Lime Crime Unicorn Lipsticks ♥ Beauty Review

Lime Crime Unicorn Lipsticks Review
Ever since I laid eye's on the Lime Crime Unicorn lipsticks I wanted them. But back when they were released I couldn't afford them and didn't like lipsticks Fast forward to this year and they are discounting them! I know the whole debacle with Lime Crime but I'm still disappointed with their decision. I mean these lipsticks are what made Lime Crime famous and know they want to get rid of them? I'm hoping this isn't permanent and that they plan on bringing them back!

However, there is some good news following this announcement, unicorn lipsticks are on sale! Yup, I scored Coquette and Great Pink Planet for more then 1/2 of their original price (I got Great Pink Planet for free because I ordered on Unicorn Day!). If you always wanted to own one of these lipsticks I highly recommend just going out and purchasing it asap! Some of the shades are already sold out and who knows how many are left until they're all gone!

Lime Crime Unicorn Lipsticks Review
Pros
- Beautiful colors
- Pigmented
- Vegan
- Cruelty free
- Lovely vanilla scent
- Cute packaging
- Affordable (They're on sale right now!)

Cons
- Hard to apply
-Drying
- Settles into lip lines
- Not long lasting
- Being discontinued

My Experience
This wasn't the absolute best lipstick I've used. It was hard to apply in the beginning but within a few seconds the lipstick started melting on my lips. They were also really drying and even settled into my lip lines! If you are looking for a long lasting lipsticks then sadly these aren't for you.

But the colors are unique and highly pigmented! Even Coquette showed up perfectly and it's suppose to be a pale pink nude! Also the packaging is insanely adorable! I wish I would have bought some of the other colors earlier because I also wanted Cosmopop, Babette, Geradium and D'lilac!

Would I repurchase?
In a heartbeat!

Babysitting Adventures ♥ The Weekend Guide #10

The Weekend Guide #10
This week I agreed to watch my uncle's girlfriend 7 years old daughter for the next few weeks. I started babysitting her on Tuesday and she wore me out! Since then I've been completely exhausted! I didn't know she would be such a handful! Don't get me wrong she behaves really well but she's really active. She doesn't even nap! She arrives at around 7 am and doesn't leave until 4-6 pm and doesn't even nap once! I let her watch movies, go outside and play but nothing seems to work! At least next week I will have my younger sister helping me take care of her. She officially started her summer vacation today.

Meanwhile, I've been battling my sleep schedule. It all started last week when I stayed up past 2am. Last night I didn't sleep until 7am! I was going to try to catch up on my sleep next week because I was suppose to be on summer break, However, I may actually have to work after all. So I need to catch up this weekend. If any of you have any sleep tips, please let me know!

Any babysitting tips?

Summer & Spring Nail Colors ♥ China Glaze Haul

China Glaze Haul
A couple of weeks ago Sally's Beauty was having a buy 2 get 1 free offer. I decided to take advantage of this deal and stocked up on some new Summer and Spring nail colors from China Glaze. I love China Glaze's because their colors are really unique. I'm really a fan of their nail polish formula though. If not, properly applied the color can come out streaky. So really focus when painting your nails.

China Glaze Haul
(Left to right) Highlight of my Summer, Lotus Begin, and Rainbow
These are the cool colored shades. My favorite color from the bunch is Highlight of my Summer. It's a bright neon mint green color. Lotus Begin is a cream lavender polish. You guys know how I feel about pastel purple colors. So of course I had to get it! Rainbow is a interesting iridescent polish. It's a sheer milky nail polish that contains tiny pink/purple shimmers. I love layering it over other nail colors when I don't feel like wearing a cream nail colors.

China Glaze Haul
(Left to right) Flip Flop Fantasy, Spring in my Step and Shocking Pink
Here are the warm tone shades. Flip Flop Fantasy is a coral neon, perfect for summer! It looks really orange in pictures but in person it's more of a pink coral color. The lightest color I bought was Spring in my Step. It's a light pastel pink nail lacquer that looks lovely. This is my second time buying Shocking Pink. It's the most obnoxious opaque hot pink I've seen! I think it's one of China Glaze's most popular summer nail polishes.

May Birchbox ♥ Monthly Subscription

May Birchbox Unboxing
"Let's take this party outside, shall we?" That's the theme for this month's Birchbox. This month every subscriber received a product containing SPF. To keep you looking radiant on all your summer adventures! Keds and Birchbox partnered together to create this month's box design, which I love! It reminds me of random paint swatches. Like, when you can't decide what color to paint your bedroom so you swatch every paint on your wall.

