Review: Physicians Formula Happy Booster Blush in Rose

I have always wanted to try the Happy Booster Blush by Physicians formula because it looked really cute with the pink hearts and everything but never thought of buying it because I think $12 for is drugstore blush is kind of ridiculous! But back in February I saw on sale at Target for $7 so I bought it was a Valentine's treat. I've been using this blush ever since then and here are my thoughts on it...

 Back of packaging
Close up at the heart design
Also comes with a mini brush and mirror
Swatch on hand (this is about 2-3 swipes)

What it claims to do: "Ultra-soft and blendable blushing powder features a fresh and vibrant mix of blushing tones infused with a pop of color to create a healthy glow. Infused with our Happy Boost Blend, featuring Happy Skin and Euphoryl, natural plant extract which have been shown to promote a feeling of happiness by mimicking the effect of Endorphins and helping protect the skin from environmental stress."

- Cute design
- Cute packaging
- Buildable
- Smells good
- Paraben free

- Pricey for a drugstore blush (but most Physicians Formula products are)
- It's hard to apply the blush because the mirror is at the bottom and you can't see yourself applying the blush on so you may have to use another mirror when using this

My experience: I used the happy booster blush almost everyday for about 2 months so I did get to play around with this product for a while. Since the blush contains a bunch of different colored pink hearts when used together you get a pinkish rose color with tons of shimmer. The color payoff isn't too much (which is great if you are going for a everyday look) but it's just enough for it to be seen on your cheeks. So does this really make you happy? Well I don't know! I consider myself a pretty happy person so I can't really tell if this is true or not but the hearts on the blush make me happy!

Would I recommend this to someone? Yes. I liked this blush a lot and I think a lot of people would too! It's cute and great for everyday use. But if you don't want to fork over $12 for a drugstore blush then I suggest you buy it online instead (link down below).

March Collective Haul

This month I've been buying a lot of interesting things that I would like to share with you guys. I hope you enjoy and let me know if you would like to see more of these posts in the future.

I bought the March 2013 Zipper magazine from ebay, it came with the cute heart print makeup bag. I mentioned in an earlier post that I was thinking about getting that Hello Kitty mirror case and guess what? I did! It's so cute but hard to hold.

I did some more online shopping on ebay and bought those cat tattoo tights. Coastal Scents was having a sale on two products that I really wanted so I decided to get them. Would you guys like to see swatches and a review on them?

For the first time in what seems like forever I bought some stuff from GoJane. GoJane was one of my first shops I ever ordered from online so I felt kind of nostalgic placing an order from them again. But the prices on their clothes are affordable and the quality is great too. I bought these two pair of shoes, the white ones are suppose to be my Dr. Marten knockoffs and the black ones are my first pair of creepers. Love them!

Sorry I didn't take more pictures of my clothes! I just got this white tiger face tank last weekend and underneath it I have two skater skirts one black (from GoJane) and one pink(from Lulu's) I also got a pair of harem pants also from GoJane.

I also got my Milklim jacket! I've been waiting for this jacket for a month! I'm so excited I finally got it! If you guys would like to see a review on this (and how I got it) let me know too.

Review: Holika Holika Pig-Nose Perfect Sticker

Oink Oink! I'm back today with another review this time I will be reviewing the Pig-nose Black Head Perfect Stickers by Holika Holika. One of the problems I have with my skin are my pores! I have major pores on my nose and cheeks so I'm always looking for products that can help reduce blackheads, whiteheads, and pores.

I discovered the "Pig nose" line from Holika Holika and had to get the pig-nose stickers because they're insanely cute! When I was reading reviews online all most everyone seemed to be offended about the whole pig nose concept for some reason which seems odd to me because I think it's a great way to market this line especially the pore strips (because you really do look like you have a pig nose when wearing the strips).

Close up
A box comes with 10 packets
Packet front and back
What it claims to do: "Pig nose clear blackhead perfect sticker is a disposable pink colored nose strip that removes whiteheads, blackheads, and dead skin cells. The pink clay ingredients helps absorbs sebum and eliminates blackheads. This strip will remove all unwanted impurities from your nose at once, leaving it smooth and clear."

- Cute packaging
- Affordable price

- Didn't remove whiteheads
- Didn't remove too many blackheads
- Notice no difference
- The strip doesn't adhere too well

My experience: I didn't have high expectations for these nose strips pretty much everyone said that they didn't notice anything changes either but I still bought them just to try out (and of the cute packaging. The first day I used one of these pig-nose stickers I notice that the pore strip took off only a few blackheads (5-6) but I didn't notice any other changes aside from that. The next time I used a pore sticker I didn't see anything on the strip!

Would I recommend this to someone? No. Overall these nose pore strips suck. I wouldn't recommend these at all but the packaging is really cute (and the main reason why I bought these in the first place).

Have you tried pore strips before? Which brand is your favorite?

