Dramas I'm Currently Watching

I wanted to do something different for a while so I thought I would talk to you guys about the Korean dramas I'm currently watching, because I'm watching a ton! I usually watch 1-2 drama at a time but I'm currently watching 5! Four of which are new and running as we speak. I'll be talking about each drama and telling you guys a little background on the story and what I think about the drama so far. Don't worry no spoilers!

You're The Best, Lee Soon Shin
I started watching this this drama mainly because of IU, she's my favorite female Korean singer. This is about a girl named Lee Soon Shin who is youngest of her three sisters, She that girl who doesn't know what to do with her life and the least successful in her family. But when she decides she want to become an actress her whole life gets turned upside down! The whole drama is basically about her and journey on becoming an actress. I think this is an ok drama but it's way too long for my interest, 50 episodes too long! Plus, I'm not a fan of "family dramas" but I will continue  watching this because of IU.

Nail Shop Paris
I started watching this drama because I thought the story line seemed interesting and because I love nail art related stuff. Nail Shop Paris is about a internet novelist who struggles to write a story for her online following until she comes across her latest male muse. The only problem is that her muse works at a nail shop that only employs males! So she decides to dress up as a boy and work at the salon to write her new novel. I really liked this drama at first because they would have mini stories in each episode but lately this drama is beginning to suck (at least for me) but I will keep watching and hoping it gets better.

Secret Garden
After hearing so much about this drama I decided to start watching it. So far it's the only drama that is finished out of all the dramas I'm watching and it's also the only drama that I'm very far behind on. Secret Garden is about a rich businessman and a poor stunt women who end up switching bodies! They struggle as they try to live each other's lives. This is a old drama which you can tell right away (that is, if you watched other dramas before) but it's pretty good so far. My only complaint about this drama is that it takes a lot of episodes for them to actually switch bodies.

Dating Agency: Cyrano
I started watching this drama because I heard Soo Young from Girls' Generation was going to be in it and let's face it when I hear that my favorite Kpop star's are going to be in a drama I have to watch it! This drama is about a underground dating agency that helps it's clients to the extreme while trying to set them up with their soul mates. This is probably my second favorite drama out of the bunch. Like Nail Shop Paris, it also has mini stories in each episode that makes the drama a little more interesting.

I Hear Your Voice
Saved the best for last! I just started watching this drama last weekend and I'm already hooked! I Hear Your Voice is about a High School student who can read minds just by staring about someones eyes. When he finds the lady who saved his life as a child he promises to help and protect her until the end. This drama also has mini stories in it but I honestly love the main story so much that the mini stories don't even interest me as much as the other 2 dramas did. I know this drama is still pretty new but if it keeps going like it has been I can totally see this drama as one of my favorites!

Are you into Korean dramas? Have you watched any of these dramas?

Review: Simple Protecting Light Moisturizer

I'm back with another review today! This time I will be reviewing the Simple Protecting Light Moisturizer. I really wanted to try more products from the Simple skincare brand because I heard many good reviews on there products. I have already tried the Simple facial wipes so this time I decided to try out one of their moisturizers. Enjoy the review!

What it claims to do: "Our protecting light moisturizer with SPF 15, a perfect oil free blend of skin-loving ingredients and added vitamins, moisturizer with a light, non-greasy feel and helps protect your skin from UVA and UVB rays. Perfect even for sensitive skin."

- Light weight
- Has SPF and sunscreen
- Natural ingredients
- Moisturizing
- Absorbs quick

- Makes face oily
- Heavy sunscreen scent

My experience: I use this as my morning moisturizer because not only does it have SPF but also sunscreen (they both aren't the same thing) so it perfect for all day! What I love about this moisturizer is that it absorbs quickly into the skin and doesn't leave a greasy residue afterwards like most moisturizers do. The only downsides are that it does make my face oily throughout the day and it has a strong sunscreen scent!

Would you recommend this to someone? Yes, I think this would be the perfect summer moisturizer! But if you don't like that sunscreen scent then I would pass this up.

You can buy the Simple Protecting Light Moisturizer here.

Have you tried any Simple products before?

