Korean Skincare Wishlist ♥ September 2016

Korean Skincare Wishlist
I haven't posted a wishlist in a while and since I'm currently obsessed with creating the perfect skincare regime that suits my skin. I thought it would only be appropriate to post an updated Korean skincare wishlist.

If there is one thing that my skin is picky with it's cleaners. I've only found two cleanser that understand my skin but neither of those are by a Korean brand. Every time I look up the best Korean skincare products multiple Cosrx products show up. One of them is the Cosrx Low Ph Good Morning Gel Cleanser. From what I read it's a mild foam cleanser that controls oil, tightens pores and exfoliates the skin. It's great for those with combination or sensitive skin. After I finish my current cleaner I going to buy this.

While we are the subject of cleaners, let's talk about cleansing oils. I'm actually not sure which oil I want to get. The most popular one is the DHC Deep Cleansing Oil but it's also kind of pricey. Other oils I heard are amazing are the ones by Tony Moly and Klairs. I've actually tried the Tony Moly cleansing oil but  don't remember loving ot hating it, but I'm willing to give it another shot.

Let's move on to toners. The toner that I'm currently researching is the Klairs Supple Preparation Facial Toner. I heard this is an amazing product. I love Korean toners because they're moisturizing but also take care of dirt and other residue. Have any of you guys tried this toner?

I'm so close to finishing my Hawaiian Tropic face sunscreen. It was a alright sun cream but I want something more lightweight and easy to blend. Two sunscreens I'm thinking of picking next are the LaF Vita D Sun Cream and the Klairs Mid-day Blue Sun Lotion. Which do you guys think I should get?

So I don't need to buy a new serum because I recently received one in the mail (which I will show in a haul soon). However, I already have another one lined up! The Elizavecca Hell Pore Control Hyaluronic Serum. It' suppose to moisturizes, whitenings, anti-wrinkle and diminish pores (which I have a huge problem with).

Ever since I tried a sample of the Too Cool For School Pumpkin Sleeping Pack I've been meaning to buy it. Since it's the pumpkin season I thought this would be fun to use in autumn and Halloween.

The last two products are both eye related. I've been searching for a new eye cream for a while. There isn't any popular Korean eye creams (that I know of) so I've been going on websites and looking for the most reviewed eye creams. That where I first heard of the Elizavecca Gold CF-Nest White Bomb Eye Cream. The few reviews that I found on this product said it actually worked, despite the cute packaging. It's also pretty affordable so don't be surprise if it shows up in a haul anything soon.

I've almost used up all of the Secret Key Gold Racoony Hydro Gel Eye Patches so it's time for another pack of eye patches. The Koelf seem to be really popular. So I'm thinking about buying the Koelf Ruby Bulgarian Rose Hydro Gel Eye Patch as soon as the Secret Key ones run out.

Any Korean skincare recommendations?

7 Things That Make Me Happy

7 Things That Makes Me Happy
Happy Monday everybody! Monday's are always rough because it's the start of the week and depending on what happens on Monday effects how we view the week ahead of us. So today I wanted to spread how positively by letting you know what 7 things that make me happy. Also, let me know what makes you happy in the comments below and let's have an amazing week!

Coffee
My relationship with coffee has always been positive and whenever I don't have coffee I feel like my day is incomplete.

Drawing/Coloring
Since I was younger drawing has been an escape for me. Even today doodling brings me back to when I was younger when I didn't have anything major to worry about. Coloring is another artist hobby I enjoy. There are tons of those adult coloring books around, if you don't own one I suggest buying one and color your feels away.

My Dog
Whenever I had a rough day at work and come home from work my adorable Pomeranian (Lucy) awaits for me by the door. She instantly greets me with her ears down and hugs my leg.  Sometimes she even motions her paws so that I can pet her, it's the cutest thing! Those few minutes with her literally make me feel happier and I completely forgot about stressful situations.

Music
Who doesn't love music? Listening to music doesn't involve any brain power just your ears. Create a playlist featuring your favorite happy songs, put on your headphones and enjoy your tunes.

