Ultru I'm Sorry For My Skin Jelly Masks ♥ Beauty Review

Ultru I'm Sorry For My Skin Jelly Masks Review
Earlier this month I bought the Snack and Mask Memebox which included the Ultru I'm Sorry For My Skin Jelly Masks. These s masks are unlike other sheet masks because they use a jelly essence to hydrate the mask. I first heard about these masks through a Korean Youtuber and since that review I've wanted to try them. Today I will be reviewing all four masks and whether they lived up to the hype or not.

Ultru I'm Sorry For My Skin Jelly Masks Review
Description
"Ultrue's I'm sorry for my skin's jelly essence contains AMF, which is a specialized moisturizing agent that resembles skin's natural moisturizing agents. It also contains our desert blend, a mixture of extracts from plants that survive in extremely dry climates. The essence helps skin maintain a healthy oil-moisture balance. This helps the skin maintain it's optimum condition for a long period of time. It also helps the skin build a stronger protective barrier against dry weather conditions so that it holds onto its moisture."

"Smooths and relaxes your skin by relieving the sensitive areas irritated by environmental impurities. This super fine sheet mask is formulated as a detox mask and is soaked in jelly form essence. Using Ultrue's patented water wrap technology, this mask's desert plant extract provides 120+ hours of hydration."

Ultru I'm Sorry For My Skin Jelly Masks Review
Pros
- Cute packaging
- Generous amount of leftover essence
- Brightening
- Hydrating
- Moisturizing
- Softens

Cons
- Hard to find (If I can find them they usually cost more then an average sheet mask)

My Experience
I honestly didn't notice a difference with each mask. They all seemed to work the same. With that said, I love how these masks made my skin feel! After each use my skin felt super hydrated, moisturized and soft! I especially love how much leftover jelly essence there was. I had enough to reapply the next morning and night!

So far you can only find these masks on a few websites. Since I bought these from Memebox hopefully they will decide to carry the I'm Sorry For My Skin Jelly Masks individually or in sets.

Getting Glasses ♥ The Weekend Guide #21

The Weekend Guide
It's finally the weekend! This week I received my new pair of glasses. When I was younger I was suppose to wear glasses but I never wore them because I hated the way I looked in them so I didn't wearing them. I went years without wearing glasses but this year my eye sight has gotten significantly worse (especially my night sight) so I decided to get my eyes examined. Fast forward this week and my new frames arrived. They are these black glasses with half of the bottom frames cleared out. I still hate the way I look with glasses on but I will put that aside because I do think that being able to see is more important then looks.

In other news, I've been obsessed with Style Savvy Fashion Forward nonstop since last weekend. I have been waiting for this game to release for forever and now I can't put it down! I am the type of gamer that wants to unlock everything as soon as possible, and if you've played the game you know that there is so many clothes, shops, furniture, hairstyles, color, makeup, etc to unlock so I will be spending a long time with this game. Review coming soon!

Korean Beauty Patches ♥ Beauty Review

Korean Beauty Patches Reviews
As you guys know that I use sheet masks daily. But every so often I like to test out patches to that help with other areas of my face and body. I've been collecting patches for a while so that I can write a quick mini review on each mask. I received all these in past Memebox orders and today I will be review each one. All of them are under $3 and all currently available on Memebox.

Korean Beauty Patches Reviews
Tosowoong Help Me Neck Patch
"The neck is one part of our body which is usually overlooked in terms of skincare. This results to appearances of unwanted spots and wrinkles that makes the skin look old. Now, you can kiss these worries away with Help Me Neck Patch from Tosowoong. This neck patch has Adiposlim as its key component which is an active ingredient that effectively firms the skin and restores its smooth and soft texture. This neck patch also contains several premium organic ingredients such as Quinoa and Berry extracts that provide rich nourishment to the skin. This helps maintain moisture and prevent early signs of aging. This neck patch is highly recommended for people suffering from loose, sagging skin, dry skin and dull skin."

