Fast Food Theme ♥ Weekly Planner Spread

Fast Food Theme Planner Spread
So today I am finally sharing one of my planner spread with you guys! If you guys really enjoy these planner spread layouts let me know! I'm thinking of posting these every Sunday as a weekly post but only if you guys are interested.

This is my spread for the last week on January! I'm pretty excited for next week because on the Happy Planner they have the months divide into colors and January's color was a dark blue. I'm not a fan of this blue color because in the weekly calendar the weekends are colored in this grayish blue color that tones down my spread, it gets on my nerves! Thankfully, next month we get a light pink so that will brighter up my spreads more (I'm not looking forward to April though). Anyways, this week I really wanted to use this washi tape with burgers and fries that I got from Target, so I made this week a fast food themed spread!

Fast Food Theme Planner Spread
So here is my weekly layout. I started buy applying the fast food washi on the bottom of my spread. Next, I used yellow thin washi to cover up the morning, afternoon and evening boxes. I also used some red and white stripe washi that I had left over from Christmas to add more red to the spread. On the side bar I keep two strips of washi to divide lists. This week I wrote down things that I'm expecting in the mail and my shopping list. I usually switch up the lists depending on what's going on that week.

Fast Food Theme Planner Spread
On the top boxes, I either add a check list and write in my daily chores or I draw in a picture on days that I don't have much to do and/or work. In the middle boxes I write in my blog post I am posting for that day. For days that I don't have a blog post to post I write in activities that I want to do that day. In the bottom boxes I write in my Blogilates work outs. I use to have the Blogilates app on my phone but got rid of it because I hate having too many apps on my phone. Now I just write them in my planner to track the days when I workout or not (this wasn't a good workout week).

Fast Food Theme Planner Spread
Here is the right side of this week's spread. I put a weekend banner on the top of Saturday and Sunday. I see a lot of planners keep their weekend banner in the middle but I kind of like at the top better. I have a lot of these peppermint weekend banners left over from December so they may make an appearance in my future spreads. Hehe!

L'Oreal True Match Lumi Cushion ♥ Beauty Review

L'Oreal True Match Lumi Cushion Review
When I heard that L'Oreal came out with a cushion foundation I had to go find it! This is one of the first drugstore cushion to come out in the states. As most of you know I am a cushion fanatic! I love how easy apply a cushion is and it's travel friendly. Honestly, I wasn't expecting too much from this cushion because Korean cushions are truly amazing. So how does a western cushion compete? Let's find out!

For those of you who aren't familiar with cushion foundations let me explain. A cushion is a compact that contains a sponge puff and a foundation that is similar to a bb cream. You use the sponge puff to apply the "foundation" to give you a natural finish, similar to a beauty blender finish. The sponge alone is what have made these incredibly popular in South Korean (where they originated from). Most cushions in general give you a dewy look. So don't bother buying any type of cushion (unless it's matte) if you are just going to apply on powder because the formula is created for a glowly dewy skin finish. If you do not like the appearance of dewy skin then cushions aren't for you.

Product description
"L'Oreal's True Match Lumi Cushion Foundation is their first liquid foundation in a cushion that provides a fresh, luminous look in just one tap. Using the puff applicator, tap makeup onto skin and layer for perfectly customizable coverage."

Pros
- Comes in many shades and undertones (12 shades total)
- Same price as most Korean cushions
- Simple sleek portable packaging
- Light to medium coverage
- Buildable
- Easy to apply
- Blends well
- Luminous finish
- Dewy skin glow

Cons
- Wouldn't work on oily skin
- No SPF
- No refill

My Experience
There is a total of 12 different shades with three skin undertones including warm, neutral and cool. Which alone is quite impressive! Most Korean cushions come in 2-3 shades so those with darker skin never could really use cushions, until now!

The coverage is light but it's buildable so you can apply on 1-2 more layers to create a medium coverage. You get a very luminous finish that slowing progressives throughout the day making you even more dewy looking. If you have oily skin I wouldn't recommend this. My younger sister who has oily skin used the same cushion and she said that it made her really oily after a couple of hours. I have oily/combination skin and it worked fine on me.

Now onto the downsides of this cushion, First off, no SPF! Most cushions contain SPF so not having SPF in this cushion bothered me. I wear sunscreen everyday but having a little bit of more protection never hurt. Next, no refill? So if you are familiar to Korean cushions then you know that the bottom of the cushion (the foundation part) usually comes off easily so you can discard the old foundation once you finish it and buy a refill (which is a few dollar cheaper). This cushion didn't have that. So if you want to purchase this product again you are going to have to buy the whole compact again for the same price.

Like I said before I wasn't expecting this cushion to impress me but I was presently surprised! However, there is room for improvement. L'Oreal can come out with a regular cushion for those who aren't a fan of the luminous lumi series. They can add SPF, sell refills and extra cushion puffs in the future. Overall, it's pretty darn good cushion and I would recommend to those with dry, normal and combination skin types.

Would I repurchase?
Yes!

