Hello Kitty for Forever 21 Haul

Since last week I've been patiently waiting for my Forever 21 package to arrive because I ordered a bunch of Hello Kitty accessories from the Hello Kitty/Sanrio for Forever 21 collection. It seems like every year Forever 21 comes out with a Hello Kitty collection but this one is by far my favorite collection! The collection has a bit of everything for everyone fun bright neon colors, mod black and white colors and prints, and pink girly polka dots. Today I will be showing you what I bought down below, enjoy!

Sequined Hello Kitty beanie $14.80

Sequined Hello Kitty mittens $12.80

Onch Movement (famous for his fun jewelry especially his pretzel necklaces) also collaborated with this collection to create a few incredibly adorable jewelry pieces, such as Hello Kitty statement necklaces, a colorful mini Hello Kitty bracelet and of course some pretzel necklaces.

Sanrio and Onch Movement pretzel Sanrio character necklace $10.80

Sanrio and Onch Movement black paint splatter necklace $8.80

Sanrio and Onch Movement Hello Kitty bracelet $8.80

Overall I'm really happy with each item and impressed with the quality and since these items are only available in Forever 21 the prices are pretty affordable too! My favorite pieces are the hat and mittens, I'm going to use them as my Christmas shopping "hunting gear".

You can check out the rest of the Hello Kitty for Forever 21 items here. I think all the items I bought are already sold out but you can also find these items at Forever 21 stores.

Have you bought anything from the Hello Kitty for Forever 21 line? If so, what?

Nail Polish Haul

So I'm a huge nail polish junkie I probably more bottles of nail polish then any other beauty products. The last couple of weeks I've collected a few nail polishes and I thought I would share them with you guys.

The Sally Hansen insta-dri anti-chip top coat is one of my favorite top coats of all time, this is like my sixth bottle! It dries within 2-3 minutes and leaves a very glossy coat on your nails.

For October I needed a orange nail polish for Halloween nail art so I went to my local drugstore and the only pumpkin orange color they had was this one by Maybelline called sweet clementine. I DO NOT recommend this at all! It's totally streaky and the color doesn't come out like the bottle color. I heard a lot of bad things about the Maybelline color show collection so just don't buy those nail polishes.

These two nail polishes are from Forever 21's love and beauty cosmetic line. The pink one is called bubble gum and the black one is just called black. I like love and beauty nail polishes because they are only $2.80 a bottle and have a variety of colors to choose from. The only downside is that the nail colors dry darker in person.

These two are from Essie's winter collection. Beyond cozy is a sparkly mix of gold and sliver glitters. Where's my chauffeur is a opulent turquoise. You can see swatches here.

I have always wanted to try Butter London's nail polish but they are pretty expensive so when Jewelmint was having a offer for two free Butter London nail polishes for a piece of jewelry I jumped on the opportunity and bought a Christmas gift for someone and scored these two beauties for myself! The old bill is a beautiful copper color with tiny multi-colored shimmers that you can hardly notice. Chancer is a sparkly red nail polish that would be perfect to wear on Christmas. I will do a full review on Butter London nail polishes once I've worn these a bit more.

What's your favorite nail brand?

November 2012 Birchbox

So I received my November Birchbox yesterday in the mail and like always I wanted to show you guys what I got in this month's box. This month box is all about giving back, they even included a special something for you to give to someone.

 Box overview
 List of products
Masqueology 7D Moisture Cream: Full-size, $68
"Use this patented cream day and night to increase production of vitamin D and stimulate collagen." I don't necessarily like getting these little sample pouches because they make such a mess especially when I know I can get more then one use out of them. But I think that these two have the right amount for just one use which may or may not be a good thing.

Masqueology Masque Cleanse: Full-size, $32
"Who needs champagne when you have this bubbly face wash? It whisks away debris to leave skin pure and clean (cue celebration)." I love trying out new cleansers because you never know when one might be your new "holy grail" so I can't wait to try this one out.

Stila All Over Shimmer Liquid Luminizer: Full-size, $20
"Add a touch of this luminescent fluid to your cheekbones or decolletage, or mix with your foundation for an all-over glow." When I first saw this I thought it was a lip gloss but then when I open the tube the applicator reminded me of a nail polish brush but this is actually a face luminizer. When blended it's very sparkly and shimmery. I haven't used it on my face yet but just by swatching a bit of this liquid on to my hand I can tell I'm going to love it!

Instead of the usual Birchbox tissue wrapping this month they gave out these cute little boxes that you are suppose to fill with something and give out to someone. Cute! I wish they would use these boxes instead of the tissue packages every month.

 Surprises instead!
MCMC Fragrances Phoenix: Full-size, $45-95
"We convinced our favorite Brooklyn-based perfumer to create exclusive samples of this warm feminine scent just for you." This scent does smells warm but I can't really put the smell into words but it smells nice and has a sweetness to it.

One Love Organics Aromatic Body Serum: Full-size, $39
"Made with pumpkin seed and sea buckthorn oil, this fast-absorbing oil keeps skin supple and hydrated. Bonus: It has aromatherapy benefits." They actually put this in a plastic bag when I got it and I'm so glad they did because this stuff was leaking everywhere! I never used a body serum before but I'm intrigued.

Masqueology Revitalizing Eye: 3 masks, $24
"No matter how sleep-deprived you are, these under-eye gel masks will de-puff and brighten your eye area with hydrolyzed collagen, adenosine, and marina actives." I'm really lucky that I don't get bad under eye circles but I'm always looking for a way to improve my eye area so I'm excited to use this!

