decided to try the Peripera Ink Lasting Mint Cushion. First off, the packaging just screams summer! I love the natural coverage, the mint controls redness and lasts a pretty decent time. You can read my full review here.

August 2017 Beauty Favorites
Tony Moly Back Gel Eye Liner - OiOi Edition
One of my favorite eye liners! When I saw that it came in a cute packaging I jumped at the opportunity to buy it. Once I finish the line I plan on reusing the top part and just buying the eyeliner so that I can keep using the cute packaging.

Colourpop Super Shock Cheek - Monster
When it comes to my makeup I don't really contour or highlight often (it's just not my style to wear too much makeup). However, recently I've been getting more into highlighting. I own a couple highlighters but Monster is the one I've been gravitating to the most. It's a duo chrome highlighter that looks lovely when struck by light.

Etude House Tear Drop Liner - #3 Pure Sparkling Pearl
This is my second Tear Drop Liner by Etude House but this time I decided to get a different color. The shade is a beautiful light pink (almost duo chrome) glittery color. The only problem with Etude House Tear Drop Liners is that they don't last long. If anybody knows of a glittery liner that lasts long and possibly water-proof please let me know.

Weekly Edit #10

Weekly Edit
#1 It's starting to get colder in Georgia. It was 70 degrees early this week even though that's still too warm for me it's much better than 90 degrees like it was 2 weeks ago. I'm still waiting for it to get to the lower 60s so I can wear my knitted cardigans.

#2 Cassey's post on being called Thick was pretty interesting but what was more interesting was the comments. Half of the people said being called thick it like called fat and others didn't mind it at all. As someone who has curves (who hates them!), I grew up in an era where it was trendy to have a super thin body and now it's the complete opposite! Would love to know your thoughts on this topic.

#3 This weekend Hurricane Irma is going through Flordia. It should reach Georgia by Monday or Tuesday but it should be significantly weaker and a tropical depression by then. At first, I was really nervous and hoping that it wouldn't pass near us but as time went by I knew that I can't do anything to control mother nature except change my perspective of what could happen.

#4 Seeing all the videos of pets being rescued in Hurrican Harvey is gut wrenching. These poor animals were left by their owners! WHO WOULD THAT! If I hear that I need to evacuate the first thing I would do is grab Lucy! This is why some people don't deserve pets!

#5 This week I finished Gravity Falls. I'm so sad! It was only two seasons but it was a very cute show and I can definitely see myself watching it again in the future. The next show on my watchlist is Over The Garden Wall. I've heard nothing but amazing news from this show so my expectations are high.

#6 I went to Micheal's the other day and bought a set of canvas to make more crochet painting with. My plan to make some original designs and post them up in my shop and see how they do. I have a couple ideas but if you guys have any suggestions I'm all ears! I will update you guys on this process as time goes on.

#7 Starbucks released their famous pumpkin spice latte this week and I already had 2! Now I just need to get a pumpkin scone and I'm ready for autumn!

Where I've Been ♥ Expressing My Feelings

Where I've Been
Hello, I'm back! I know I've missed a week of blogging and I am so sorry but I just needed a rest from blogging. This is probably the longest I've missed without posting anything on my blog in a long time! It wasn't that I didn't have any ideas I actually have a whole list of posts but I wasn't in the mood to publish anything. I didn't feel like taking pictures, I didn't feel like sitting down with my laptop and editing and typing, so I took a break.

It's funny though, every time I step down from blogging and feel like quitting is when I get new followers and comments. I even got an email from a company who wants to work with me! I see this as a sign to not give up which is why I've continued to blog all these years.

I'm not going to lie though not getting feedback when I ask for it does mess with my head. I am someone who needs reassurance when it comes to things because I am so indecisive when it comes to anything so when I see no one commenting or communicating back it makes me like what I am doing is a waste of my time and energy. It makes me feel like I should focus my energy on something else.

I know I am not the best when it comes to writing, communicating, or even photography when it comes to blogging. There are so many amazing bloggers out there who are amazing at all those things so why would anyone bother visiting my blog? I've tried to create a blog that represents me as a person. I've gone through various layouts, names changes and content change in the past but I am really happy with all the content that I've recently produced. Every year I feel like I get better with my posts. I remember last year really loving my summer series and this year I think it's even better! I'm happy with how my blog is at the moment but I'm not sure about you guys so I second guess myself and whether I should continue on with blogging.

