Culumi Nakada "Nowhere" Book Preview

Culumi Nakada is a harajuku model who also models for Zipper magazine and other ones. What I love most about Culumi is that she seems so down to earth and nice (look up some videos of her on Youtube). Her style is mixture of punk, vintage, rock and roll, tom boy, and girly however she has made that her signature style. In her first book "Nowhere" she shows you some of her favorite clothing items, outfits, how to do her hair and makeup, and a glimpse into her personal life.

Down below I posted a few pages in case you were interested to see what the book is like. I would recommend it if you are into Japanese street fashion.

You can buy Culumi Nakada's "Nowhere" here!

This is my favorite picture in the book.
Ayumi Seto is also in the book! She looks so cute with pink hair!
Are you a Culumi Nakada fan?

May Wishlist

May Wishlist

It's time for one of my favorite monthly posts, my monthly wishlists! These are the things I've been eyeing and thinking about getting. Enjoy!

First off, I can't wait for the new LUSH bathbomb to come out! It's called "Granny Takes A Dip" and it's so colorful! It comes out next week and you bet I will be getting it! I've been look for the perfect satchel and I think I finally found it at Forever 21! It's the perfect size, color and would look great with everything! I suddenly got the urge to dye my hair a few days ago but I'm still not sure what color I exactly want. I was thinking of dying it either a purplish red (like the one Ami currently has) or maybe a milk tea brown? I never dyed my hair before (my natural hair color is black) and I heard Japanese hair dye is less damaging so I was thinking of getting one of these hair dyes but if any of you have any recommendations please let me know!

Collective Haul ♥ Yesasia, Birchbox, etc.

Happy Hump Day! I recently ordered a bunch of goodies that were suppose to come in the mail tomorrow but they all got here a day early so I thought I would post a mini haul of the stuff I got in the mail.

From Yesasia I picked up the latest issue of Zipper magazine along with the May issue of Nylon Japan because Kyary was on the cover! One of my favorite Harajuku model's, Culumi Nakada, recently came out with her own book called "Nowhere" and since I collect Harajuku model's books of course I needed this one too!

I needed a new Clarisonic brush head so I thought I would try the deep pore brush. I will let you guys know what I think about it once I try it.

Lastly I finally got the new Kirby game! I literally went to every store in my town to find this game and couldn't find it anywhere! I even checked online to see if it was available in stores and it was but apparently it wasn't! Anyways I finally order it online because I was fed up but I'm so happy to finally play this game!

Review: Beach Babe Texturizing Shampoo ♥ Not Your Mother's

All the stores have been releasing all these new summer beauty products and I am in awe! As you guys know I love beach waves so when I saw that there was a shampoo to enhance those lovely summer locks I knew I had to get it! I've been using this shampoo for the past few weeks and here's what I think...

What it claims to do:
"We know you want sexy, windswept hair - and you can't get enough of your NYM addiction (*wink) - but you're still craving that extra something? Then use Beach Babe Texturizing Shampoo as the perfect base to create those tousled waves with ease. Hang loose, because this salon formula, infused with sea kelp and coconut oil, will cleanse your hair without harsh sulfates and leaves your hair feeling (and smelling!) like you just got to the shore!"

Pros:
- Enhances curls
- Sulfate free
- Smells great
- Affordable

Cons:
- Doesn't really give a beach wave look

My experience:
First off let me say that I have naturally curl hair so this shampoo may give different results to those who do not have natural curls. This shampoo has a creamy gel texture and latters nice. When my hair is in it's natural state I do notice a few more define curls (more than usual). I follow up by using the NYM Beach Babe Texturizing Sea Salt Spray.

Would I recommend this?
I mean I liked this shampoo but I wouldn't say it's amazing or anything. I probably wouldn't repurchase this product.

You can buy the NYM Beach Babe Texturizing Shampoo here

What's your favorite shampoo?

April Random Favorites

I haven't posted a random favorites in a long time because I honestly haven't had too many in the past months and didn't think they needed their own post (I usually only have 2-3 favorites each month) so I thought I would include a few of them in this month's favorites. So this random favorites includes some items from the previous months but I hope you enjoy anyways!

Trader Joe's Macarons:
I tried these month's ago but kept the box just in case I wanted to talk about them on my blog. The only macarons I've ever tasted have been the ones my sister has made so it was fun to try some other type of macarons. These are really soft and chewy! My favorites are the coconut, apricot, and lemon!

Russian Doll Bag:
I've had my eyes on this bag for forever! It's actually my sister's and she got it from Forever 21 years ago and ever since then I wanted it. She ask me last week if I wanted it and I said YES and she gave me it!!! It can't hold much (probably just my phone, gum, and lip gloss) but It's really cute!

Bath And Body Works Aromatherapy Sleep Lavender Vanilla Pillow Mist:
I remember talking about this in one of my previous monthly favorites but I've been using this so much this month I thought I would talk about it again. This is a soothing sleep spray that you mist on your bed and pillows to give you a better night's rest.

Disney's Frozen DVD:
Yes, I finally watched Frozen! I was probably the last person on earth to watch Frozen but I finally watched it and loved it! I secretly hum all the songs when no one is around!

Cupcake Washcloth:
I crocheted some cupcake washcloths using Twinkie's Cupcake Washcloth pattern on her blog. I've made a few (and need to finish some) but they all are absolutely adorable! Each time I follow one of Twinkie Chan's patterns I can't help but feel like I'm one of her helper elves!

Disney Magical World:
When I first got this game I played it 24/7 but sadly the "game flame" has died down but I decided to include it in my favorites anyways. Check out my review on this game here!

April Beauty Favorites

Hello again cuties! It's time to talk about my beauty faves of the month. I had a few favorites this month and surprisingly most of them have to do with hair. (I am probably the worst when it comes to hair!) I hope you enjoy this post and let me know your favorites in the comments.

Boots Expert Anti-Blemish Toner and Neutrogena Healthy Skin Anti-Wrinkle Cream:
Lately my skin has been feeling really smooth and I think it's thanks to the combination of these two products. I started using both in the beginning of the month and they've made my face look and feel nice.

BH Cosmetics That's Heart Palette:
I got this palette month's ago but in April I finally started playing with it and creating cute eye makeup looks. I love how this palette has some neutrals and a few bold colors for fun.

NYM Beach Babe Texturizing Shampoo:
To give my curls that beach wave look I've been using this shampoo. You don't get a very drastic look by using this but I do see a subtle change. Review coming soon!

NYM Beach Babe Texturizing Sea Salt Spray:
This is the best sea salt spray I have used! Check out the full review here!

NYM Clean Freak Refreshing Dry Shampoo:
Yes, another Not Your Mother product! I've been loving their products lately! This dry shampoo is amazing! It smells great, comes with a lot of product, and does the job!

What are some of your favorite beauty products that you recently discovered?
