Korean Beauty Haul ♥ Etude House

As you guys know I am a big fan of Korean beauty products. A few weeks ago one of my favorite Korean cosmetic/skincare brands Etude House was having an amazing offer of 15% off their entire website (this discount is still active if you checkout using Paypal) along with free shipping over orders $30. So I decided to place an order and try out a few items that I've been meaning to test. Of course I had to share what I got with you all because Etude House is known for their adorable packaging!

This was my first time ordering from the global Etude House website. It took about 3 weeks for my package to arrive and everything came in packed in a cute Etude House box. The products came with bubble wrap around them but the eyeliner box still got smashed.

Etude House was also having a crazy sheet mask sale so I picked up a few and the packaging on the masks are so cute!

From Etude House I also got the Play 101 Eyeliner Pencil in black, Dear My Wish Lips Talk in BE101, Precious Mineral Any Cushion, My Castle Hand Cream in Pink Wish, and My Beauty Tool Cotton Puffs. I've been really wanting to try these products for a long time so I'm excited to try these products out!

Here are what the products look like outside of the boxes. I bought the Dear My Wish Lips Talk lipstick because they had a offer going around that if you buy one Dear My Wish lipstick you would get a mini size Real Art Cleansing Oil but I never got one which disappointed me because I only bought the lipstick to get the free deluxe sample.

Let me know if you want me to review any of these products.

Glowing Skin ♥ Favorite Primers

Now that the colder weather has arrived I've been making sure that I properly layer my beauty products. A new layer that I usually skip out on that I'm currently using are primers/make up bases. You usually use primers to make your make up stick on your face for much longer but I've been using tinted primers and applying them before and after to get a warmer glow to my face so that my face doesn't look pale and flat.

Revlon Photoready Skinlights: Technically this is a face illuminator but I mainly use it as a base. It's a neutral colored liquid that gives you a natural glowing complexion. This is a perfect product if you want to achieve the dewy look.

Etude House 8-in-1 CC Cream: This is a very light cc cream that makes me look very pale so instead of just slathering this on my face as it is I apply it on before (or sometimes after) my bb cream. Doing this really brightens my face and doesn't make me look like a ghost.

Lioele Blooming Shimmer Pearl Base: This is actually what it says it's a shimmery pearlescent base. I apply this after my bb cream and concealer because it does have the tendency to rub off quickly. Out of the three this is my favorite because I love the blush colored glow that illuminates my face.

What's your favorite primer/make up base?

Book Review ♥ Rookie Yearbook Three

Rookie is a online magazine devoted to younger teenage girls founded by Tavi Gevinson. Every year they come out with yearbooks so this year I decided to get their latest "issue" because I've always been intrigued by these rookie yearbooks. The yearbook itself features a variety of articles (some that contain personalized playlists), interviews, advice, DIYs, and more written by various voices including some celebrities like Lorde, Sia, Dakota and Elle Fanning and more. My favorite part of this book is that it involves pictures of real girls of all sizes and colors being real teenage girls.

Below I posted a few of my favorite pages/articles from Rookie Yearbook Three. I definitely recommend you guys to check this book out it contains a lot of content and inspiration! If you have a younger daughter who's in middle or high school then I think one of these books would be a wonderful gift like of Christmas or something. Oh and did I mention the book comes with stickers and lots of other fun extras! Who doesn't love stickers?

You can pick up a copy of Rookie Yearbook here

Have you read any of the past Rookie Yearbooks?

Beauty Review ♥ It's Skin Babyface BB Cream in Silky

Last week I received a package from RoseRoseShop and tucked instead was this adorable Babyface BB Cream tube by It's Skin. After using this for a few days I quickly realized how incredible this bb cream is. Check out the full review down below!

What does it do?
"Help to maintain clear skin naturally covers skin blemishes to give, not a long time dark ning."

Pros:
- Covers blemishes
- Contains UVA/UVB SPF 36++
- Cute Packaging (but the wings do not come off since it's not part of the tube)
- Affordable
- Natural coverage
- A little goes a long
- Moisturizing

Cons:
- Only comes in one shade
- Smaller then you would think

My experience:
When I first received this in the mail I thought it was smaller then I thought it would be (it's smaller then my iphone). Within the first application I noticed a very faint fruity smell. This bb cream covers my spots and blemishes and makes my face look amazing! I adore this bb cream it's become my new favorite!

Would I recommend this product?
Yes! I love this bb cream because it makes my skin look natural and covers my blemishes. It's my new favorite bb cream!

Beauty Review ♥ Lioele Blooming Shimmer Pearl Base

I've always loved the healthy dewy complexion. But I thought you always needed a good BB cream to give you that look but then I tried the Lioele Blooming Shimmer Pearl Base and it make me rethink my whole makeup routine! Today I am going to reviewing this Lioele make up base and telling you why I love this product. Keep reading to find out why!

(This is what the makeup base that looks like sheered out)

What it does:
"Unlike common makeup base that corrects skint tone only, luster and texture can be gorgeously enhanced by the light diffusing color system containing pearl for a radiant look."

Pros:
- Brightens
- Highlights
- A little goes a long way
- Gives your face a beautiful shimmery glow
- Stays on throughout the day
- Makes your makeup stay on longer
- Cute packaging! Reminds me of Sailor Moon!
- Light
- Buildable

Cons:
- none

My experience:
The thing I love about this makeup base is that you can use it multiple ways. You can apply this shimmery pearl base over or under your makeup to highlight special features on your face or mix it with some of your BB cream or foundation to give you a natural glow. It's also very buildable you can sheer it down to a get a healthy glow or wear it more heavily with more shimmer.

Would I recommend this?
Yes! If you are looking for a primer/make up base that provides a hint of pink shimmer then this is the product for you!