I also got this CHROMATICgallerie coupon to get $15 off your purchase.

Last thing I got was this Birchbox holiday gift guide, which features products from the Birchbox online shop that you can give to your friends and family.

Overall I was kind of disappointed in this month's box. I only saw two things that I know I will be using right away but aside from that this box wasn't the best

What did you guys get in your November Birchbox?

Essie Winter 2012 Collection Swatches and NOTD

I recently picked up two nail polishes from Essie's 2012 winter collection and wanted to show you guys some swathes just in case you are thinking about getting some nail polishes from their winter collection.

I picked up Where's my chauffeur? and Beyond cozy but I may go and buy some more of the other colors from the collection (because they're all so pretty!). I really liked the formula of these nail polishes everything went on smooth and clean. It only took two coats but I used three coats on some of the turquoise nails to prevent future "bald spots".

 Where's My Chauffeur?
Each time I see a new nail polish collection my eye's always wander to either the most brightest color or the blues so of course I had to get where's my chauffeur (even though I have so many turquoise blue nail colors). This color is described as "An oppulent turquosie" according to Essie. I love this color it reminds me of China Glaze's For Audrey but a shade or two darker.

Beyond Cozy
"A decadent slivery-gold glitter" the perfect way to describe this color. When I first saw this glitter polish I thought it was just another gold glitter with some shimmer but the more photos I saw of this color the more intrigued I was. It's a mix of gold and sliver that is perfect for the holidays!

What's your favorite color from Essie's winter collection?

October Random Favorites

So I didn't have that many October random favorites aside from candy, snacks, and a few accessories so maybe you may not find this post that interesting but I hope that you do. Anyways onto the favorites!

Skull Head Bracelets: I've been looking for colorful skull head bracelets everywhere! I found some on ebay but I didn't like the way they looked so I came across these on from GemPearls on etsy. I love these but the blue bracelet doesn't stretch as much as the pink one does.

Essjae Bracelets: When I saw the Hello Berry bracelets I fell in love with them but not with the price so I looked up on ebay and etsy to see if they had some similar bracelets like that and they did! I love the look of these bracelets and will be buying more soon! Check out the Essjae etsy shop if you are interested in these bracelets.

Snapea Crisps: I heard about these baked snapea crisps from a lot of people online but never thought they sold them in my local grocery store but hence I found some! At first I didn't like the taste but the more and more that I ate these crisps the more and more I fell in love with the flavor. There kind of like a healthy alternative to potato chips but they taste better then potato chips and don't have that nasty grease that potato chips do.

Candy: It was just Halloween so of course candy had to be included in my favorites!

Spike Headband: My last favorite item has to be this spike headband from Forever 21. I love the whole spike headband trend and can't wait to wear this more this month!

What were some of your random favorite items from last month?

October Beauty Favorites

It's that time of the month again, monthly favorites! You may recognize some of the products here if you saw my drugstore haul that I posted a few weeks ago. But I also rediscovered some old favorites as well. Let's get started and hopefully you will find some of these products intriguing.

Queen Helene Oatmeal 'n Honey natural facial scrub: One of my favorite facial scrubs that I have ever used. I tried tons of other face scrubs but I always come back to this one because it works wonders on my skin and is affordable. The only thing is that I think they changed something in the formula because the scent now smells like playdoh.

Essie's Bahama Mama: I really like this rich dark berry color for fall I would totally recommend this color if you are looking for a fall colored nail polish.

Thayers Rose Petal Witch Hazel toner: This has to be my favorite new discovery, it is the Thayers witch hazel toner in rose petal. Toning is a really important part of your skin care routine however most people tend to overlook toners in general. Anyways this one is amazing and it's natural so it doesn't contain any harsh chemicals. Full review coming soon!

Skylark Sophia lip gloss: I received this lip gloss in a set for free when I ordered the Beneath the Glitter book by Elle and Blair Fowler. They specially created these lip glosses for the two main characters in their book. These lip glosses are suppose to have a vivid color and be non-sticky. I'm very happy that I got to try the set for free and boy are these lip glosses awesome! They're super pigmented, not sticky at all, and (my favorite) smell sweet like vanilla! If you want a full review on the Sophia and Ava lip gloss duo let me know.

Nivea Milk and Honey lip balm: I kind of went lip balm crazy this month but this one by Nivea is by far my favorite and the one that I've been reaching for the most lately. It moisturizes my lips and leaves a sweet taste afterwards.

Urban Decay Naked Palette: I think I'm becoming obsessed with eye shadow or something because I have been reaching for my naked palette more then usual lately. Anyways I really love all the colors in the palette because they are all neutral and can be worn on a everyday basis.

EOS sphere lip balm in Watermelon Wonderland: Like I said the Nivea milk and honey lip balm is my favorite lip care product from last month but I felt like I had to include my favorite EOS lip balm from the Alice in Wonderland set. All the lip balms smell amazing but my favorite of the three has been Watermelon Wonderland.

Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Anti-Chip Top Coat: If you are looking for a quick top coat then this is the bottle you should be looking for next time you are in a drugstore. This stuff makes nail drying time go by a lot quicker while leaving a clear glossing finish on your nails. This is like my fifth or sixth bottle and I know it won't be my last!

Well those are all of my beauty favorites for the month of October. Comeback tomorrow for my non-beauty favorites and on Wednesday for my October playlist.

What are your favorite beauty products that you discovered last month?
