Goodbye 2015 ♥ 2015 Playlist

Today's my last blog post in 2015! In a few hours it will be a new year, 2016! A completely new untouched year. Have you made your New Year's resolutions yet? Did you accomplish all your goals you made last year? I will talk about my goals for 2016 in a future post.

As for today, it's time for my annual kpop playlist. I handpicked 15 of my favorite songs that came out in the year of 2015. It was so hard to pick just 15 songs because there was so many amazing songs that were released this year. To make things fair I decided that I can't repeat an artist more then once. I don't know how I narrowed it down but somehow I did. I hope you enjoy!

December Happy Mail ♥ Monthly Subscription

December Happy Mail
Welcome to my last Happy Mail post, ever! Yes, I've decided to cancel my Happy Mail Subscription. For the past ten months I've collected many cute cards but I've collected enough cards to last me a lifetime so I decided that it was best for me to stop receiving them. One of my New Year's resolution is to save up money too so ending this service will also help my wallet. I hope you guys enjoyed this series of post! Let's look at what was in my last Happy Mail.

December Happy Mail
Here are all the cards (minus a birthday card that I gave to my mother on her birthday). My favorites this month are the honey bears and milk shake card. So cute!

December Happy Mail
There were also two sheets of stickers and a long paint brush card. I love the pink envolope that came paired with the card.

December Happy Mail
Also in the Happy Mail envolope were these "to" and "from" gift tags. You can hold punch the sides of these and attach them with string to a gift.

December Happy Mail
This month's print is a "This is my Year" print on a gold painted paper.

December Birchbox ♥ Monthly Subscription

December Birchbox Unboxing
Can you believe this is my last Birchbox of this year? I've now been subscribed to Birchbox for 4 years! I have unsubscribed twice in those 4 years but I always went back. I have found many amazing products that I probably wouldn't have found by myself. It's also one of the first monthly subscriptions that I remember ever hearing about. Nowadays there seems to be a monthly subscription for everything, but Birchbox is still only $10 a month. Even though not every box is a winner I still believe in the company and I'm proud to have stayed for this long. Anyways, let's cut the chitchat and see what I received in my box this month.

December Birchbox Unboxing
List of products

December Birchbox Unboxing
Juara Coconut Illipe Hand and Nail Balm Full-size, $20
This fast-absorbing, long-lasting moisturizing balm hydrates, firms, and plumps hands and improves nails and cuticles.

I've actually been looking for a hand cream specifically for my cuticles so I'm really excited to try this out! It's also coconut scented, coconut is one of my favorite type of smells!

December Birchbox Unboxing
Malin+Goetz Clarifying Clay Mask Full-size, 48
This exfoliating clay mask treats oiliness and pesky blemishes - all in less than 10 minutes a week.

This sounds very intriguing! A clay mask that exfoliates and treats blemishes at the same time? I currently have a large pimple on my cheek so I'm going to try this tonight and see if it can diminish my blemish.

December Birchbox Unboxing
Serge Normant Dream Big Instant Volumizing Spray Full-size, $25
This formula lets you get the effortlessly tousled hair look - full of volume and worthy of any occasion.

I've tried this already and I after spraying it in my roots I did notice a "face lift" in my hair.

December Birchbox Unboxing
Coastal Scents styleEYES Eyeshadow Palette - glamourEYES Full-size, $12
A bold, beautiful eye shadow palette in gemstone-inspired hues.

I usually never use these mini eye shadow/blush palettes that I get in my Birchbox because I always forget where I put them. If I don't misplace this duo then I will use the shadows as an eyeliner.

December Birchbox Unboxing
Jane Iredale Just Kissed Lip and Cheek Stain - Forever Peach Full-size, $25
This multitasking, long-lasting color adjusts to your skin for a pretty, customized shade.

When I tried this I was disappointed. This is suppose to be one of those "mood ring" lipsticks that changes color depending on your mood but this was a huge let down. Once applied I didn't notice any change on my lips. It was basically just a clear coating that sat on my lips. If you are looking for a color changing lipstick I recommend the one by Peripera, that one actually works!

What's in My Bag ♥ Winter Edition

What's in My Bag
I'm back with another What's in my bag post! I said in my previous what's in my bag post that I would update you guys with these posts by season because I frequently change the contents in my bag. I know I missed the fall edition but I will try to remember next fall! I change out my bag depending on what I'm wearing daily but my most worn bag at the moment is my new Betsey Johnson pancake purse. Today I'm showing you what I currently have tucked away in my bag as of winter 2015.

