Beauty Battle: Face It VS Etude House CC Cream

Today I'm introducing a new mini series that I will be staring on my blog. It's called "beauty battle"! In this series I will be selecting two products that are similar and reviewing them for you. Since it's called "beauty battle" of course their has to be a winner so at the end of each post I will announce which product I would recommend and that will be the winner.

For my first Beauty Battle I decided to review two CC creams that I've been testing out for the past 2 months. The first one is the Etude House 8 in 1 Multi-Function CC Cream and the second is the Face It Aura Color Control Cream. Which will be today's winner? Keep reading to find out!

1st Contestant: Etude House Glow 8 in 1 Multi-Function Glow CC Cream

What it claims to do?
This multitasking, 8 in 1 formula hydrates, primes, conceals, treats, and protects skin at an easy single step for a healthier complexion, inside and outside. It glides on with a glowing finish.

- Light weight
- Cute packaging
- Changes to your face shade
- Has SPF 30 PA ++
- Anti-Aging
- Gives your face a nice dewy glow
- Affordable

- Light coverage
- Only comes in one shade
- Hard to find
- Too white

This is a great light coverage CC cream. It gives your face a nice glow but leaves a white finish (almost ghostly). It also doesn't cover up that many imperfections though. This would work great as a base.

You can purchase the Etude House 8 in 1 Multi-Function Glow CC Cream here.

2nd Contestant: It's Skin Aura Color Control Cream

What it claims to do:
Color Control Cream that creates a radiant and clear make-up appearance as if the skin is being spotlighted.

- Amazing coverage
- Cute packaging
- Has SPF 30 PA++
- Anti-Aging
- Hydrating
- Long lasting
- Gives natural finish

- Compact too bulky
- Only comes in two shade
- Hard to find
- Expensive

This is the perfect cc cream to achieve a natural look. Covers up pimples and other imperfections. However, the compact is a bit too bulky for my taste but that of course means more product inside. Also, compared to other cc creams this one costs more then regular CC creams.

You can purchase the Face It Aura Color Control Cream here.

The Showdown

Top: It's Skin (Not Blended)
Bottom: Etude House (Not Blended)

Final Round

Top: It's Skin (Blended)
Bottom: Etude House (Blended)

Winner? The It's Skin CC Cream for sure! But I still like using the Etude House CC cream on days when I don't want that much coverage and a dewy look.

Did you like this post? Should I do more? What products would you like to see in a future Beauty Battle?