May Birchbox Unboxing
I loved 3 out of 5 of the samples I received. The monthly sample I chose this month was the self  tanning lotion. When I was younger I tried many tanning lotions and sprays. But I never found one that didn't make me look awkwardly orange. Hopefully, this lotion will give me a healthy glow. I'm also excited to use the miracle pads. These are the most expensive item from the box yet they're the smallest!

I wasn't thrilled to receive another Cargo product because I hate their packaging! It's so difficult to open! I've received a few of Cargo samples in previous Birchboxes but never use them because I can't open them! I enjoy getting COOLA products in my box, however this time my bottle came with like 40% of primer. I've swatched it already and love how easily it blends into the skin! I just wish I would've gotten more product in the container.

Marvel Movie Week ♥ The Weekend Guide #9

The Weekend Guide #9
First, off I want to apologize for the lack of blog posts this week. I will resume my regular posting schedule next week. Posting Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. I'm currently taking a break on my Sunday posts because I haven't really been using my planner that much. I still plan but I just don't decorate it as much as I previously did. I will probably start using it again after summer ends. If you guys have any ideas of another post I could post on Sunday let me know! I was thinking maybe I could start posting bullet journal pages? What do you guys think?

This week was also my older sister's birthday. One thing you should know about my sis is that she is huge nerd/geek. She loves Star Wars, video games and comic books. So for her birthday I bought her a BB-8 coffee mug, a Kylo Ren Funko Pop Figure and Deadpool. Speaking of Deadpool the amount of Marvel movies I've seen in the past week is ridiculous! It all started off with Captain America 3: Civil War, which we watched last Friday. I've only seen the first Captain America movie but I'm pretty sure my sister is going to make me watch the second one after she reads this post (I've also never seen any Iron Man movies! hehe). Then we watched Ant Man and Deadpool. Out of all the movies my favorite was Captain America 3. The film was way to long in my opinion but my favorite part was the epic battle seen with all the Avengers. My least favorite was Deadpool, it was funny at parts but the story was pretty boring. Ant Man was surprisingly better then I thought it would be, I would recommend it.

Obsessed With
Nature Box Snacks (They started selling some at Target!)
Tony Moly Backstage Eyeliner

Worth Watching

Memebox Haul ♥ Cosrx, Etude House & Bonvivant

Memebox Haul
My Memebox order arrived earlier today so I took out my camera urgently, snapped some pictures so I could use these products asap! I placed this order on Sunday, it was shipped on Tuesday and it arrived Thursday. This is why I love Memebox because their packages arrive within week. Usually whenever I order Korean beauty products it takes weeks (sometimes months) to arrive. So if you are interested in Kbeauty but don't want to wait check out Memebox!

Cosrx One Step Pimple Clear Pads
I just featured the Cosrx Pimple Clear Pads in my previous post. I bought these hoping that they will cure my current skin dilemma. I watched Hanbyul's video on how she cleared her acne and she said that these pads solved all her skin problems! Hopefully, they live up to there name and clear my pimples in one step. I'm still not sure how to use them yet but I will update you guys if they work or not.

Etude House My Beauty Tool Secret Brush 121 Skin
This was also on one of my Korean beauty wishlist a couple of months. I've been seeing a lot of these spoon brushes flying around in the beauty world. When I saw the Etude House Secret Brush on Memebox I immediately added to my cart! You apply your foundation on your face and sweep the brush in a circular motion across your face to evenly apply the foundation flawlessly. It also comes with a sponge brush, which you use to set the foundation.

Korean Beauty Wishlist #5 ♥ Holika Holika, Etude House, Etc.

Korean Beauty Wishlist #5
Hi guys! Sorry for not posting! I honestly do not have any proper excuse as to why, so I'm sorry. I haven't posted a Korean beauty wishlist in a while so today I'm sharing what Kbeauty items I'm currently interested in buying.

First off, the Holika Holika x Gudetama collaboration! When I saw this online I screamed! Gudetama is one of my favorite Sanrio characters so to see him on Korean beauty products makes me incredibly ecstatic! The collection offers a variety of products but my favorite hands down are the Holika Holika x Gudetama Cushions! I've been stalking online Kbeauty sites but I've only found one site where they currently sell them. However, they do not have any in my shade*cries*. Since the collection is still new (it was just released a few days ago!) I will just have to wait until they stock some more websites with the collection.