My Experience
The texture of this mask is a gel-like patch, similar to under eye patches. You are suppose to apply this to the front of the neck but I applied it to my back instead because the back of my neck is really dry compared to the front of my neck. After about 20-30 minutes I took the patch off. I felt a difference

Would I recommend?
I still don't understand the point of neck patches. But if you need one I guess this one held up pretty well.

Mediheal E.G.T. Timetox Gel Smile-Line Patch
"Mediheal's EGT Timetox Ampoule Mask gives the effect of fillers and botox in which it firms and lifts the skin to improve its texture. It transforms dull and wrinkled skin to smooth and sft skin with its premium blend of natural herbs extracts, EGF and peptides. These ingredients promote skin elasitcity by strengthening and firming skin tissues. This ampoule mask is free from harsh ingredients and is therefore safe and suitable for people who suffer from sensitive and aggravated skin."

My Experience
This comes with two traslucent patches that you apply on your smile-line area. My honestly thought these would be sliding everywhere but it was the complete opposite! The patches stayed on thought the whole application ! Not once did they slip off!

Would I recommend?
Yes

Korean Beauty Patches Review
Wish Formula The Bat Eye Mask
"A nourishing skincare patch infused with rich natural ingredients that improve skin firmness and texture that results to smooth, soft and youthful skin. It features Vitamin C, Adenosine, Centella Asiatica and Fermented Honey to provide exceptional anti-aging effects that are mostly prominent on the Bat Eye zone. This gives an instant soothing sensation while fully nourishing the skin from deep within for a more relaxing skin treatment. It also supplies a rich amount of moisture to keep the skin well-hydrated while also brightening the skin tone for a more even and healthier complexion."

My Experience
The mask was black and felt like a regular charcoal mask. i centered the bat and let in soak into my face for 20 minutes. Afterwards I saw no difference though. It didn't brighten or take any puffiness away. I barely noticed a different in skin texture. Maybe it made my skin soft, maybe it didn't. Either way it wasn't rememberable.

Would I recommend this?
It wasn't effective, so no.

Memebox Haul ♥ Candy O' Lady + Glam Fox

Memebox Haul
Another week, another Memebox haul! Yes, I'm still obsessed with Memebox. The reason I continue to order from Memebox over and over again is because they offer a variety of Korean beauty products and they have quick shipping. Last week, while I was browsing the site I discovered a few new brands that I never seen before, one called Candy O' Lady. They have the cutest candy inspired products! Of course I had to buy some of their products. The other brand I never heard is Glam Fox, which I bought a cream from. I couldn't find any reviews on any of these products but decided to take a chance on them.

Memebox Haul
Candy O' Lady is a skincare brand inspired by sweets. They have products such as candy ball cleansing balls, sweet smelling sugary mists, chewy jelly cleaner and even candy sheet masks! Like I said, I never heard of this brand before but was immediately drawn in because of the sweet packaging.

Memebox Haul
This wasn't the first time I've seen cleanser balls. However, it is my first time seeing them packaged as candy balls! This is honestly a brilliant idea! Which is why I decided to buy this. I probably wouldn't have bought this if it wasn't packaged in a candy ball machine. The kit comes with the machine and two containers of cleanser balls (both of them fit perfectly in the machine). Whenever you need a ball you simply turn the lever and ta-da! Add lukewarm water and crush the ball within your hands. Create a lather and massage on your face and then rinse.

Memebox Haul
Candy O' Lady also had some delicious looking sheet masks. As you guys know I collect sheet masks because I wear them daily so I decided to buy these. The pack comes with 7 masks for everyday of the week. What's unique about these masks is that the packaging is half the size of a regular mask. Btw, I'm totally saying the 'little witch candy mask' for Halloween!

Memebox Haul
Memebox Haul
Last but not least is this Glam Fox sherbet cream. This cream contains fresh natural ingredients that help exfoliate dead skin, clean pores, soothe irritations and hydrate skin. It also contains micro aqua capsules and glacial water which instantly cools down the skin and lock in moisture. Since I'm still battling the redness on my cheeks I hope this cream can calm it and cool down my face. Plus, the packaging looks like those mini ice cream containers!