Quick + Easy Everyday Look ♥ Makeup Tutorial

Quick + Easy EverydayMakeup Tutorial
Hello guys! So today I have a different type of post for you all today. It's a makeup tutorial! I've always wanted to do a makeup tutorial and share what makeup I use daily basis and a tutorial is the best way to showcase that! For this tutorial I'm sharing my favorite Korean makeup products that have changed my makeup process. This look is simple and takes less then 10 minutes to do! You can wear this for school or everyday errands. Since it does use a lot of Korean beauty products you can say it's somewhat Korean inspired.

Quick + Easy EverydayMakeup Tutorial
The first step is to apply your morning skincare. Skincare is really important! Even if you are running super late make sure you moisturize and protect your skin with a sunscreen! You will thank me later!

If I know I'm going to be out for long time I apply a primer. My current favorite is the Maybelline Baby Skin Instant Pore Eraser. For foundation I use a cushion. I adore cushions because they are compacted and portable and literally only take a few minutes to apply! I highly recommend the Lalavesi Akma Cushion because it has a medium coverage so it can cover a few blemishes yet you still look very natural.

Quick + Easy EverydayMakeup Tutorial
Now on to eyes, I start by prepping my lids with the Etude House Proof 10 Eye Primer and then I fill in my eyebrows with the Etude House Drawing Eye Brow. After the primer has set I add a bit of color to my lids with the Etude House Bling Bling Eye Stick. I absolutely love this eye stick because it's easy to apply and blend with, has sparkles, comes in tons of colors and it's really affordable. Next, I draw in my eyeliner. My favorite eyeliner is the Tony Moly Backstage Gel Eye Liner, it's glides on effortlessly and it comes with a brush included so you can touch your liner anywhere! Finish with your favorite mascara and then it's time for the lips!

Quick + Easy EverydayMakeup Tutorial
Lastly, I use a lip tint. I like lip tints because they are easy to apply, stay on for hours and naturally fade. I have various lip tints but I really like the Peripera Tint Water because you can build up the color to whatever shade you want. You can also use this tint as a blush if you want. Just add two or three drops of the tint and blend immediately! Apply the tint to your lips and you have finished your look!

Oh So Fawn Mystery Bundle ♥ Stationary Haul

Oh So Fawn Mystery Bundle
Oh So Fawn is a really cute sticker shop based in Florida run by Abby. She hand draws the stickers herself and they're so cute! I've always wanted to purchase from her shop but never have before until now! She was selling a few mystery bundles in her shop so I felt like it was the perfect excuse to finally buy from her shop! The mystery bundles contain 7-8 sheets of stickers at a reduce price because they're not "perfect" stickers and may have been cut or printed wrong. I love buying these packs because they're a complete steal and you never know what type of stickers you may get!

Oh So Fawn Mystery Bundle
Everything came package so cutely! The stickers arrived in a pastel pink bubble mailer! Tucked inside was a green polka dot bag with the stickers in a clear bag, they were double packages so they arrived extremely safe and secure.

Oh So Fawn Mystery Bundle
The first stickers I saw were these Valentine's Day countdown stickers! I was going to buy some of these for Valentine's Day from another seller but not anymore because these are precious.

Oh So Fawn Mystery Bundle
These are all the stickers I received in my bundle. Honestly, I was kind of bummed when I saw that I got mostly holiday themed stickers. They are all super cute but this means I have to wait until October to start using these stickers. I think I can get away with using the fawn and tree stickers but the rest of them will have to wait.

Nature Republic Super Aqua Max Moisture Watery Cream ♥ Beauty Review

Nature Republic Super Aqua Max Moisture Watery Cream Review
I'm going to be reviewing the Nature Republic Super Aqua Max Moisture Watery Cream today. There are three different versions of this cream one for dry skin, oily skin and combination skin. I've tried the combination cream before and really loved it so I decided to try the one for oily skin. Let's get on to the review!

Nature Republic Super Aqua Max Moisture Watery Cream Review

Nature Republic Super Aqua Max Moisture Watery Cream Review
Product Description
"Moist up your skin with a feeling of refreshment. Cooling moisturizing cream that has hydration storage effect without sticky texture. Formulated with 30 kinds of pure maritime plants, delivering immediate hydrated purification."

Pros
- Cooling
- Perfect for dailyw
- Affordable
- Sturdy packaging
- Comes with a spatula

Cons
- Overpowering scent
- Didn't hydrate my skin enough at night
- No SPF

My Experience
The first time I applied this cream onto my face I was punched in the face with the strong scent of men's cologne. This immediately turned my away from this cream but I decided to stick with it to the end. The texture is a light watery gel-like cream that has a slight cooling effect, but that could be because it was December while I was using this cream. The cream did a pretty decent job at moisturizing my face throughout the day. However, it was not hydrating enough to work as a night for me. I would wake up with dry patches on my chin because of lack of moisture.

If you want to use something similar but without the scent then I recommend the same cream but the green packaging, the one for combination skin.

Would I repurchase?
No. The scent is just too much for me to handle!

Top 6 Nail Polishes ♥ Favorites + Most Worn

Top 6 Nail Polishes
I'm a huge nail polish addict! I paint my nails a different color every week and out of hundreds of nail polishes in my collection I apparently only use six frequently. These are the nail polishes that I've been actively wearing over and over again for the past couple of months. Today I am showing you my top 6 most worn nail polishes that also happen to be my favorite 6 nail polishes.