Review: LUSH Grease Lightening Spot Treatment

Hey my loves! Today I will be reviewing the LUSH Grease Lightening Spot Treatment. I didn't own a spot treatment before this (at least not one that wasn't expired) so I decided to pick up Grease Lightening because I heard so many good reviews on it. Keep reading if you would like to see my opinion on this product.

What it claims to do: "Strikes the spot with lightening precision. Dab on this super effective tea tree and witch hazel get to zap zits before they show themselves."

- Non greasy
- Gel consistency. I prefer gel products over cream products any day!
- Not tested on animal
- Good amount of product

- Barely worked! I would say it worked about 1 out of 10 times
- Crazy pump! Each time I tried to dispense some product it would fly all over the place!

My experience: I had really high hopes for this product at first because many people seemed to love it but after using this for about 2 months I can say that this did nothing! I used this as a spot treatment for stubborn pimples but each morning when I looked at my face to see if anything had changed my pimples were still there. Only once did Grease Lightening actually work on me but every other time it failed. Aside from the actual product not working the dispenser didn't work either, it would shoot out too much product and would make a mess! I'm really upset that this didn't end up working because I am looking for a really good spot treatment.

Would I recommend this someone? No, maybe if you have acne prone skin? I have normal to oily combination skin (more normal during fall/winter more oily during the summer) with no big skin problems and this didn't work on me.

Style Crush: Anna Yano

I'm a big fan of Harajuku Kawaii TV I love how each girl has their own unique style. I discovered Ayumi through that show and now I've fallen in love with another girl's style, Anna Yano! Everything about Anna Yano is so kawaii cute her voice, face, and of course her style that's why I picked her as my style crush! Her style is very sweet girly with a splash of lolitaness. Sadly, I couldn't find that many pictures of her but whatever I could I posted down below. Enjoy!

I wish they would've change the outside more (maybe, make it hot pink?) but aside from that I loved it! I'm also so excited I'm back and pretty excited about next month's box! If you don't know what Birchbox is read more about it here. I would totally recommend it out of all the monthly subscriptions out there!

Collective Haul

I have a small collective haul to share with you all today. These are items I've bought in the past few weeks. I hope you enjoy!

I picked up these sheer peter pan collar shirts from Forever 21 during their Memorial Day Sale. I've wanted some shirts like these for a while so I'm glad I finally got them and on sale! I know they're more Spring timey shirts but I think these would be perfect on a cool Summer night paired with a skirt.

You guys may recognize this floral bathing suit from my cute swimsuit post. I'm not a pool person but I still wanted to get a swimsuit because I'm going on vacation soon so I need one, even if I'm just going to be wearing it with a cute cover up.

Left to right: Revlon Top Speed nail polish in Spirit, Sally Hansen flower nail file, Trim nail clipper, Rimmel Scandaleyes waterproof kohl eyeliner in brown, and ELF stipple brush

American Apparel city tote. I'm so happy I decided to get this bag! I love it!

Hey there lovelies! Today I have a fun nail inspired look for you guys. If you are a fan of the Animal Crossing series then you probably know that their newest game New Leaf came out today! I've been waiting for this game for 2 years! So to celebrate I thought I would create a cute nail art inspired by the Animal Crossing: New Leaf bundle set

Review: St. Ives Blemish Control Green Tea Scrub

St. Ives is famous for it's Apricot Face Scrub but when I used it made me breakout so knew that scrub wasn't for me but when I heard that they made a Green Tea Scrub I had to check out (because I love anything green tea related)! I've been using this exfoliant for a few weeks and here are my thoughts on it...

What it Claims to do: "From America's #1 scrub brand, this scrub with 100% natural derived exfoliants and skin-soothing green tea gently fights blemishes and reduces redness and irritation caused by acne. The result is clear and calm skin."

- Softens skin
- Reduces pimples and breakouts
- Gentle scrub
- A little goes a long way
- Smells great
- Affordable

- Leave my hands dry

My experience: First off the texture of this scrub is kind of foamy when you get some out of the tube. The smell is amazing! This scrub is also really gentle on your face not like the apricot one at all (that one is more rough). The first day I used this scrub my face felt smooth and soft also since using this scrub I've noticed that I have not had any pimples, spots, breakouts, anything! The only problem I did have was when I was washing this off my face it made my hands feel very dry but besides that I really love this scrub!.

Would I recommend this to someone? Yes!