Another Sneak Peak ♥ The Weekend Guide #20

The Weekend Guide
Happy Friday everyone! I'm back with another sneak peak! A couple weeks ago I shared the first pinata I made but this time I tweaked a few things. This time I made the pinata a lot smaller (about the size of a hand stretched out). I also added details to the center of the pinata. I honestly didn't know how I would do the center at first but after trying and failing many times I finally figured it out! I was planning on sewing the details around at first but it would take to long if I did so I will just be gluing it on instead. I'm really happy with how it came out. What do you guys think?

This weekend I plan on crocheting 2-3 more pinatas but in different color schemes. I'm also going to start my second project that I plan on posting in my shop. I'm really excited to start this project but first I need to go supply shopping!

Secret Key Gold Racoony Hydro Gel Eye + Spot Patch ♥ Beauty Review

Secret Key Gold Racoony Hydro Gel Eye + Spot Patch Review
My sleep schedule has been off for about two weeks now. I usually don't go to bed until 4-6 am and that means my eyes are dark and puffy because of lack of sleep. Since I don't want to look like a panda (or in this case a raccoon) I've been using these Secret Key Gold Racoony Hydro Gel Eye and Spot Patch to make my under eyes appear somewhat awake. I bought these back in June so that I could bring them along on holiday, because I knew I would be tired everyday (and I was). How did they perform? Keep reading to find out!

Secret Key Gold Racoony Hydro Gel Eye + Spot Patch Review

Secret Key Gold Racoony Hydro Gel Eye + Spot Patch Review
Description
"No more tired skin! No more frequent pimples! With Gold Racoony, brighten, tighten, and soothe your exhausted skin!"

Pros
- Cooling
- Soothing
- Hydrating
- Reduces puffiness
- Brightening
- Absorbs fast
- Comes with spatula
- Cute packaging
- Affordable
- Multipurpose
- Recyclable
- Environment-friendly

Cons
- Slippery
- Packaging leaks
- Doesn't reduce darkness

My Experience
The packaging was the first thing that drew me to this product. Plus, it was from Secret Key and I never had a Secret Key product disappoint me so I bought it. What's really cool about these patches is that they're recyclable! After using the patches place the eye patches into hot water and leave the patches in there until they dissolve into an essence. Apply the essence all over your face.

You are suppose to use these after your cleanse your face but I use these in the morning (when I don't cleanse my face) instead. I don't really think it makes a difference if you cleanse or not. I keep the eye patches on under my eyes for 15-30 minutes. They feel really cold and slippery (sometimes they slide down to my cheek). Afterwards, my under eyes are hydrated, bright and are puff-free! As you can tell by the photos I don't use the spot patches often because I don't get pimples anymore (thank you sheet masks!) so I can't tell you if those work or not but I love the eye gels!

My only complaint with these eye gels are that they are slippery. But after 5 minutes they start to stick. Two, they don't reduce darkness but at least they reduce puffiness. Last but not least, the packaging. Maybe I got a defective packaging? On the side where the lid meets the bottom some of the "eye juice" leaks through. Kind of annoying but I just wipe away the essence with a damp towel.

What's On My Bulletin Board ♥ Mood/Dream Board Tour

What's On My Bulletin Board
Over the weekend I tided up my room. I threw away lots of junk that I had been hoarding for a while (like boxes and paperwork). One of the sections that I really wanted to rearrange was my bulletin board. I wanted to create a mood/dream board so that I can feel inspired by it every time I see it, There is a little bit of everything on the board like inspirational quotes, cute prints, thank you notes and past crochet goods held up by pins and washi tape. The whole mood of my board is to be creative and inspired for my Etsy shop. I really want to reopen it before the end of the year so I'm hoping that this will kick my butt into working harder!

What's On My Bulletin Board
On the left side of my board I have an inspirational print that I received in one of my past Happy Mail. I also have a mini comic I made for my Etsy shop. Looking back at it now it's really bad quality and you can tell it's made by an amateur but it brings back many memories. I also have a MooeyAndFriends business card pinned and a few thank you notes in the center of my board.