Working Out
I'm never in the mood to work out but I feel amazing afterwards! The endorphins give you a happy feeling that puts you in a positive mood. If you don't like working out find another way to get active so that you can feel those positive vibes. I recommend you exercising in the morning so that you can start your day out in a uplifting mood.

Surround Yourself With Things You Enjoy
Some of you may notice a constantly "cute theme" within my blog, beauty products, snapchat, instagram, etc. Cuteness just makes me happy. It may not be everybody's cup of tea but I can't help it! Find whatever it is that makes you happy and surround yourself with it.

Eating Healthy Food
Whenever I eat healthy food that tastes amazing it puts me in a great mood. Not only am I eating something that's good for my body but it actually makes me feel good unlike other food I could be eating. So make an amazing meal that't not only healthy but tastes like an actual meal.

What things makes you happy?

It's Officially Fall ♥ The Weekend Guide #25

The Weekend Guide
It's finally officially autumn! Now we can start buying Halloween decor, drink as many pumpkin spice lattes and buy an unlimited amount of knitted sweaters and cardigans without an excuse! Though it may be autumn it's till hot and humid where I live. If the weather reports are right though it should be in the lower 80s by next week (that's still a little warm for me tho).

Do any of you change your beauty routine depending on weather? For fall I keep most of my routine the same. I wear light pink shades in Spring and Winter. For summer I use tints and for Fall I switch to nudes or dusty rose shades. But experimenting with your makeup is always fun. Who knows I may play around with terracotta or rich berry shades too. As for nails, the new Essie 2016 fall collection is right up my alley. I love all the shades, especially udon  know me and go go geisha. Another color I've been loving is grey nail polish, it's like the nude for fall.

Snapshots From My Room ♥ Mini Room Tour

Snapshots From My Room
Today I thought it would be fun to share some pictures from my bedroom. I don't think I have ever shared pictures from my bedroom before so I thought it would be entertaining for you guys.

Let's start with my pink crochet rug. You will notice I keep a lot of crochet projects in my room. This rug is one of my favorite projects I've made. The pattern is from a Mollie Makes magazine. The burger slippers are from Forever 21.

Snapshots From My Room
Here is a peek at my beauty center. I keep my brushes and my favorite or new lip products on top of my makeup drawers. Let me know if you would like to see a post on my beauty center.
Snapshots From My Room
My Tsum Tsum collection has grown tremendously since my Tsum Tsum collection post. I don't know where I'm going to store future Tsum Tsums once this heart shelf is full. Around the heart I have a pastel crocheted heart garland. On top I have a sundae ice cream scoop hair clip that I made from a Twinkie Chan pattern.

Snapshots From My Room
For those who didn't know I'm a magazine hoarder. I love magazines and one of my dreams is to work for a fashion and/or beauty magazine. Nylon Magazine use to be one my favorite magazines because they were so different from other magazines at the time I discovered them in 2007. Since then they've changed a lot and try to be trendy like every other magazine so I'm not much of a fan nowadays. The pink sequin happy sign is from the Target dollar section.

Snapshots From My Room
It's only been a month since my what's in my bulletin board post so not that much has changed but I have added a few things such as one of my favorite sleep mask, a pinata star and a fortune. The fortune says "Your home is a pleasant place from which you draw happiness" which I couldn't agree more with.

Snapshots From My Room
Here is some more of my crocheted projects. I crocheted these randomly when I was craving doughnuts, my favorite is the panda doughnut inspired from California Donuts. Underneath them is a basket of cotton yarn on top of a Memebox. To the left is a Hello Kitty plush from Chicago my mom gave me from when she went to Chicago a couple months ago. Lastly is the Marshmallow Pop candle from Target I got a couple years ago (I'm a very slow candle burner).

Snapshots From My Room
This is my yarn shelf. As you can tell I have a lot of yarn! When I first started crocheting I would buy new colors every time I went to a craft store so this collection is a pile of colorful skeins from over the years. For those who are curious about the color of my walls its actually a wall color inspired by one of my favorite nail polish, For Audrey by China Glaze.

What interesting things do you keep in your room?