Top 6 Nail Polishes
I tend to like bright vivid color and soft baby pastel colors with a cream finish. As for fomula, most nail polishes tend to have a different formula based on the finish but I found that Essie and Color Club are my favorites. I especially love the brush of the Color Club nail polishes because they are thick and easier to apply on the nails.

Top 6 Nail Polishes
Essie Blossom Dandy + Peak Show + Virgin Snow
You've probably seen these three lovely pastel nail polishes before because they were previously featured in my favorite winter nail polishes. I wore these three probably the most in winter, especially Peak Show and Virgin Snow! I love how soft and delicate these colors look on cold harsh winter days.

Top 6 Nail Polishes
Color Club Diggin the Dancing Queen  + Blue Ming
These two are my two favorite "soft-hued neons". They're not complete neon but I wouldn't classify them as pastel either so they're in middle. They are both by Color Club but the one of the left is the new packaging.

Top 6 Nail Polishes
China Glaze Treble Maker
Last we have the odd ball of the group but for whatever reason I just adore this color! It's a bright neon green that screams summer! But of course I have been wearing this since late summer up until early winter. I even dedicated a whole blog post to this nail polish!

3 Old Favorites ♥ Rediscoveries

3 Old Favorites
I love to try out new beauty products and discover new favorites but sometimes some products are straight disappointment after disappointment! Whenever this happens I go back to my trusty holy grail favorites and say "why did I ever leave you in the first place!". Today I'm revisiting three of my favorite products that I haven't used in years!

3 Old Favorites
I stopped using this a year ago, maybe two years? After I ran out of this I decided to use the Miss Jessie's Pillow Soft Curls and that lasted me a whole year! I just recently ran out of it last month and decided to use this Got2b Smooth Operator Leave-In Conditioner Lustre Lotion again. I remember this as the product that reduce the amount of frizz and baby hairs, it also has an amazingly yummy scent!

3 Old Favorites
I was cleaning my makeup drawers when I saw this BB cream by Maybelline. It had very little product left in but it didn't expire until March 2016 so I went ahead and used it one day and now I'm obsessed with it! I used this almost everyday in 2014 but stopped using it after I started playing around with cushions.

It has a light to medium coverage but that perfectly covers all my blemished spots. It's also light which is important to me in a everyday BB cream because I hate feeling suffocated when wearing makeup. Once I'm finished with this tube I'm going to go out and buy a new bottle asap!

3 Old Favorites
Technically, I never stopped using this I just had a hard time finding it and that;s because they repackage it! I've probably bought this mask 5 or more times, that's how amazing this mask it! It's a green mask that smells like mint and makes your skin feel smooth like a baby's bottom! After using this my skin feels refreshed, extra clean and soft! I also use this as a spot corrector sometimes to get rid of pesky pimples and blemishes in a flash.

What beauty products can't you live without?

Animal Crossing Amiibo Festival ♥ Game Review

Animal Crossing Amiibo Festival Game Review
I've been a fan of Animal Crossing since the beginning, aka the Game Cube days. So of course I had to get the newest Animal Crossing installment, Amiibo Festival. First off, let me say that this isn't like standard Animal Crossing games such as New Leaf, City Folk, Wild World and the original. It's a spin-off with the same lovable characters and quirkiness from previous Animal Crossing games.

Animal Crossing Amiibo Festival Game Review
Animal Crossing Amiibo Festival is a virtual board game (similar to Mario Party) set in a town like the ones you create in the regular game. You can customize said town by adding whatever villagers and public works you want.  When you get bored of the board game you can go to the plaza and play one of the eight mini games that's also included. The games are simple but they do require Amiibo cards to play. My favorite mini game is Desert Island Escape!

Animal Crossing Amiibo Festival Game Review
The bundle comes with three exclusive Amiibo cards, included are Stitches, Rosie and Goldie. To play the mini games you need to use one of these Amiibo cards. The Happy Home Designer Amiibo cards are also compatible with this game! You can also use these cards to add villagers to your town. So this means you can choose whatever villagers to play with!

Animal Crossing Amiibo Festival Game Review
For this game you need at least one Amiibo figure to start the game so if you buy this game make sure you have one figure. I recommend you buying the bundle that comes with Isabelle and Digby so you can at least play with someone else. There is also many other Amiibo figures that you can collectand play with like Lottie, Tom Nook, KK Slider, etc.

Animal Crossing Amiibo Festival Game Review
If your a true fan of the Animal Crossing series I would recommend this game! If you are looking for an original Animal Crossing game then go elsewhere because this isn't your typical Animal Crossing game.

You do need Amiibo cards and Amiibo figures but if you buy the bundle then you don't need to continue buying all the Animal Crossing merch. However, if you already own most Amiibo cards and figures and do not have Amiibo Festival then go buy it! This game allows you to use those cards and fugures that are probably going to collect dust on your shelf. Overall, I adore this game! It's really cute and I would highly recommend if you love easily going games.