I don't where I'm going with this post, to be honest. I'm not saying I want to quit blogging actually I felt so empty not blogging this past week so I can't see myself ever quitting. I just wanted to let you guys know where I was in case you were wondering. I also wanted to express my feels because I hold a lot of them in most of the time (I know not healthy at all) so I just wanted to let the few of you that read my blog what I've been feeling.

Starting today I will resume my regular blogging schedule (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday). Tomorrow I will be posting my Weekly Edit, with thoughts and events from both last and this week. I hope you guys enjoy!

Daily Skincare Routine ♥ Summer 2017

Summer Daily Skincare Routine
Recently my skin has been flawless (hopefully I'm not jinxing myself! haha) which is funny because I've been using fewer products than I normally do. So today I am updating you guys on my skincare routine because I said I would try to make a post for every season. I also want to document the products I'm using at this moment so the next time my skin is suffering I can reference this post.

Since I have two different routines I will be separating both routines. This is definitely a long post but I tried to fill it up with as much information as I can. I am a huge skincare enthusiast so hopefuly my skin care knowledge can help some of you guys.

Update: In my mind, I thought my routine was pretty simple because I'm not using as many products but after typing everything I can tell you it's not as short as I thought it was. haha

Summer Daily Skincare Routine
Step 1: Water
First thing I do in the morning is splash cold water on my face to help wake myself up and help blood circulation. I don't use cleansers in the morning just water to wash off any leftover residue from the night before.

Step 2: Mizon Joyful Time Essence
Next, I use the leftover essence from the sheet mask packaging I used the previous night. I don't like to waste product so I make sure I use up every drop of liquid in the package.

*Step 3: Essence - Innisfree Green Tea Balancing Lotion
On days when my skin is feeling dry I will apply some more essence on my face. Sometimes I skip this step though and just move onto moisturizer.

Step 4: Cream - Elizavecca Milky Piggy EGF Retinol Cream
I usually have a am and pm cream but I haven't bought a morning cream so I'm currently using this cream for both morning and night. I will talk more about this cream in the night routine.

*Step 5: Eye Stick - IThe Saem Iceland Hydrating Eye Stick
If my dark circles are really puffy I will use this ice stick to soothe my eye area. Again, I don't this every morning just on days when I think I need it. Also, I keep this eye stick in the refrigerator downstairs and some mornings I just don't feel like going all the way down there so I skip this step. #lazy

Step 6: Eye Cream - Elizavecca Gold CF-Nest White Bomb Eye Cream
Yup, I am still using the same eye cream I've been using my Spring night routine.

Step 7: Sunscreen - Etude House Sunprise Mild Airy Finish Sun Milk
This is the newest addition to my routine. I wanted to try a new sun protectant so I went with this one by Etude House. It's amazing! It's a sun milk so it has a different texture from regular sun creams. It has a light aloe scent and dries to a matte finish. Expect this to be featured in my upcoming beauty favorites.

Summer Daily Skincare Routine
Step 1: Makeup Remover - Skin Food Milk Shake Point Make Up Remover
If I wore makeup that day I will start off my night routine by taking off my makeup with this makeup remover. It's one of those makeup removers that separates so you have to shake the bottle which is why it's called milk shake. haha

Step 2: Cleansing Oil - Kose Softy Mo Facial Cleansing Oil Speedy
After I've removed my makeup the next step is to begin my double cleansing process. First, I start off with a cleansing oil. I'm currently using this Japanese cleansing oil. I bought this because it had some decent reviews but I'm actually not a fan. It's really light and feels like a watered down cleansing oil which I do not like.

Step 3: Cleanser - Philosophy Purity Made Simple Facial Cleanser
For the second cleanser, I use the Purity Made Simple Cleanser. I bought the travel-size because I wasn't sure if this still works with my skin (my skin is so picky!) but it does so I do intend to buy a bigger size when this runs out. This cleanser is gentle and moisturizing so it doesn't leave my face feeling dry after my second cleansing.

Step 4: Toner - Cosrx One Step Pimple Clear Pads
For most of the summer, I used the Cosrx Moisture Up Pads (I went through 2 tubs!) but I decided to go back to the original One Step Clear Pads because I think they work better with my skin type. You can read my review on these here.