Graze Box #4

I'm back again with another Graze box review. I got to tell you guys that I'm really happy with my Graze boxes! I'm so glad I found them and will continue reviewing my boxes as long as I don't get the same snacks over and over again. If you guys have any questions about Graze check out my first box review where I explain more about the company.

Box overview
Nutritional facts
Marvellous Macaroon
I couldn't wait to taste this snack because it had white chocolate (my favorite)! The white chocolate melted in my month! The almond slices and coconut tasted as usual. Something I tried out for the first time was amaretti drops, which are almond flavored macaroons, they were basically cookies that were really chewy.

Oven Roasted Salt and Vinegar Nut Selection
I've never tasted anything with salt and vinegar before (because it sounds gross) so I was a bit hesitated when I saw this in my box. But actually it tasted pretty good especially the almonds!

Yin and Yang
I wasn't too excited about this snack because it contained dark chocolate (which I'm not a fan of) but they other ingredients looked good. The dark chocolate pieces were really big so if you like dark chocolate then you will probably love this snack. The fruit bits tasted really yummy (some were sour) but the shaved almonds were my favorite part of this treat!

Smoky Gazpacho Dip with Wholemeal Crisp Bread Slices
Saving the best for last! My favorite treat in my Graze box this week were these little bread slices! To be honest I was kind of scared to try theses because they reminded me of the Bonnie Wee Oatbakes but these tasted 100% more amazing! The bread slices look so cute but do taste pretty bland but paired with the gazpacho dip they make a great combination!

Review: Skinfood Good Afternoon Peach Green Tea BB Cream

Good Afternoon! Just kidding (I wrote this at night)! Anyways, today I will be reviewing one of the BB creams from Skinfood's tea inspired line called Good Afternoon. The BB cream I used was the peach green tea in the shade natural beigh which is targeted to those who have oily skin, which I do. I've been using this BB cream for about a month now and here's what I think about it...

I think the packaging is adorable! It really does remind me of a tea box.

Close up on the back of the packing
What it claims it does: "A long-lasting BB cream that helps maintain bright morning skin throughout the day without darkening or smudging."

- Has SPF20 PA+
- Light weight
- Smells like peaches!
- Long lasting
- Conceals pretty well

- Doesn't control oily (at least it didn't on my nose)
- Liquidity texture (which I'm not a fan of)
- Each time I open the tube to use it there would be some running oily liquid that came out. Maybe is wasn't mixed well? I don't know.

My experience: I applied this using my hands (as I always do) I loved the way this smells it smells like the name, peach green tea. The texture of the BB cream was liquidity like a regular liquid foundation would be. On the face it felt really nice and light weight I didn't even know I was wearing makeup! It concealed pretty well but I would still use some regular conceal under my eyes. This BB cream lasted throughout most of my day out which would be about 8-10 hours. My only problem was that it didn't control the oiliness on my nose which is kind of a bummer because that's what this BB cream it targeted for. But I did enjoy this BB cream!

Would I recommend this to someone? Overall, I liked this BB cream but since it didn't do what it was formulated to do I would not recommend this BB cream. I actually heard that there is another BB cream in the Good Afternoon line that it suppose to be better at controlling oil then this one, should I try that one next?

You can buy the Skinfood Good Afternoon Peach Green Tea BB Cream here.

Have you guys used tried any of the Skinfood Good Afternoon BB creams?

Graze Box #3

Hey my lovely creators! Today I have another box review on Graze. If you guys don't know what Graze is check out this post and it will explain everything. This will be my third box from Graze and it's also my least favorite box, so far. It's not that these snacks weren't good but let's just say none of these will make it on my top 5 favorite Graze snacks. Continue reading to hear what I did and didn't like in this box.

 Nutritional facts
 Bonnie Wee Oatbakes
I was actually really nervous to try these (don't know why just had that "weird feeling"). The oatbakes had cloves or something in them which got stuck in my teeth (not attractive) but the taste wasn't that bad it kind of had a slight baked pizza dough taste to it. However, the sauce was horrible! I knew right away that I was going to hate it because it had onions (which I hate) but I decided to try it anyways and I totally regretted it afterwards. If you hate onions stay away from the sauce! Overall, I didn't like this snack and didn't even finish it.

Date and Banana Loaf with Cinnamon
I thought I was going to like this treat because the ingredients sounded yummy but sadly I didn't like this snack that much either. I found the banana pieces were hard to chewy and gummy like (which I wasn't a fan of). I never seen or tasted a date before so those were kind of weird. The yoghurt covered seeds were my favorite though.

Pina Colada
Wasn't too excited to try this snack. Most of the fruit in the Graze boxes have that hard to chew fruit which is starting to annoy me. The coconut was ok, the mangos were really good but reminded me of duck feet and the pineapple pieces were my least favorite and another teeth sticker.

Chocolate Orange Granola
This was my favorite snack out of the box. I loved the almonds and orange raisins! I don't like dark chocolate so I stayed away from those and there was too much granola seeds in the package (I still have half of them left). This treat was good but let's just say it's not my favorite treat that Graze has made.

Have you tried Graze before? What's your favorite snack?
