Drugstore Haul ♥ Maybelline, Covergirl, etc.

I've been buying quite a few beauty products lately so I thought it was time for another drugstore haul! These are just some things I picked up the last couple of weeks. Enjoy!

Tigi Bed Head After Party
This neon pink bottle has always attracted me but I never bought it because its rather pricey and I'm not sure if I would like it or not. But when I saw a travel size version of this product at my local Target I had to get it to finally test out!

Not Your Mother's Clean Freak Refreshing Dry Shampoo
This is probably my favorite drugstore dry shampoo out there. I only used this when my sister had it but once her's ran out I decided to get one for myself. I especially love this dry shampoo because it lasts a long time and has a lot of product unlike most dry shampoos out there.

Essie Grow Stronger Nail Strengthener
My nails have been feeling weak and brittle (thank you acrylic nails!) so I looked up online to look for the best nail strengthener and this one won. It's suppose to make your nails look and feel stronger in just 5 days! So far I am on day 2 and I'm still not sure if it works or not. However this has a light beige pink color to it that makes my nails look nice and polished.

Sally Hansen Miracle Nail Thickener
Another product that I bought to help my nails become healthy is this nail thickener by Sally Hansen. I apply this on before the nail strengthener and so far it has made my nails really smooth.

Maybelline New York Master Precise Eyeliner
I needed a new felt eyeliner and decided to pick this one. I already tried it out and I can tell this is going to be in my September favorite!

Covergirl Ready Set Gorgeous Concealer
Covergirl recently released this collection so I decided to pick up the concealer to try out. It's actually a little bit lighter then my skin tone but that's alright because going lighter with concealer helps brighten your face more (just make sure to apply it before your foundation to avoid looking like a ghost).

Maybelline The Mega Plus Volume Express Waterproof Mascara
I haven't used a waterproof in the longest time! I actually don't like waterproof mascaras because all they do is lengthen your lashes and I like full lashes but my eyes get watery very often so I thought I would try the two mascara combo trick again and not ruin my eye makeup.

Style Crush ♥ Jessica Jung

Lately I've been watching the Jessica and Krystal reality show, which follow's the lives of Girls' Generation Jessica and her younger sister F(x)'s Krystal. As I was watching I've noticed how much I love Jessica's style so I decided to do a style crush post on her since I haven't made one in a while.

Her style is very feminine but also really basic. She always seems to wear classic pieces and rarely ever wears anything trendy (like most kpop idols do). I especially love her airport fashion because her outfits always look comfortable and cute. I also noticed that she always seems to pair some comfy trainers with her airport looks. Overall her style is girly and sophisticated.

Who is your current style muse?

My Top 5 ♥ Skincare Tips

I like to think of myself as a avid skincare junkie as I know more about skincare then the average beauty enthusiast so I thought I would make a post on my top 5 skincare tips that I learned throughout the years and if you like this post maybe I will make more in the future cause I have a lot of others tips I can share.

1. Drink lots of water
This is my number one tip that I recommend for anyone who wants clear and soft skin. Water cleanses your body and hydrates you like nothing else does. Not only that but it also flushes away all your bad toxins inside of you.

2. Slap your face!
Yeh you heard me! Slapping your face locks in moisture making your face moisturized and plump (in a good way). Next time after you wash your face give your face a few pats (but not too hard). I would recommend you to actually pat on your toner so that the whole product absorbs into your skin.

3. The more steps the better
So you cleanse, tone, and moisturizer but don't think you're done cause you're not! They're so many steps you can take before you call it a night. Some of these extras will probably cost more but it will be worth it if you really want youthful glowing skin.

- Makeup Remover: Before you cleanse your face use a makeup remover to fully wipe away all that gunk.

- Serum: Most people think that serums are only for people with problematic skin but no it's not. Serums help lock in moisture and keeps your skin hydrated all night long in a way that moisturizers can't.

- Eye Cream: I recommend you start using a eye cream when you hit your twenties so you can start preventing eye wrinkles early.

- Sheet Masks: Sheet masks are a fast way to brighten, tighten, and moisture your skin. If you have a big event to go to use a sheet mask the night before to have amazing healthy glowing skin.