Bonvivant Botanical Pure Mask Packs ♥ Beauty Review

Bonvivant Botanical Pure Mask Packs Review
This review has been in sitting in my drafts section for the longest time. I planned on making a review on the Bonvivant Botanical Mask Packs since I received them in this Memebox haul. However I kept pushing back because honestly all the masks are all pretty similar. There are a few differences among the masks like the type of sheet mask, scent and results. But if you gave me a random mask to try out I probably wouldn't be able to tell it apart.

The Bonvivant Botanical Masks are not the best masks I've tired nor the worst. But I would use them over and over again (and I have) if I didn't have any other sheet mask to use. They are standard sheet masks. One thing I love about these masks is that you can day them in sets such as the 14 Day Kit or a 30 Day Kit. With that said I hope you appreciate this post.

Bonvivant Botanical Pure Mask Packs Review
Bonvivant Pure Mask Pack #Sodium Hyaluronate + Lotus
"The Sodium Hyaluronate + Lotus mask restores tired and dry skin. Lotus Extract moisturizes and protects skin from damaging environmental factors, while Sodium Hyaluronate delivers intense hydratation. The result is re-energized, healthy, and dewy skin. "

The mask is clear (almost translucent). Faint floral scent. After 10-20 minutes my skin feels moisturized, hydrated, looks clear whitened and brightened. This was one of my favorite masks because it really whitening/brightened my skin afterwards.

You can buy the Bonvivant Pure Mask Pack in Sodium Hyaluronate + Lotus here

Bonvivant Botanical Pure Mask Packs Review
Bonvivant Pure Mask Pack #Collagen + Olive
"The Collagen + Olive sheet mask restores dehydrated, tired, and aging skin. Olive Extract delivers Vitamin E deep into skin layers, preventing moisture loss, while Collagen strengthens and nourishes skin, boosting its elasticity and youthfulness."

White sheet mask. Fresh floral scent (Kind of smells like roses). Moisturizing and nourishing. Mask didn't cover my nose properly (all of them masks didn't cover my nose area well).

You can buy the Bonvivant Pure Mask Pack in Collagen + Olive here

Bonvivant Botanical Pure Mask Packs Review
Bonvivant Pure Mask Pack #Chamomile + Tea Tree
"The Chamomile + Tea Tree sheet mask cleans and tightens pores, thanks to Tea Tree Extract that minimizes the appearance of enlarged pores and AHA that exfoliates dead skin cells. Chamomile Extract also calms and soothes the skin, leaving it so fresh and so clean."

The mask was semi-clear (not completely white but not clear either). Didn't cover my nose area well. The scent was flowery and woodsy. Like all of the other masks it was moisturizing and gave my face a healthy glow afterwards.

You can buy the Bonvivant Pure Mask Pack in Chamomile + Tea Tree here

Bonvivant Botanical Pure Mask Packs Review
Bonvivant Pure Mask Pack #Adenosine + Acai
"The Adenosine + Acai sheet mask restores damaged, tired skin. Adenosine re-energizes, whilw Acai Extract delivers rich antioxidants to strengthen skin and protect it from toxins and environmental pollutants."

White sheet mask. Floral scent. This was another favorite! I feel like this mask really brightened and whitened my skin. If you have a dull complexion I would recommend this mask.

You can buy the Bonvivant Pure Mask Pack in Adenosine + Acai here

Bonvivant Botanical Pure Mask Packs Review
Bonvivant Pure Mask Pack #Madecassoside + Mugwort
"The Madecassoside + Mugwort sheet mask restores stressed and sensitive skin. Mugwort tightens and relieves while Madecassoside Extract soothes and protects, leaving your skin more elastic, healthier and firmer."

Semi-clear sheet mask. Floral scent. This was my least favorite mask. I didn't see much of a difference after using this mask. It moisturized my skin but that's about it.

You can buy the Bonvivant Pure Mask Pack in Madecassoside + Mugwort here

Bonvivant Botanical Pure Mask Packs Review
Bonvivant Pure Mask Pack #Niacinamide + Lime
"The Niacinamide + Lime mask restores dull, problematic skin. Lime Extract revitalizes and purifies with its rich dose of Vitamin C, while Niacinamide brightens skin. The results is re-energized skin and a radiant complexion"

Clear sheet mask. Floral scent. Softening, clearing and moisturizing.