Step 5: Mask - Mizon Joyful Time Essence Mask or Freeman Anti-Stress Dead Sea Minerals Clay Mask
As you guys know by now I daily mask which means I use a sheet mask every night (read about my experience here). But on days when I don't feel like waiting an extra 10-20 minutes, I use a clay mask. I've been using the Freeman Anti-Stree Dead Sea Minerals Clay Mask once a week and it's a nice rest to give my skin from sheet masks.

Step 6: Essence - Innisfree Green Tea Balancing Lotion
At the moment I am only using an essence because I haven't had the time to buy an emulsion, serum or ampoule. I bought the Innisfree Green Tea Balancing Lotion back when I had a bunch of products to layer but because it's a great product for layering but now I am just using it alone and it's surprisingly an excellent product on its own. If you are new to the 10-step Korean skin care routine I would recommend this product.

Step 7: Cream - Elizavecca Milky Piggy EGF Retinol Cream
Almost done! The next step in my evening routine is moisturizer/cream. I've been using anti-aging creams to help combat early signs of aging. I've been using this cream by Elizavecca since early Summer so I've been with it for a while. This is one of those creams that you have to wait to see results from and I have! I've noticed my face looks more plump and youthful. It's kind of sticky but that's normal since it's an anti-aging cream and most of those creams contain some type of snail ingredient which tends to be stringy and sticky. If you are looking for an afforded anti-wrinkle cream I suggest this one.

Step 8: Oil - Drunk Elephant Virgin Marula Luxury Facial Oil
After I finished the Drunk Elephant serum I moved onto the facial oil that was in the travel-duo that I bought in the beginning of Summer. I don't normally like using oils but I was curious as to what effects I could get from using this oil so I found another use for it, adding it to my night cream. I mix a drop of this oil in with my cream every night which makes the cream less sticky.

Step 9: Eye Cream - Elizavecca Gold CF-Nest White Bomb Eye Cream
Finally the finishing layer, eye cream! I've gone through countless of tubes of this stuff because I love it so much! You can read my detailed review here.

My Hair Care Essentials ♥ Top 5 Hair Products

Hair Care Essentials
Earlier this summer I posted my hair care routine well today I have something similar, my hair care essentials. A few years ago I wasn't into hair and would use easy tricks to help style and manage my hair but recently I've been more interested in what type of products suit my type of hair. I have black thin curly hair that gets oily really easy. I'm pretty laid back when it comes to my hair and do not like to use too many products so these are my top picks and they all smell amazing!

Hair Care Essentials
Shea Moisture Strengthen + Restore Leave-In Conditioner
I mentioned both of these products from Shea Moisture in my routine so I will lightly go over them. I recently ran out of this leave-in conditioner and let me just say how differently my hair behaved when this product wasn't in my hair. This stuff controls my curls from humidity, reduces frizz, conditions ends, strengthens, nourishes and helps restore your hair from processed and heat damage.

Shea Moisture 10-in-1 Renewal System Hair Masque
Whenever my hair needs an extra pick-me-up I use mask masque. This masque helps tackle 10 hair problems (which you can read on the container) all in one! My hair feels stronger and thicker whenever I use this. For a quick hair rescue, I apply this when I first enter the shower, do my business and then wash off. Same results but just quicker.

Hair Care Essentials
LUSH No Drought Dry Shampoo
On days when my hair looks greasy and bland I apply this on my roots and massage throughout my scalp for a nice fresh lift! This dry shampoo also adds a soft texture, volume and makes your hair smell yummy! Do keep in mind that this isn't the type of dry shampoo you would use on a day you're running late because it requires more time.

Batiste Dry Shampoo
If you need a quick clean up I recommend the Batiste dry shampoos. I've tried many drugstore dry shampoos and this one works the best.

Not Your Mother's Beach Babe Soft Waves Sea Salt Spray
Sea salt sprays are my go-to styling product. I like to spritz this in my hair when I want that beach waves texture. Just make sure not to apply too much because it can dry out your ends.

Weekly Edit #9

Weekly Edit
#1 Welcome to the Sunday edition of the weekly edit! I've always wanted to post one of these on Sunday because nothing really happens to me during on weekdays so the weekends are my highlights and when I have more interesting topics to share (besides this one, lol). Maybe I will start posting these spontaneously just to change things up a bit.