Etude House has also released some new items I've been crushing on. Their newest is the Etude House Play Color Eyes Ice Van Palette is the perfect summer palette. The palette comes with 10 eye shadows and is inspired by the sweetness of ice cream. Speaking of food, look at that Bubble Tea Sleeping Pack! This is one of the cutest products that Etude House has released in a while. There are they boba like moisture capsule bubbles that you mix with the sleeping pack and apply onto the face, leave on overnight and wash off the following morning. Other items I would like are the Pink Cherry Blossom All Over Spray and Moisture Collagen Water Jelly Cream.

Other Korean beauty needs include; the Beyond Alice In Blooming Snow Cushion, Missha x Line Friends All Around Safe Sunblock and the Cosrx One Step Pimple Clear Pads. I actually already bought the Cosrx pimple pads and waiting for them to arrive. Theses pads are suppose to help eliminate blackheads, unclog pores and clear up existing pimples. A lot of Korean beauty bloggers swear by these pads so I've decided to give them a chance. Hopefully they will save my skin from it's misery.

What beauty products are on your wishlist?

So Stressed Out ♥ The Weekend Guide #8

The Weekend Guide #8
Happy weekend everyone! I hope you guys had a better week then I did. This week completely stressed me out! I forgot to skip on my JustFab and Fabletics accounts so I was charged $40 from each company. However I managed to get a refund from Fabletics. JustFab on the other hand JustSUCKS! I've been going back-and-forth with them via email and twitter but I think I'm just going to have to call them, which I've been dreading. So yeah, they've been the main stress factor of mine this week.

Another thing I've been stressing about is my trip to Mexico that I will be going in about a month. Now I know what you're thinking, you're going to a resort paradise! Ummm, no. I'm going go to visit my grandmas in Mexico and actually live there for two weeks! We went last year and I honestly hated everything. Her house is pretty small and at one point there were 11 people staying at her house! We would also visit my dad's family a lot and have small gatherings that last hours! And I'm not the most social person in the world. So the entire time I was there I was depressed. I hated it and really do not want to go back this year. But I have to. Especially since we are going to throw my younger sister's quinceanera. Which means more parties and me in the corner crying. Sorry this post turned into a slight rant post. I know I should be grateful that I can travel to Mexico and stuff. But I can name hundreds of reasons why I really do not want to go to Mexico. I'm not looking forward to my trip there at all!

What are you doing this summer?

My Beauty Diary Collagen Firming Mask ♥ Beauty Review

My Beauty Diary Collagen Firming Mask Beauty Review
A few days ago I posted about my experience using sheet masks daily. Now today I am reviewing one of the sheet masks I've been using for the past few weeks. I've tried many My Beauty Diary masks before but today I'm reviewing the Collagen Firming Mask.

My Beauty Diary Collagen Firming Mask Beauty Review
My Beauty Diary Collagen Firming Mask Beauty Review
My Beauty Diary Collagen Firming Mask Beauty Review
Product description
"Firming and Rejuvenating; Renewing and Brightening! Collagen-enriched sheet mask makes use of hydrolyzed marine elastin to plump up skin cells for a firmer and tighter facial contour. Ginseng extract refreshes and relaxes stressed skin, white green algae extract provides continuous hydration, helping skin stay soft and smooth all day. Recommended for aging skin marked with a dull and lackluster tone."

Pros
- Brightening
- Moisturizing
- Hydrating
- Firming
- Affordable
- Adheres well to the skin
- Comes with a lot of excess essence

Cons
- You have to leave this mask on for a long time

My Experience
I've used 6 of the 10 masks in the box so far but immediately fell in love with this mask after using this mask just once! The first time I used this mask my face gained an instant glow! Not only that but my skin was also super hydrated and moisturized! I also did feel my skin tighten and firm up a bit. One of my favorite things about this mask though is how much leftover essence you get in one packet, like 1/3 of the packet contains leftover essence! I  store the packet with a paperclip and use the remaining essence in the morning and the following night. So make sure not to throw away that packet!

The only downside with this mask is that it takes about 25-30 for the mask to start drying up. So because of that I only use this mask on days when I don't mind staying up an extra 30 minutes.

Would I repurchase?
Yes! My Beauty Diary Sheet Masks are amazing! I've never tried one that wasn't amazing but this one blew me away!

One-A-Day Sheet Mask ♥ My Daily Mask Experience

My Daily Mask Experience
Today marks a two month since I started using a sheet mask every single day! I started this habit back in March because many Asian actresses/idols swear by wearing sheet masks daily. I've always wanted to try this so I bought a few masks online and have been finishing my day with a mask every night since then. Throughout this experience I've discovered many advantages and a few disadvantages about using sheet masks daily.

