Review: Physicians Formula Happy Booster Blush in Rose

I have always wanted to try the Happy Booster Blush by Physicians formula because it looked really cute with the pink hearts and everything but never thought of buying it because I think $12 for is drugstore blush is kind of ridiculous! But back in February I saw on sale at Target for $7 so I bought it was a Valentine's treat. I've been using this blush ever since then and here are my thoughts on it...

 Back of packaging
Close up at the heart design
Also comes with a mini brush and mirror
Swatch on hand (this is about 2-3 swipes)

What it claims to do: "Ultra-soft and blendable blushing powder features a fresh and vibrant mix of blushing tones infused with a pop of color to create a healthy glow. Infused with our Happy Boost Blend, featuring Happy Skin and Euphoryl, natural plant extract which have been shown to promote a feeling of happiness by mimicking the effect of Endorphins and helping protect the skin from environmental stress."

- Cute design
- Cute packaging
- Buildable
- Smells good
- Paraben free

- Pricey for a drugstore blush (but most Physicians Formula products are)
- It's hard to apply the blush because the mirror is at the bottom and you can't see yourself applying the blush on so you may have to use another mirror when using this

My experience: I used the happy booster blush almost everyday for about 2 months so I did get to play around with this product for a while. Since the blush contains a bunch of different colored pink hearts when used together you get a pinkish rose color with tons of shimmer. The color payoff isn't too much (which is great if you are going for a everyday look) but it's just enough for it to be seen on your cheeks. So does this really make you happy? Well I don't know! I consider myself a pretty happy person so I can't really tell if this is true or not but the hearts on the blush make me happy!

Would I recommend this to someone? Yes. I liked this blush a lot and I think a lot of people would too! It's cute and great for everyday use. But if you don't want to fork over $12 for a drugstore blush then I suggest you buy it online instead (link down below).

Have any of you tried this product before? If so, did you like it?

March Collective Haul

This month I've been buying a lot of interesting things that I would like to share with you guys. I hope you enjoy and let me know if you would like to see more of these posts in the future.

I bought the March 2013 Zipper magazine from ebay, it came with the cute heart print makeup bag. I mentioned in an earlier post that I was thinking about getting that Hello Kitty mirror case and guess what? I did! It's so cute but hard to hold.

I did some more online shopping on ebay and bought those cat tattoo tights. Coastal Scents was having a sale on two products that I really wanted so I decided to get them. Would you guys like to see swatches and a review on them?

For the first time in what seems like forever I bought some stuff from GoJane. GoJane was one of my first shops I ever ordered from online so I felt kind of nostalgic placing an order from them again. But the prices on their clothes are affordable and the quality is great too. I bought these two pair of shoes, the white ones are suppose to be my Dr. Marten knockoffs and the black ones are my first pair of creepers. Love them!

Sorry I didn't take more pictures of my clothes! I just got this white tiger face tank last weekend and underneath it I have two skater skirts one black (from GoJane) and one pink(from Lulu's) I also got a pair of harem pants also from GoJane.

I also got my Milklim jacket! I've been waiting for this jacket for a month! I'm so excited I finally got it! If you guys would like to see a review on this (and how I got it) let me know too.

Review: Holika Holika Pig-Nose Perfect Sticker

Oink Oink! I'm back today with another review this time I will be reviewing the Pig-nose Black Head Perfect Stickers by Holika Holika. One of the problems I have with my skin are my pores! I have major pores on my nose and cheeks so I'm always looking for products that can help reduce blackheads, whiteheads, and pores.

I discovered the "Pig nose" line from Holika Holika and had to get the pig-nose stickers because they're insanely cute! When I was reading reviews online all most everyone seemed to be offended about the whole pig nose concept for some reason which seems odd to me because I think it's a great way to market this line especially the pore strips (because you really do look like you have a pig nose when wearing the strips).

Close up
A box comes with 10 packets
Packet front and back
What it claims to do: "Pig nose clear blackhead perfect sticker is a disposable pink colored nose strip that removes whiteheads, blackheads, and dead skin cells. The pink clay ingredients helps absorbs sebum and eliminates blackheads. This strip will remove all unwanted impurities from your nose at once, leaving it smooth and clear."

- Cute packaging
- Affordable price

- Didn't remove whiteheads
- Didn't remove too many blackheads
- Notice no difference
- The strip doesn't adhere too well

My experience: I didn't have high expectations for these nose strips pretty much everyone said that they didn't notice anything changes either but I still bought them just to try out (and of the cute packaging. The first day I used one of these pig-nose stickers I notice that the pore strip took off only a few blackheads (5-6) but I didn't notice any other changes aside from that. The next time I used a pore sticker I didn't see anything on the strip!

Would I recommend this to someone? No. Overall these nose pore strips suck. I wouldn't recommend these at all but the packaging is really cute (and the main reason why I bought these in the first place).

You can buy the Holika Holika pig-nose perfect stickers here.

Have you tried pore strips before? Which brand is your favorite?

Graze Box #4

I'm back again with another Graze box review. I got to tell you guys that I'm really happy with my Graze boxes! I'm so glad I found them and will continue reviewing my boxes as long as I don't get the same snacks over and over again. If you guys have any questions about Graze check out my first box review where I explain more about the company.