#2 If you haven't guessed already the reason why I didn't post on Friday was that I was playing Splatoon 2! No surprise there! You can expect a review on the game as soon as I finish playing the story mode which should be soon!

#3 In case you were wondering where I got that Splatoon squid, well I made it! If you want to crochet one for yourself the pattern is in this post!

#4 Can you believe there is only one more week left in August? Like I said in my August goals I wanted to have a closet cleanse but I haven't even started! I did clean out some of my drawers but still need to tackle the biggest task, the closet. Hopefully, I can get this done on Tuesday or Wednesday.

#5 Two songs that have been stuck in my head are Gashina by Sunmi and Eye's On Me by Junoflo (feat. G.Soul and Dok2). Both have been on loop nonstop! Eye's On Me is from Show Me The Money 6 which is a Korean rapper competition program. I've actually never watched the show but always listen to the albums because some of the songs are amazing!

#6 I hope you guys aren't annoyed with all the crochet posts I've been posting. I'm not sure whether you guys enjoy reading them or not but I do get more views when I post crochet related content but I would like to know what you guys prefer.

#7 With autumn approaching I want to do something fun like a series or something. I was thinking about participating in Blogtober but I'm not sure if I will be able to post every day in October and then again in December for Blogmas (Yes, I will be doing that again this year!). If any of you have any suggestions as to what I could post in October similar to Blogtober or any type of posts you would like to see in autumn let me know.

Kiki's Delivery Service Sign ♥ Crochet Painting

Kiki's Delivery Service Sign
A couple months ago I was watching Kiki's Delivery Service and was in awe of the bread sign that the bakers make for Kiki for her delivery service. I actually checked online to see if they sell them which they do. However, it's kind of expensive plus the shipping would take a while since most of the sellers are located in Japan. So, I decided to make my own sign!

My original plan was to make a clay version (like the one in this video) but I assumed using clay would be heavy. That's when it hit me, why not crochet a sign? Funny how this wasn't my first idea. I was just going to make the bread sign itself but figured that the yarn would fall if it wasn't held up by something, that's when I realized a crochet painting would be perfect for this project!

Kiki's Delivery Service Sign
I tried to get as much as the details as close to the original sign but obviously, I left out the main detail, Kiki herself! I had planned to make Kiki but the canvas I used isn't that big so I decided to leave her out and just use Jiji. Another feature I decided to leave out was the actual sign. I wanted to extend the painting and make a few chains and crochet a sign but decided against it. This is a permanent idea though so I may make it in the future.

I didn't know which color to use as the background so I checked my yarn stash and went with this reddish/coral color that screams autumn. I've never used this yarn so this was the perfect time to use it.I glued the background to the canvas and then the wreath on top. I didn't want to glue Gigi to the canvas because I wanted him to look as if he were really flying but he's a bit heavy and drags the broom down so I sewed his ears under the bow (on the wreath base). The rest of the details on the wreath are sewn on by hand.

I used colors similar to ones used in the sign in the movie but I did consider just using bread-like shades. I am so proud of how the broom came out. It's so cute! I might make a tutorial on how to make it.

Kiki's Delivery Service Sign

What do you guys think? I love the way it came out but of course, there are things I would change if I were to make a second one. Should I continue to make more painting? I would also like to know which painting you fancy more detailed ones like this one or simpler ones like the one in this post.

Sunglasses Pouch ♥ Crochet Pattern

Sunglasses Pouch Crochet Pattern
You may have noticed that I've been posting more on crocheting lately. In fact, I have another crochet post scheduled to be up later this week! So I hope you enjoy reading or at least looking at my crochet work. I've been crocheting a lot lately so I decided to squeeze in a simple pattern that you can whip up in minutes! Since it's still summer I made a project perfect for summer, a sunglasses sleeve/cozy/pouch!

The pouch itself is really easy to make but the rest may be a bit complicated to understand. If you have any trouble leave a comment and I will try to explain as best as I can.

If you are wondering why the black part of the glasses looks so messy it's because I had a glue accident. Make sure you use a strong glue and be careful when you are gluing everything down!