What's in My Bag
Starting from the left, I have a tube of Esfolio hand cream dressed in some adorable cow packaging, some heart sunnies from Forever 21, Ariul Spa Water 24 hours Moisturizing Refreshing Mist, a cute doughnut kitty pouch from Skinnydip London, some hand sanitizer and my phone that is wearing my DIY phone case.

What's in My Bag
I change out my makeup products depending on what I'm wearing that day. This is what I had on the day I took these pictures. At the far left I have my Etude House Dear Darling Tint, I've been using this tint for a few weeks now and I really love it! Next to the tint I have the Etude House Tear Drop Liner and the Tony Moly Backstage Gel Eyeliner in black. My newest product in my bag is the Tony Moly Perfume Stick in the scent Pom Pom Green Tea, it's smells fresh and clean! Lastly, I have my cake batter Chapstick, Benefit Posie Balm and my trusty Lalavesi Akma Cushion.

What's in My Bag
Inside my doughnut kitty pouch I have some oil-absorbing sheets, earbuds and some eye drops. My eyes get really watery in winter so I keep these in my bag just in case.

What's in My Bag
Do you change your bag and bag items by season?

Day 354-360 ♥ 365 Challenge

Day 354: It was my mom's birthday on Monday so my sister made her a yule log cake with mini mushroom meringues. It turned out really cute and delicious!

Day 355: When you realize that your dog is a mermaid.

Day 356: The 12 days of DIY is over! Can you believe it? I'm really sad but so relieve that I don't have to worry about coming up with any more projects. I will be continuing with blogmas but at soon as January arrives I will be back to my regular blogging schedule (a new post everyday, except on Wednesday and Saturday) Until next year 12 days of DIY!

Day 357: My presents ready for my family to open! Fun fact, I always wrap the gifts I give in Hello Kitty wrapping paper.

Day 358: After opening Lucy's gifts we put all her gifts in this bag and she sat next to it! So cute!

Day 359: One of my favorite gifts!

Day 360: I saw this gingerbread cookie at Starbucks for the first time and had to buy it. It's not as good as the snowman sugar cookie but still pretty yummy!

How was your week/weekend?

What I Got For Christmas ♥ Blogmas

What I Got For Christmas
I hope that you all had a Merry Christmas! If you don't celebrate Christmas I hope you had a wonderful day yesterday. I wasn't sure whether or not to make this post but I asked you guys on twitter and you guys said yes so I decided to post what I received on Christmas yesterday. I was pretty surprised with everything that my family got for me. I'm usually pretty good at guessing what I get but this year I didn't even try guessing but I got some pretty amazing things and I am completely grateful of everything that I received.

What I Got For Christmas
My older sister got me Amiibo Festival and the Lottie Amiibo figure! I am so happy! As you guys know I really wanted this game and now I actually have it! I've played it a few times already and it so too adorable! If I had to pick one game to describe me it would be this game!

What I Got For Christmas
My older sister knits me at least one gift every year. This year she knitted me this beret in this gorgeous grayish purple color. When I tried this hat on I completely fell in love with it! It's the perfect fit and whatever yarn or stitch she used to make this hat made it fit perfectly! She also gave me this adorable Baymax card, she knows how much I love me some Baymax!

What I Got For Christmas
Lucy (with the help of my sister) bought me a few Tsum Tsums. She got me Winnie the Pooh, the white rabbit from Alice And Wonderland and Ham from Toy Story! I didn't have any of these so I'm excited to add them to my Tsum Tsum collection!

What I Got For Christmas
My younger sister bought me the Too Faced Chocolate Bar eye shadow palette! I wanted this palette for a while and I'm so happy to finally have it! I haven't had an eye shadow palette like this since my first Naked palette but now I can finally throw that old thing away and use this one.

What I Got For Christmas
I was probably most surprised with what my mother got me for Christmas. Since my knows I'm a huge coffee addict she bought me this cute PINK shirt that says "Prime Coffee Time". I actually wanted this shirt ever since I saw it on the PINK website, so I was pretty surprised to see this gift! She also gave me a perfume and the Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon! I was also really shocked to receive this from my mom. She's not the biggest fan of me playing video games but since it's Christmas she probably gave in. I've played it once since opening the game and so far it's really cute!

My dad bought my sister's and I a PS4 (not pictured). For the past few years now my dad has bought us a family present (last year was an Xbox) and this year he got us a PS4. He actually scored one up on Black Friday but we weren't able to open it until Christmas yesterday. We are not sure what games to get yet. You guys can probably tell what type of games I'm into by now. So, f any of you have any game recommendations for the PS4 please let me know!