Charlotte Russe Drama + Mini Haul ♥ The Weekend Guide #24

The Weekend Guide #24
Sorry for such a late weekend guide post this week. Since I forgot to post on Thursday everything got pushed back a day. I was actually suppose to post this yesterday but I forgot! I didn't want to go a week without a weekly update, better late then never right?

This week the highlight of my week was when I called Charlotte Russe on Twitter. On Monday I tweeted about how Charlotte Russe hadn't shipped my order. I placed my order on 9/5 but never received a shipping conformation email or any other emails from them. I tried messaging them on their online contact thing but never received a response. I even messaged them on instagram but never heard anything back. So I found their twitter and called them out. I even started a discussion with another customer who was dealing with the same problem as me. Which was funny because while I was tweeting with her Charlotte Russe kept on contacting me. Finally I got a email saying my order was shipped on Tuesday. I received my order Friday and everything came and fit perfectly!

I've ordered from Charlotte Russe plenty of other times but since they revamped their website I feel like their customer service has been slacking. Even if I log in to my account I can't view my past orders from them so I can't view my all my information. So until they get their shiz back together I don't think I will be ordering from them anytime soon.

Basically what I'm trying to say is that when a company doesn't respond to you call them out on social media until they respond. I found this really helps get the company's attention because they don't want any negative feedback from their past customers. So call them out and even hast tag the company's name so that all future customers know how they handle problems. This has happen to me plenty other times with another company, like Just Fab.

Obsessed With
Foot exercises
Colourpop lip products
Starbucks pumpkin scones (goes great with a PSL)
Ballet style flats (I wouldn't recommend getting them from Charlotte Russe tho)

Style Savvy: Fashion Forward ♥ Game Review

Style Savvy: Fashion Forward Review
If you followed me on Twitter then you probably know that I've waited for this game to be released in the US for a really really long time. I first heard of this game because I was a fan of Style Savvy: Trendsetters (It was my first 3DS game btw) so when I saw an advertisement for the newest installment of the game I became super excited! However, I noticed that the game was a Japanese releases date. The game seemed so kawaii that I never thought the game would be released in the states so I lost hope early on. However, I regained hope when I heard that the game was going to be released in Europe and Australia (That was in November 2015). Fast forward to late summer we finally got a release date for North America! So after waiting over a year I was finally able to play Style Savvy: Fashion Forward!

Style Savvy: Fashion Forward Review
Style Savvy: Fashion Forward Review
You start the game off as a new resident in town. After you help a few townsfolk with there outfits, makeup and hairstyle you eventually the go-to fashionista and beautician of the city. You then open up your own boutique. As you play and unlock the game you can later become a makeup artist, hairstylist, model, home decorator and of course, run a boutique and dress people up. You can even customize your own clothing! There is so much to do in this game that you will never get bored!

The game is similar to Style Savvy: Trendsetters but Fashion Forward has way more options! They have the same brands as they did in Trendsetters but they have more clothing from each brand and in more colors. Overall, I absolutely adore the game! I played it for 2 weeks straight trying to unlock as much as possible. I've unlocked most of the game but I still need to finish unlocking most of the clothing, the spring and winter colors and a few hairstyles. Other then that I'm not sure what else is in store for me.

There are a few things that annoyed me with the game. First off, the game can be overwhelming at times. I mean you have so many choices! Sometimes when I start the game I don't know what to pick! Even after I pick a job I don't know what style or color I want after that. So if you are indecisive (like me) then this game can become overwhelming after a while. I also didn't like how they changed the fashion show. I love how they manged the fashion show in Style Savvy: Trendsetters because you got to choose the model, pick out her hairstyle, and makeup based on the style. In Fashion Forward you are the model, you choose the style and have to set up what hairstyle and makeup you want beforehand, which I don't like too much. After a while the game does become repetitive after you unlock most of the game, but that's a given with any game.

Favorite Posts From The Summer ♥ Summer Highlights

Since summer is pretty much over and we only have a few weeks left until it's officially autumn I thought it would be fun to take a look back at some of my favorite posts from the summer. In case you missed any of these posts while you were on holiday or vacation here are the highlights. I picked nine non-haul, reviews, weekend guides or unboxing posts that I think you guys will enjoy looking back on.