No Pimples!!!
Yes you heard me! Once I started using sheet masks everyday I noticed a significant decrease in pimples. In fact, I do not even remember the last time I had a giant red pimple that lasted for days! Sometimes I would feel (sometimes see) a pimple start forming but the next morning after I used my mask it would magically disappear or decrease in size to the point where you can't even see it!

Moisturized Face
My face has never felt so moisturized in my life! Using sheet masks daily has really helped make my skin stay hydrated. Before I had dry patches on my chin but thanks to the sheet mask my skin feels and looks moisturized!

New Favorites
Since starting this challenge I've discovered many new sheet masks that have become my new favorites! You may have noticed quite a few sheet masks in my past monthly beauty favorites. This is because I've tried so many different type of masks that I wouldn't have tried if I wasn't on this challenge.

Pricey?
Before I started using sheet masks daily one of my fears was the cost. But honestly, if you buy in bulk via Ebay or Amazon it's not as pricey as it seems. I bought a Tony Moly sheet mask set of 11 for $13 on Ebay, which is a pretty amazing deal! So, if you want to start using sheet masks everyday then I would recommend buying at least two-to-three week's worth of sheet mask to start off.

Time Consuming
One of the biggest struggles with this challenge is the time. Especially, on days when I work and have to workout at night! I also wait until most of the sheet mask has dried up before I remove my masks so that's extra time I could be sleeping. But after using sheet masks for two months I have gotten use to this routine and it doesn't really bother me as much as it used to. I simply apply on a mask watch a show or a few videos on Youtube, remove, pat in remaining essence and finish with my skincare regime.

My Daily Mask Experience
How often do you use masks?

NYX Lip Lingerie Liquid Lipsticks ♥ Beauty Review

NYX Lip Lingerie Liquid Lipsticks Beauty Review
Liquid lipsticks are the newest beauty trend that's hit the states. It looks like every beauty brand is coming out with their own version of a liquid lipstick. But it's the NYX Lip Lingerie Liquid Lipsticks that caught my eyes. Their color section is also very trendy because they're all nudes. This is my first time seeing a beauty brand come out with a whole range of nude lip colors. At first glance I didn't like any of the colors because I thought they all looked too similar. But after looking at many swatches online I started falling in love with every color! Today I will be reviewing a few of the NYX Lip Lingeries that I've tried.

NYX Lip Lingerie Liquid Lipsticks Beauty Review
NYX Lip Lingerie Liquid Lipsticks Beauty Review
Teddy's is actually my younger sister's. But I stole it for blog photos! Hehehe ;)

NYX Lip Lingerie Liquid Lipsticks Beauty Review
Product description
"Slip into something seductive with NYX Cosmetics' Lip Lingerie Liquid Lipstick, a weightless liquid lipstick with a plush matte finish. Available in a range of color-kissed nudes, each sultry shade will coat the curves of your lips with irresistibly creamy color."

Pros
- Really pigmented
- Long lasting
- Affordable
- Unique color selection

Cons
- Super drying
- Not true to color
- Hard to take off
- Sticky

My Experience
I've been using these liquid lipsticks for a couple weeks now. I absolutely adore the colors! I don't own any nude lip colors in my makeup collection. I tend to gravitate towards warm-toned pinks and corals. But these nude liquid lipsticks have replaced my coral pinks! My favorite lip lingerie is hands down, Satin Ribbon. It's one of the lightest shade, described as a nude beige.

The liquid lipsticks are highly pigmented. One swipe and you get a perfect coating of color! No mater how pigmented your natural lip color is the lip lingerie shows on your lips. They are also really long lasting! I had lunch while wearing one of the colors and it stayed on til I finished my whole meal! One tube cost about $7-8 but you get a lot of product in each tube!

Despite the lovely colors there are a few cons to these liquid lipsticks. First, they're incredibly drying! To the point where you can see the cracks on your lips! They are also sticky. On days when it's really windy, my hair gets caught all over my lips which sucks! Also, the colors on the bottle don't really match up with the actual lip colors. When I first saw the swatches online it was really hard to tell what color matched the tubes. I had to look at hundreds of swatches online before I could make up my mind on which colors I wanted. Lastly, they are super hard to remove! The first day I swatched these on my lips I couldn't remove the first color from my lips! I tried every makeup remover I had but couldn't!

Would I repurchase?
Yes, I would repurchase more colors. I want to get Baby Doll, Lace Detail and possibly Embellishment?