What's On My Bulletin Board
This is the right side of my board. I have lots of random stuff pinned on this side. I have more thank you notes, cute tags (I couldn't see myself throwing them away), a Sharodactyl Art business, a Russian doll card, another Happy Mail card and a crocheted cow badge I made. I also have an empty 'Places We've been' (also from Happy Mail) I intend to use this to keep track of my packages when I reopen my shop so please support it!

What's On My Bulletin Board
Remember the pinata that talk about in my past weekend guide? Well I decided to add it to my dream board for inspiration. I love it when I see boards that are 3 dimensional because they loo really cool pinned on mood/dream boards.

What's On My Bulletin Board
I wanted to add more cute cards but didn't have any more space left on my bulletin board. I've seen people attach photos on their walls with washi tape so I decided to stick some on. The two cards on the left are from my older sister. I also posted another thank you note, Twinkie Chan's 'Sugar On Top' booklet which contains a lot of unique crochet stitches and a crocheted pig bracelet I made a long time ago.

Do you keep a mood/dream board?

August 2016 Birchbox Unboxing
"Autumn may be just around the corner, but who says summer has to end?" This month Birchbox filled the box with beauty treats to help carry on that summery feeling into fall. Again, I decided to pick the featured box instead of choosing my regular Birchbox and sample choice. I was really excited when I saw coconut oil-infused makeup wipes, a autumn colored liquid lipstick and a packet of a green superfood powder. Let's take a look at what else is in my August Birchbox.

Crocheting Again ♥ The Weekend Guide #19

The Weekend Guide
Another Friday has arrived! This week I've been busy crocheting new projects. One of my new year's resolutions this year was to open up my Etsy shop again. I have so many ideas drawn out on paper but now the tricky part comes, creating them!

What motivated me to start working hard at my shop is actaully Instagram Stories. Can you believe it? I follow a lot of Etsy sellers on Instagram and a lot of them have been sharing behind the scenes pictures and videos of their work. These handmade shops really inspired me to work on my shop more. One of the shops that I discovered recently that inspired me was Momomints. It's a really cute Canadian based shop that sells crochet goods and other accessories. The whole shop is really cute and it's basically what I want my shop to be.

Weekend To Do List
Clean out closet
Tidy up desk area
Finish load of laundry
Go grocery shopping
Deposit money
Go to the eye clinic
Continue working on crochet projects

Mexico Photo Diary ♥ Summer 2016

Mexico Photo Diary
Since summer is winding down I wanted to share some of the photos I took whilst in Mexico. I stayed in Michoacan, Mexico in Morelia, the capital of Michoacan. I didn't take too many scenery shots just random stuff like coffee and Lucy being silly (yes we brought Lucy with us to Mexico). I took the most pictures of Lucy in my grandma's house but didn't add all of them because I didn't want to spam you guys with Lucy pictures. Anyways, I hope you enjoy my Mexico photo diary!

Mexico Photo Diary
Here is a statue we found in a park. I don't know who it is.

Mexico Photo Diary
This is a grand cathedral in the center of downtown Morelia. Once upon a time, my parents got married here. Sorry for the blurriness!

Mexico Photo Diary
Lucy in the car. Notice the tongue.

Mexico Photo Diary
One of the first things we did when we arrived to Mexico was try out their cookies and cream and churro frappuccinos! Both tasted amazing! I hope they bring these flavors to the US one day!

Soya meat on the top (wasn't the best fake meat I've tasted in Mexico). On the bottom is gluten-free dairy-free milks in powder form.

This was the my sister's cake from her quinceanera.  It had six cakes and even a fountain!

Here is a close up of the fountain.

There was this cute doughnut shop near this Starbucks so we had to get some! I got a pink sprinkle doughnut and it was taste soooooo delicious! The M&M doughnut was my sister's.

Mexico Photo Diary
We found this really cute shop with clothing and accessories. I fell in love with the illustration of a traditional Mexico doll that was on the wall.

Mexico Photo Diary
At the store they had these adorable piggy banks dressed in traditional Mexican garments. I really wanted one but they were expensive.

Where did you go this summer?