4. Know when to exfoliate
When it comes to choosing masks or scrubs you should use more masks then exfoliates because scrubs can be very harsh on your skin even if you can't feel it (you should really only exfoliate 2-3 times a month).

5. Cleanse at night
From what I've read you are only suppose to wash your face once a day at night. Washing your face more then once can lead to excessive washing and dry skin (this happened to my older sister). Why wash at night you may ask? Well because think about all that you did throughout your day do you really think a simple makeup wipe will really get all that dirt off? So cleanse your face at night and just use a toner in the morning and follow up with your skincare routine.

Do you have any skincare tips?

August Birchbox ♥ Unboxing

Today I will be unveiling what I got in my August Birchbox with you guys. This month Birchbox unboxed three of their members boxes on their Youtube channel. I remember loving the second box but I actually got a mixture of all three boxes, which is fun. This month's box is all about lightening up your last few weeks of summer so Birchbox sent some products to help you get over your summertime sadness. Enjoy!

Overall I was really satisfied with this month's box. I love how all the size of the samples were bigger then usual (aside from the perfume) I really don't like it when they send smaller sized samples that I can only use once or twice, I need at least a week to find out if I like something or not. My favorites from this box are hands down the serum and breathspray. I love getting skincare products in my box because I love trying out new skincare products, and Birchbox always seems to send me amazing skincare products. The breathspray looks really cute too, I will be keeping this in my purse from now on.

What did you get in your August Birchbox?

August ♥ Wishlist

August Wishlist

I feel like I haven't posted a wishlist in forever! I love making monthly wishlist because it's a fun way to remind myself of things I need or want to get myself that month.

I've been really into tea right now especially David's Tea. They have such unique flavors like birthday cake and cotton candy and they also have these really cool tea steepers, you insert loose leaf tea let it brew and with a flip of a switch the tea magically pours out without any weird findings. To top of your tea why not use a milk frother for a foamy topping. Beauty goodies I've been crushing on lately are the Redken pillow proof dry shampoo and the new Essie summer collection nail colors look really fun. Last but not least Hyrule Warriors comes out next month and I really want need to get a Wii U before this game comes out, Lana is so cute! (and the only reason I want to play the game) speaking of Wii U what other games should I get?

Korean Skincare Haul ♥ Etude House, Innisfree, etc.

A few weeks ago I ordered some Korean skincare products as my birthday present to myself and I finally received everything! I basically ordered a new skincare routine because I want to do the Korean 10 step regime, which consists of ten different skincare products every night. So far I have 7 products but I still need an essence, ampoule, and a makeup remover (if you have any recommendations let me know!), but I'll probably get those before I update you guys on my new skincare routine. Anyways, here is what I got...

Etude House Wonder Pore Freshner
I've been wanting to try the Wonder Pore line by Etude House for a long time now, also the packaging is really cute! I've heard that the freshner is amazing so I can't wait to try this out!

Etude House Wonder Pore Whipping Foaming
Part of the 10 step Korean routine is cleansing twice, with both an oil and foam cleanser. I looked at so many foaming cleanser but was always intrigued with this one so I went ahead and got it.

Innisfree The Green Tea Seed Serum
I absolutely love anything with green tea in it so when I see beauty products with green tea in them I have to get them! I have also seen many positive review on this serum so I have high hopes for this.

The Face Shop Rice Water Bright Cleansing Rich Oil
This is the second cleanser I will be using. This is an oil cleanser that is suppose to help you fully remove your makeup. It's basically an oil makeup remover but with cleansing properties.

The Face Shop Rice Ceramide Moisture Emulsion
I have never used an emulsion before but from what I've read it's a mixture between a toner and serum. This product is suppose to lighten and add moisture to the skin.

Nature Republic Super Aqua Max Combination Watery Cream
In Korean they use creams instead of moisturizers so I looked up the best creams they have in Korea and I found this one! Apparently this cream won a few awards. It even comes with a handy spoon so you don't have to get your fingers inside the container, which is great and very hygienic.

I will be using these products for a month and do a review post on each one of them as well as a updated skincare routine letting you guys know what the results of my 10 step Korean regime.

