Korean Beauty Haul ♥ Etude House

As you guys know I am a big fan of Korean beauty products. A few weeks ago one of my favorite Korean cosmetic/skincare brands Etude House was having an amazing offer of 15% off their entire website (this discount is still active if you checkout using Paypal) along with free shipping over orders $30. So I decided to place an order and try out a few items that I've been meaning to test. Of course I had to share what I got with you all because Etude House is known for their adorable packaging!

This was my first time ordering from the global Etude House website. It took about 3 weeks for my package to arrive and everything came in packed in a cute Etude House box. The products came with bubble wrap around them but the eyeliner box still got smashed.

Etude House was also having a crazy sheet mask sale so I picked up a few and the packaging on the masks are so cute!

From Etude House I also got the Play 101 Eyeliner Pencil in black, Dear My Wish Lips Talk in BE101, Precious Mineral Any Cushion, My Castle Hand Cream in Pink Wish, and My Beauty Tool Cotton Puffs. I've been really wanting to try these products for a long time so I'm excited to try these products out!

Here are what the products look like outside of the boxes. I bought the Dear My Wish Lips Talk lipstick because they had a offer going around that if you buy one Dear My Wish lipstick you would get a mini size Real Art Cleansing Oil but I never got one which disappointed me because I only bought the lipstick to get the free deluxe sample.

Let me know if you want me to review any of these products.

Glowing Skin ♥ Favorite Primers

Now that the colder weather has arrived I've been making sure that I properly layer my beauty products. A new layer that I usually skip out on that I'm currently using are primers/make up bases. You usually use primers to make your make up stick on your face for much longer but I've been using tinted primers and applying them before and after to get a warmer glow to my face so that my face doesn't look pale and flat.

Revlon Photoready Skinlights: Technically this is a face illuminator but I mainly use it as a base. It's a neutral colored liquid that gives you a natural glowing complexion. This is a perfect product if you want to achieve the dewy look.

Etude House 8-in-1 CC Cream: This is a very light cc cream that makes me look very pale so instead of just slathering this on my face as it is I apply it on before (or sometimes after) my bb cream. Doing this really brightens my face and doesn't make me look like a ghost.

Lioele Blooming Shimmer Pearl Base: This is actually what it says it's a shimmery pearlescent base. I apply this after my bb cream and concealer because it does have the tendency to rub off quickly. Out of the three this is my favorite because I love the blush colored glow that illuminates my face.

What's your favorite primer/make up base?

♥ My Christmas Wishlist ♥

Christmas Wishlist
(Left to right) The Sims 4, Spinns Sailor Moon Bag, Canon EOS Rebel T3i DSLR, Pastel Alpacasso mini keychain case, Fujifilm UO Mini 8 Instax Camera, Hello Kitty Beats Headphones, Marie Tsum Tsum Plush, Macaron Coin Purse, and Etude House Cute Eyes Maker

Christmas is only a few weeks away so it's time for my annual Christmas wishlist. I make this list every year for my family so they know what I want for Christmas in case no one knows what to get me. There are items from $4 and up on this wishlist so you can take your pick.

The number one thing I really want for Christmas is a Canon DSLR or a gift card to Target or Best Buy for the camera. I've been using a point and shot camera that I've had for 7 years! It doesn't give me the quality I want for my blog so I need a new camera! If I do get a DSLR you guys can expect amazing quality posts n 2015! Another camera I want is a Fujifilm mini 8 instax. I've wanted this for many years. I have a bunch of cute decor/scrapbook ideas planned when/if I get this.

I also picked a few cute things that would be great in my stocking like Etude House Cute Eye Maker, a mini alpacasso keychain, a macaron coin purse, and a Marie tsum tsum. Also gifts cards to Starbucks would fit nicely in my stocking. ⌒°(ᴖ◡ᴖ)°⌒

What's on your Christmas wishlist?

Open Box ♥ My First Happy Mail

Happy Mail is a monthly subscription stationery kit designed by A Beautiful Mess's Elsie and Emma. For $15 a month you can get a kit filled with stationery goods like cards, note pads, journal, stickers, etc delivered to your doorstep.

As a avid reader of A Beautiful Mess I was pretty surprised that they decided to hop on the monthly subscription but I thought it was a clever idea because you basically get all the fun craftiness that A Beautiful Mess is known for all delivered in a $15 envelope. With that said I had mixed thoughts about my first Happy Mail because it came with the same things that they mentioned in their Happy Mail video but I was expecting different items in my first Happy Mail but apparently not. However I was happy that I got some of the items that were revealed in the video like the note pad and some of the cards but I was just hoping to receive a unexpected surprise in my first Happy Mail.

Back of envelope

A beautiful mess of creativity!

I got six cards. They all come with a corresponding envelope. I love how there is a variety of cards for different occasions.

These are my favorite cards, how cute is that pizza card!

Here are the extras I got. There are stickers, tags, and other stuff. My favorite item from this is the today goals note pad and the "I love you more than" sheet (which I think might be another card).

This is the biggest thing I got. It's a huge card that has a hand painted red gradient look and in gold letters it says "Adventure is Right Here" I'm planning on framing this and hanging it on my wall.

Overall I was alright with everything I got but I guess I wasn't expecting the same things in the video because I thought they were just examples of what you could get in your kit and not the actual products. I hope that next months Happy Mail brings new holiday inspired stationery goodness!

Did any of you order a Happy Mail?

Book Review ♥ Rookie Yearbook Three

Rookie is a online magazine devoted to younger teenage girls founded by Tavi Gevinson. Every year they come out with yearbooks so this year I decided to get their latest "issue" because I've always been intrigued by these rookie yearbooks. The yearbook itself features a variety of articles (some that contain personalized playlists), interviews, advice, DIYs, and more written by various voices including some celebrities like Lorde, Sia, Dakota and Elle Fanning and more. My favorite part of this book is that it involves pictures of real girls of all sizes and colors being real teenage girls.

Below I posted a few of my favorite pages/articles from Rookie Yearbook Three. I definitely recommend you guys to check this book out it contains a lot of content and inspiration! If you have a younger daughter who's in middle or high school then I think one of these books would be a wonderful gift like of Christmas or something. Oh and did I mention the book comes with stickers and lots of other fun extras! Who doesn't love stickers?

You can pick up a copy of Rookie Yearbook here