Sunglasses Pouch Crochet Pattern
You will need:
- Bulky yarn (I used Red Heart Soft Essentials yarn in Biscuit)
- Worsted yarn (I used Red Heart Soft yarn in Minty)
- J/6.00 mm crochet hook
- H/5.00 mm crochet hook
- Scissors (I used two different scissors, one for yarn and the other to cut out the felt)
- Yarn needle
- No-sew glue
- Felt (I used 2 different types of felt a softer one and regular craft felt)

Ch(s) - chain(es)
St(s) - stitch(es)
Slst - slip stitch
Dc - double crochet
Sc - single crochet
Tr - treble (triple) crochet

Sunglasses Pouch Crochet Pattern
Use the larger crochet hook and bulky yarn.
- Ch 21 sts, dc 20 sts. Total = 20 sts
- Ch 1, dc 20 sts (x 14). Total 20 sts
- Cut off, leave long tail for sewing

Sunglasses (make 2)
With smaller hook and worsted yarn create a magic circle, slst, ch 3. In the center of the circle crochet 3 tr. Next 4 dc, ch 1, 1 tr, ch 1, 4 dc, 3 tr, ch3. Slst in the center of the magic circle. Sc around the heart to make it larger. Cut off leave long tails for sewing. Now make another one.

To make the 'ears' of the glasses insert your hook to the 6 st of the right side of one of the hearts. Slst, ch 6. Make 2 sc starting with the 2nd ch from your hook, slst, sc 4, cut off. Repeat on the other heart but on the opposite sides.

Insert your hook on the left side of one of the hearts on the 5 st. Slst, sc 2, turn, ch 1, sc 2, cut off. Using the strand of yarn attach this piece to the opposite side of your other heart piece.

Sunglasses Pouch Crochet Pattern
Using the long yarn tails sew the sunglasses piece on to one of the sides of the sleeve. You will be holding and sewing the pouch later so make sure you line up everything perfectly. Once you have sewn the sunglasses on cut out to black heart shapes out of the heart and glue on top of the hearts.

Sunglasses Pouch Crochet Pattern
Next cut out a large piece of felt (I used a softer felt, like fleece) enough to almost cover the crochet square but make sure to leave some space to sew the pouch together later. Now glue the felt piece on top of the sleeve and lightly press to attach everything. Wait for the glue to dry.

Sunglasses Pouch Crochet Pattern
Sunglasses Pouch Crochet Pattern
Use black colored worsted yarn (or whatever color you prefer) and ch 50, cut off. Tie knots on both ends of the chain. Place down long chain on the top of the top of the crochet piece. Fold the top 2-3 rows of your crochet piece down. You can either sew with the chain underneath or weave the chain through later. Carefully sew down this row leaving enough room for the chain to be able to move within.

Sunglasses Pouch Crochet Pattern
After the glue has dried fold the crochet piece in half and sew using the long tail. Weave in ends and you are finished! You now have an adorable crochet pouch that you can keep in your bag all year long!

It is also a mint cushion which means it was designed to calm redness.

There are three shades to choose from #1 Ivory (19 pure ivory), #2 Beige (21 natural beige) and #3 Sand (#23 healthy sand). I picked shade #2 beige even though I normally picked shade 23 in Korean foundations because sand looked too dark for my skin. Beige was a bit too light for my face but I would rather have a lighter shade than a darker shade because you can always darken a lighter shade with a powder.

There is also a pink ink lasting cushion which is for brightening and a lavender cushion which is for whitening but I went with the mint one because I experience redness when it gets really hot outside so anything to help conceal that is a win-win for me.

My experience
Let's start with the bad things first like the cushion puff. I didn't like the puff. It's too thick and spongy which makes the application kind of uncomfortable at first. I prefer thinner cushion puffs because you can control the foundation better.

The coverage of the cushion is light to medium so blemishes can still be seen it is buildable.though so you will need concealer. My favorite thing about this cushion is the natural finish! The blurring effect hides blemishes and pores making the skin appear smooth, healthy and fresh! This is the perfect daily summer cushion especially if you want a "no makeup look".

After a couple minutes the cushion sets to powdery finish, not completely though. Another thing to keep in mind is that this cushion gets oily throughout the day so if you are looking for a matte cushion this isn't for you.

Now onto the redness. This cushion contains tea tree, peppermint, Centella, and Boswellia these ingredient help whitening, reduce redness, and a soft blurring effect. It did cover the minimal redness that I have on the sides of my cheeks so if you have a little bit of redness and looking for a cushion that can cover that up without layer too much product I would recommend this cushion.