Favorite Posts From The Summer
COSRX One Step Pimple Clear Pads
The most popular posts this summer were my COSRX pimple pads review. Actually my top two most viewed posts were both beauty reviews (here is the other review). Since trying these pads I've continued to purchase them (I'm almost done with my second container). They're that amazing! I'm actually going to start trying more COSRX products because most of them are best selling and highly recommended products.

I posted this back when I was 70% sure I wanted to become vegan. Honestly, I don't think I will be able to go 100% vegan until I move out of my parent's house because sometimes the food they buy temps me so much. However, I've been really into finding vegan substitutions of most products. Let me know if you would like to see my recent vegan finds. UPDATE, I found out not too long ago that those Go Veggie cheese slices aren't vegan but lactose-free instead so they still contain dairy. I was so pissed off when I found out because Go Veggie has various types of cheese finishes, gluten-free, lactose-free and even vegan

This was my favorite post of the summer, my dream board tour! Since arranging my bulletin board like this I feel so inspired every time I look at it. How To Grow Your Hair ♥ Scalp Growth Routine

Scalp Growth Routine
My hair falls out all the time to the point where it was effecting my self confidence. But this year I made it one of my goals to start focusing on how I can regrow my hair. I tried plenty of anti-fallout and regrowth hair products but most of them were just a waste of money. Finally after trying tons of beauty products I was finally able to find a routine that works for me. I mentioned both of these products in my August beauty favorites but today I will be talking about them in more detail. Let me know if you guys would like to see a full hair routine post.

Scalp Growth Routine
Scalp Growth Routine
Shea Moisture 100% Pure Baobab Oil
"A multi-tasking oil, rich in reparative omegas 3, 6, 9 and vitamins. Helps nourish the hair follicle, scalp and skin to strengthen and support elasticity. Unlock the potent benefits of exotic oils. Pressed from the seeds of the Baobab tree, indigenous to Africa, 100% pure Baobab Oil nourishes hair follicles and imparts suppleness to strands. Delivers long-lasting moisture that helps support skin's elasticity."

The first product in my scalp growth routine is the Shea Moisture 100% Pure Baobab Oil. I use this 2 times a week, on days when I wash my hair. I massage the oil focusing on my section roots and use whatever I have leftover to coat the rest of my hair. After I applied the oil I wait 30 minutes to an hour for the oil to sink in and then wash it out in the shower. I've noticed when I use this oil my hair doesn't fall out as much. It's a lightweight oil that nourishes my scalp and doesn't leave my hair greasy or oily like other oils I've used before. With that said, it's not as hydrating or moisturizing as other oils (like coconut oil). If you are looking for an oil that helps fight and minimize hair fallout then this is the oil for you.

This is my first bottle of the Shea Moisture Baobab Oil. I used this oil 2-3 times a week and it lasted almost 2 months. I plan on purchasing another bottle of baobab oil and combining it with castor oil to create one epic oil.

Scalp Growth Routine
OGX Fight Fallout Niacin + Caffeine Root Stimulator Spray
"Help rejuvenate roots that are prone to excessive breakage. This invigorating spray helps stimulate the hair follicles and scalp with niacin and caffeine, alpha hydroxy acid, and natural DHT blockers. For best results, use with niacin + caffeine shampoo and conditioner. "

This is part two of my scalp routine. I spray this root stimulator all over my root section and massage. I use this every night and have been using it every night for the past two months (this is my second bottle). The directions say to apply twice a day, which I did in the beginning but stopped doing it because it wasn't convenient for me. Out of the two products I would say this is what really helped me grow out my hair. After 2 weeks of using this I noticed a huge difference in my scalp.

The product is a water-like spray that encourages healthy scalp growth and prevent hair fallout caused by breakage. The only thing that bothers me about this product is the smell. It smells like a mixture of medicine and peppermint and it's strong. However, I put up with the disgusting smell because this spray is effective! I've tried the matching shampoo and conditioner before but stop using it because I couldn't stand the smell (all the products smell the same). I am using another shampoo and conditioner from OGX though and I am loving the results so far.