What I Got For Christmas
Here are some of the things that were hidden in my stocking. A coal cookie that my older sister made, a Tony Moly Hello Bunny perfume stick, a Minnie Tsum Tsum Lip Smacker lip balm, a My Beauty Diary sheet mask and a sleeping Eevee plush! I bought my sister's these cute Pokemon Center plushies and had to get the Eevee plush for myself! The plushies are super cute and you can stack them on top of each other, kind of like Tsum Tsums!

What I Got For Christmas
This is a gift to myself but I already used it a few times. I bought this cute Betsey Johnson pancake mix purse during their Black Friday sale and it's probably one of my favorite purchases I've bought in a long time! It's the perfect size for me and the design is so cute! The hardest part is trying to coordinate an outfit to match the bag.

The Christmas Tag + Playlist ♥ Blogmas

The Christmas Tag + Playlist
Merry Christmas! I hope you are all having a wonderful Christmas and got what you asked for. Today I'm sharing a playlist filled with all my favorite Christmas songs and as a Christmas bonus I'm also posting another tag that I saw on Emma's blog. I loved how this tag contains some Christmas questions unlike the winterlicious tag. So grad yourself a cup of hot cocoa and enjoy!

1. What's your favorite Christmas movie(s)?
Elf and Jingle All The Way.

2. Do you open presents on Christmas eve or morning?
We use to open them Christmas Eve but a few years ago we changed it to Christmas morning.

3. Do you have a favorite Christmas memory?
We once spent Christmas at Orlando and went to Disney World. We stayed in a beautiful condo where we could see the fireworks at night, built a gingerbread house and opened presents! Even thought we didn't get that many presents the whole trip went pretty much perfect and I loved that Christmas so much.

4. Favorite festive food?
My mom sometimes makes these rolled up sandwich bites on Christmas (she didn't make them this year) but they are probably one of my favorite Christmas appetizer. It's pretty easy to make and you can add whatever you want inside.

5. Favorite Christmas gift?
This year my favorite gift is Amiibo Festival and the Lottie Amiibo figure. My older sister bought them for me and I can't wait to play with them!

6. Favorite Christmas scent?
Anything that smells like baked sugar cookies!

7. Do you have any Christmas eve traditions?
We invite my aunts and uncles to come over and have a Mexican feast. At midnight we hug and say Merry Christmas to each other.

8. What tops your tree?
On our main tree is a golden angel. On my mini tree is a $3 sliver star that I bought at Target.

9. As a kid, what was the one (crazy, wild, extravagant) gift you always asked for but never received?
One of those huge Barbie houses. the ones that look like a bookshelf. I got a few Barbie houses when I was younger but I never got that one.

10. What's the best part of Christmas for you?
When everybody opens the gifts that I bought them.

Now onto the playlist! I'm not that type of person who blasts out cheesy Christmas music all month long but I don't mind listening to some Christmas music on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Listen to this playlist if you just chilling out at home playing with your new Christmas gifts! Enjoy!

Winter Nail Polishes + NOTD ♥ Blogmas

Winter Nail Polishes + NOTD
Merry Christmas Eve! I thought it was time to update you guys on my favorite winter nail polishes. This winter I've been wearing lots of pastel colors on my finger nails. Lots of pastel nail polishes from Essie! For whatever reason I've been buying a lot of Essie nail polishes lately. Anyways, let's take a closer look at the eight nail colors I picked as my favorite winter nail polishes.

Winter Nail Polishes + NOTD
Half of the colors I picked are cream pastel and the other half are glittery sparkly colors. Whenever I think about winter colors I think of soft colors with accents of sparkle.

Winter Nail Polishes + NOTD
On the left side: Zoya's Gaia and Essie's Virgin Snow, Beyond Cozy and Blossom Dandy.
On the right side: Essie's Mint Candy Apple, Set In Stones and Peak Show and Zoya's Trixie.

Winter Nail Polishes + NOTD
As a bonus, I included a notd! I used to post so many nail of the day photos all the time but then I ruined my nails with acrylics and have barely posted any notd pictures at all! Hopefully I will be able to post some in 2016!

When I found out what the Pantone colors for 2016 I just had to create a ombre nail look out of the colors! I think Peak Show and Virgin Snow look exactly like Rose Quartz and Serenity so I used those colors to create this nail design. I'm wearing Essie's Peak Show all over my nails. To create the gradient look I used a makeup sponge and painted Essie's Virgin Snow on the tip of the sponge. Then I dabbed the sponge over my nails, this creates a ombre look. Lastly, finish with a clear top coat and you are done!