Box overview
Nutritional facts
Marvellous Macaroon
I couldn't wait to taste this snack because it had white chocolate (my favorite)! The white chocolate melted in my month! The almond slices and coconut tasted as usual. Something I tried out for the first time was amaretti drops, which are almond flavored macaroons, they were basically cookies that were really chewy.

Oven Roasted Salt and Vinegar Nut Selection
I've never tasted anything with salt and vinegar before (because it sounds gross) so I was a bit hesitated when I saw this in my box. But actually it tasted pretty good especially the almonds!

Yin and Yang
I wasn't too excited about this snack because it contained dark chocolate (which I'm not a fan of) but they other ingredients looked good. The dark chocolate pieces were really big so if you like dark chocolate then you will probably love this snack. The fruit bits tasted really yummy (some were sour) but the shaved almonds were my favorite part of this treat!

Smoky Gazpacho Dip with Wholemeal Crisp Bread Slices
Saving the best for last! My favorite treat in my Graze box this week were these little bread slices! To be honest I was kind of scared to try theses because they reminded me of the Bonnie Wee Oatbakes but these tasted 100% more amazing! The bread slices look so cute but do taste pretty bland but paired with the gazpacho dip they make a great combination!

Spring Nail Colors

Tomorrow is officially Spring (March 20)! I'm so happy that Spring is finally here! Spring in my favorite season, I love (almost) everything in Spring including the candy colored nail polishes in stores. Today I will be sharing some of my favorite Spring nail colors that I will be wearing this season.

Colorful spring time rainbow!

Left to right: Sinful Colors Cotton Candy and Sweet Tooth and Essie's Turquoise and Caicos.

China Glaze's Re-fresh Mint, Sinful Colors Orange Cream and Unicorn, Zoya's Shelby, and China Glaze's Kinetic Candy.

China Glaze's Dance Baby, Zoya's Wednesday, and Sally Hansen's Barracuda.

What colors will you be wearing this Spring?

My Last Birchbox

I subscribed to Birchbox back in spring of 2010 and got my first box in May. I've had many good Birchboxes and a few not so great boxes but overall I loved the idea of Birchbox so this post is going to be kind of semi-sweet because this is my last Birchbox post. I've decided to unscripted because I felt like I had a bunch of samples (and cardboard boxes) and overall I thought it was time to move on. So I hope you guys enjoy my last Birchbox post.

 Box overview
 List of products
 Items in my box
Whish Shave Crave Shaving Cream Full-size, $20
"The organic shea butter in this foam-free shaving cream makes for an insanely close shave and leaves skin incredibly soft. We love the exclusive blueberry scent." I just bought some shaving cream but this one is suppose to be foam-free which I have never tried before. Excited to try this but I will probably wait because it's the perfect travel size and it's kind of hard to find travel friendly shaving cream.

CURLS Cashmere Curls Full-size, $20
"Formulated with pure cashmere extract, this curl-loving cream softens and repairs damaged tresses." Usually I'm not a fan of hair products in my boxes but I'm looking forward to trying out this product.

Madewell for Birchbox Emery Board Full-size, $5
"We teamed up with Madewell to create this adorable mani savior, patterned after a print from their new spring collection." Love this emery board! So cute!

Sumita Contrast Eye Pencil Full-size, $11
"Made with super soft wax and hydrating glycerin, this long-lasting liner stays put all day and night." I haven't used a eye pencil in what seems like forever! It might seem pretty weird using this again. However, I swatched this on my hand yesterday and it held up pretty good.

Caldrea Body Lotion Full-size, $22
"We adore these elegant body lotions, which come in three ethereal scents: Tea Olive Lime, Aloe Water Apricot, and Coconut Fig." Got to admit that the scents don't sound like they'll be up my alley (I like sweet scents) but I guess I can't judge until I try them.

If you would like any of these products reviewed let me know in the comments!

Collective Beauty Haul

Sorry I've been slacking with my Craft Corner posts it's just that I've been very busy with other stuff that I don't have time to craft as much as I want to, but I will post one once I have more time to get crafty. Instead today I will be posting a collective haul with some beauty buys from the past couple of weeks.

I repurchased these Yes To Cucumber facial wipes. I used these a few summers ago and love them so I decided to buy them again. I have a trouble with black heads so I bought these Etude House "pig stickers" off of ebay. They're comparable to the Biore nose strips but these are a lot more cuter!

I also picked up some nail polishes! I bought a few nail colors from Sinful Colors (left to right, Sweet Tooth, Unicorn, and Peach Cream). I was in need of a new base coat so I randomly pick up the Sally Hansen Salon Manicure base coat and another one of my favorite top coats, also from Sally Hansen!

I think I went over board on the lip care items, don't you think? I bought a Lypsyl lip balm, two Baby Lips from their new spring line (Twinkle and Yummy Plummy) and a Nivea lip butter in Raspberry Rose Kiss.

I saw that Walgreen's was having a Got2b sale so I picked up the Smooth Operator Leave-in Conditioner Lustre Lotion (which I love). Also at Walgreen's I got this Raspberry Scented Shave Gel because it was on a good deal! Lastly, I got one of the Maybelline Color Tattoo's in Inked in Pink, which I didn't end up liking too much.

I hope you had a lovely weekend!