Which one of these products do you want me to review first?

July Favorites ♥ Playlist

G.O.D - Saturday Night

What are you favorite songs from the month of July?

Fitness Friday ♥ What I Ate

Welcome to another week's Fitness Friday post. This was my first week of eating healthy so I wanted to update you guys with my favorite meals and snacks of the week. Also I wanted to share the app I've been using to track all the food I've been eating.

I bought these dark chocolate covered pomegranates to chew on when I want something sweet. They actually taste amazing! (like chocolate covered raisins) This bag took me a week to finish because I only ate like 4-5 pieces a day but next time I plan to buy more bags.

Wasa whole wheat crackers with hummus and avocado.

I love VitaTops! They are a great healthy snack that you can take to school or work.

 Banana pancakes with fruit.

 Oatmeal with strawberries.

Whole wheat wrap with carrots hummus and a light babybel.

Green smoothie.

I'm not a huge fan of salads but this one from Steak And Shake was really good because it had a bunch of fruits and veggies. I'm going to try and make this at home.

I've been using this app to track all my meals and it's cute too, which is very important to me! You simply take a photo of whatever you're eating and fill in the information like how many calories it has, what it is, etc. It also tells you what day you ate such and such and at what time. This app has really been helping me keep track of how healthy I'm eating, I really recommend this app!

What healthy (or unhealthy) foods did you eat this week?

Review ♥ My First Fabletics Order

If you saw my fitness clothes haul then you saw some clothes from Fabletics feature in there. Today I wanted to make a review on my first order from Fabletics. I bought the Boracay set which includes three pieces, a sports bra, shorts, and a shirt. I got this whole outfit for $17 when they were having a sale on some of their outfits. You can also buy these pieces separately if you like

Ayni Sports Bra
The print on this sports bra was the first thing that caught my eyes. I also love the back straps too. As for the fit it fits perfect on me but my only problem is when I try to take this off it's kind of difficult so if you're scared of this I would recommend sizing up. It comes padded but you can easily take them off if you like.

You can buy the Ayni Sports Bra here.

Havana Coverup
This is a relax fit shirt that has a oval shape cut-out on the back. It fits perfectly not too tight and not too loose. The sleeves are slightly scrunched which gives a cute effect to the top. Out of all the pieces I would recommend this one the most.

You can buy the Havana Coverup here.

Moro Short
These shorts have the same print as the bra but these have more of a greenish tint to them then the bra which has more purple. It also has a matching stitching instead of a lining, which the bra has. These are really comfortable and cute. They also have a hidden pocket which you can use for whatever you want.

You can buy the Moro Short here.

Have you ordered from Fabletics before? How was your experience?

July Favorites ♥ Random

It's time for my July random favorites! I didn't post any June favorites so I combined both June and July's random favorites together in one post. I got a majority of these on my birthday, I planned on making a birthday haul but I never did.

Alka-Seltzer Heartburn + Gas Reliefchews: I get really bad heartburn from time to time (especially when I eat fast food) so when I saw the Alka-Seltzer Heartburn Reliefchews on TV and I went ahead and bought them.

Vitafusion Sleepwell Gummies: I have sleeping problems every now and then, i even made a post on my favorite sleep products. These are tougher then regular gummies so you have to chew these for a lot longer.

I bought Tomodachi Life back in June and I've really been enjoying it so far. I've been playing this game for two months and I'm at that point where I've done everything and I just casually play here and there but it's still fun and really quirky. You can check out my review on Tomodachi Life here.

This lovely card is from my younger sister. She gave it to me on my birthday and i adore it! This is by far my favorite card ever!

Another birthday gift I received is this light pink Rebecca Minkoff satchel. This is my first designer bag ever and I've been wearing it almost everyday this month.

I love collecting cows so when I saw this cute plush cow I immediately had to get it! My sister gave me this hot pink octopus that she got in her Kawaii box for my birthday.

Lucy! I've had Lucy for about 4 months now and it's been the 4 best months of my life! She is the sweetest, cutest, and bites a lot, but I love her so much and couldn't imagine my life without her. Isn't she adorable!
